Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize many and various kinds of area services in a wide area by providing a means having a radio transmission/reception function on a branching distributor. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a center is branching through an input terminal 7 to a radio equipment side by a branching device 8. The branched signal is restricted by an incoming and outgoing signal separating filter 12, and next, inputted to a transmitter 13. Inside the transmitter 13, the signal is modulated and converted to a proper radio frequency as necessary, and it is transmitted through an antenna shared device 15 from a transmission/reception antenna 16. On the other hand, the signal from an external part is received by the transmission/reception antenna 16, inputted through the antenna shared device 15 to a receiver 14, converted to the proper frequency in the incoming transmission band and outgoing transmission band inside the receiver 14, synthesized by the branching device 8, and sent to a CATV transmission line.

障害対策を施すことができるCATVATV分岐装置に
関するものである。

従来のCATVサービスは、有線(同軸、光)による伝
送路で接続されているセンター→加入者端末又は加入者
端末→加入者端末に限られていた。

第1図は従来のCATVシステムの概念を示す。同図に
おいて、1はヘッドエンド装置、2は幹線増幅器、3は
幹線分岐増幅器、4は延長増幅器、5は分岐・分配器(
タップオフ)、6はCΔTV加入者宅(加入者端末)で
ある。

〔発明か解決しようとする課題〕[Invention or problem to be solved]

しかしながら従来のCATVシステムでは、有線の伝送
路である事から、伝送路に障害か発生した場合、加入者
へのサービスが不可能となり障害時のバックアップは出
来なかった。

る。すなわち、無線方式を付加することにより、完全に
オーブンな伝送路が得られるため、地域的条件を選ぶこ
となく広域かつ多種、多様の地域サービスを行う事が可
能である。
