Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out piling and taking-out of paper by installing a stopper which can be shifted to a set position for positioning a continuous paper to a prescribed position and a taking-out position for taking out, into a stacker part and installing the automatic returning mechanism for the stopper. CONSTITUTION:Paper guide 20 and 21 are installed before and behind a stacker board 21 onto which a continuous paper 1 is piled, and the paper guide 20 on the front side is made short, and a taking-out opened port 30 is formed with the front edge part 21a of the stacker board 21. At the front edge part 21a of the stacker board 21, a stopper 23 is supported onto a base member 26 in turnable manners by a shaft 27, and can be turned to the positioning position A for the paper 1 and the paper taking-out position B. When the paper 1 is piled, the paper 1 is automatically set at the A position by a spring 29 in piling, and the spring-out of the paper 1 from the piling position is prevented. In taking-out, the paper 1 is set at the B position manually, and the taking-out is carried out free from trouble. After taking out, the stopper 23 is automatically returned to the A position by the spring 29.

[Prior Art] Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 2, this type of printing apparatus is configured to feed continuous paper 1 from a paper tray (hereinafter referred to as hopper) 2 to a tractor unit 3. When the continuous paper 1 passes through this tractor section 3, the laser generator 4
The generated laser beam 5 is applied to a spectrometer 6, and the charge corotron 7 irradiates the charged photosensitive drum 8 with the dispersed laser beam 5, and the toner conveyed by the developing device 9 is applied to the area where the potential has decreased. is placed on the photosensitive drum 8. On the other hand, the toner is placed on the continuous paper 1 by the transfer charger 10 and conveyed to the fixing device 11. Toner remaining on the photosensitive drum 8 is removed by a discharge 12, a cleaning 13, and a cleaning fleece 14. The toner is placed on the paper by the edge-turning operation of the process as shown in F-F. Furthermore, toner is fixed on the continuous paper 1 carried into the fixing device 11 by a heater 15 or a flash 16, and the paper is folded and stored in a stacker section 17.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] By the way, in the stacker unit of the above-described conventional printing apparatus using continuous paper as a printing medium, there is a gap between the front paper guide 20 and the stacker stand 21, and the continuous paper 1 is It may deviate from the normal specified position. That is, when setting the paper in the stacker section 17, the third

As shown in the detailed view of the stacker section in FIG. 2B, the front paper guide 20 is short because the paper is taken out, and when the stacker table 21 is lowered, a space is created. At the same time as the paper is raised into the stacker table 21 in the space, the continuous paper 1 gradually deviates from the specified position and jumps out from the front paper guide 20. Therefore, there is a drawback that the paper gets caught between the front paper guide 20 and the stacker stand 21, causing the paper to be destroyed. Furthermore, as a secondary problem, if the apparatus is operated with the paper jammed, it may cause a paper jam.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The means of the present invention for solving such problems is a printing apparatus including a stacker unit for storing continuous paper as a printing medium. A paper position regulating device is provided with a stopper that is movable to two positions: a set position for positioning the continuous paper at a prescribed position and a take-out position for allowing the continuous paper to be taken out, and a return mechanism for automatically returning the stopper to the set position. It was established.

The stacker section 17 includes a stacker table 21 that stores the continuous paper 1 sent out from the tractor section 3 (FIG. 2) side. There are two stacker stands 2 before and after this stacker stand 21, respectively.
A front paper guide 20 and a rear paper guide 22 are provided to guide the continuous paper 1 to be sent out. The front paper guide 20 is formed relatively short, and its tip 20a and the front end 21a of the stacker table 21 form a cape opening 30 for the continuous paper l.

Further, a paper position regulating device 25 is provided at the front end portion 21a of the stacker table 21. This paper position regulating device 25
is equipped with a stopper 23. This stopper 23 is rotatably supported by a shaft 27 on a base member 26, and comes into contact with the front end 1a of the continuous paper 1 stored on the stacker table 21 to position the continuous paper 1 at a predetermined position (set position). A

Therefore, according to the printing apparatus according to this embodiment, under normal conditions, the stop bar 23 is erected by the biasing force of the spring 29 of the return mechanism 24, and it is in the set position! It is positioned at (A). In this state, first, after the continuous paper 1 enters the stacker section 17, the continuous paper 1 is manually set at a specified position as an initial setting and placed on the stacker stand.

次に、スタッカ台21を定位置まで上昇させる。Next, the stacker table 21 is raised to a normal position.

During this operation, the continuous paper 1 gradually tries to move toward the front, but the front end 1a of the continuous paper 1 stops at the stopper 23.
Since the paper comes into contact with the paper, it will not shift, and this shift is regulated, so that the paper is always set in the normal, prescribed position. Therefore, the situation where the paper gets caught between the front paper guide 20 and the stacker stand 21 is prevented.

In this case, since the stopper 23 is housed in the base member 26 and moves to the take-out position (B), the situation where the continuous paper 1 gets caught on the stopper 23 and is scratched is prevented, and the take-out is opened without any trouble. It is taken out from 30. still,
The stopper 23 may be pushed down by hand.

After the continuous paper 1 is taken out, the stopper 23 is raised by the biasing force of the spring 29 of the return mechanism 24, and is automatically positioned at the set position (A). Therefore, there is no need to manually raise the stopper 23 each time, resulting in a less complicated and more efficient system.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, according to the printing apparatus of the present invention, since the automatic return type paper position regulating device is provided in the stacker section, continuous paper can always be stored in a normal prescribed position. This has the effect of preventing paper from tearing and paper jams. Moreover,
When taking out the continuous paper, the stopper can be moved to the take-out position, so that it is possible to prevent problems such as scratches on the continuous paper. Furthermore, since the stopper automatically moves to the set position, there is no complication and the operability is extremely good.
