Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the subject dry granules used for the excretion of livestock, etc., and capable of being readily treated by flowing in a flush toilet after the excretion, by adding a filler to a specific pulp. CONSTITUTION:Hot water and subsequently a filler such as feldspar or talc in an amount of 10-30% based on the weight of pulp are added to pasty or bulky chemical pulp, mechanical pulp or semi-chemical pulp and the mixture is stirred to form a slurry. The formed slurry is dehydrated with a centrifugal separator to a solid content of 15-25% and the dehydrated solid is charged into the cylinder 4 of a granulator having a metal plate 1 with approximately 5-18mm circular holes. The metal plate 1 or cylinder 4 is rotated so as to always bring a shaft 3 into contact with the cylinder 4 and the charged solid is passed through the holes to granulate the pulp. Subsequently, the granular pulp is dried to a solid content of 25-45% and then thermally dried to provide the objective granules having a solid content of 70% and rough granule sizes of 2-10mm.

Since the treatment agent of the present invention is water-soluble or water-dispersible, it will not clog pipes even if flushed into a flush toilet. It does not form into clumps; instead, it rolls through the pipes one by one and eventually dissolves in the water.

Platy or lump-like chemical pulp, mechanical pulp or semi-chemical pulp is stirred with hot water and filler, then dehydrated to an extent containing 15 to 25% pulp solids based on the total weight, and then lump-like pulp is prepared. size 5~18+s
The valve was placed on a metal plate having a large number of circular or other shaped holes, and the valve was passed through the holes in the metal plate to form a coarse-grained valve aggregate, and a second dehydration was performed. The second valve solids content is 25-45% based on the total weight.
Perform a second dehydration, then drop the aggregate bulb onto a rotating metal plate to form the bulb into granules, and then dry to a solids content of 90% or more based on the total weight. It can be manufactured by

The first step of the present invention is to add a plate-shaped or lump-shaped bulb to hot water, then add a filler such as feldspar or talc in an amount of 10 to 30% based on the weight of the bulb, and stir it with a stirrer to loosen the bulb. Form a slurry.

Next, the bulb-like bulbs are divided into coarse-grained bulbs using a pulverizer as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. The subdivider is a metal plate 1 in which countless circular or other shaped holes of about 5 to 18 mm are bored, a cylindrical object 4 is provided on the metal plate so as to be in contact with it, and Mandrel 3 in the center
is upright and the mandrel 3 of the metal plate is in contact with the inner wall of the cylindrical object. It is rotated so as to be in constant contact with the inner wall of the cylindrical object 4, and 5 is a peripheral edge provided at the upper edge of the cylindrical object, and is provided to prevent spillage from the bulk bulb. When dividing a lump bulb into pieces with the subdivider, the lump bulb is continuously put into the cylindrical object 4, and the mandrel is attached to either the metal plate 1 or the cylindrical object 4. The metal plate 1 is rotated so as to be in constant contact with the inner wall of the metal plate 4, and during that time, the valve is passed through a hole in the metal plate 1 and dropped into a saucer (not shown), thereby dividing the valve into pieces. The bulb becomes granular immediately after passing through the hole in the metal plate. But when it falls to the bottom, the granules retain a significant amount of water, so
Some particulates may agglomerate to form agglomerates. The agglomerated bulbs may then be prepared with a bulb solids content of 25-4% based on the total weight.
A second dehydration is carried out to 5%, for example by centrifugation, and the valve is dropped onto rotating metal.

Once the moisture is removed from the bulbs, the agglomerates separate into individual granular bulbs and are coarsened to a size of 2 to 10+s-
Then, it is heat-dried to obtain a dried granular bulb having a solid content of 70% or more based on the total weight. In this case, dehydration of the valve by centrifugation is also important from the point of view of fuel savings.

The granular valve obtained by the present invention can be used to treat urine and feces for pets such as dogs and cats. When used for this purpose, the granular pulp produced according to the invention is placed in a small box and then the animal is allowed to defecate thereon. In this case, the moisture will not be distributed all over the valve in the box, so - when the excretion is finished, only the dirty part will be removed and new granular pulp will be added to the next excretion. Be prepared.

In the present invention, the filling material is added to the animal excrement disposal material because if the disposal material is composed of only valve husks, it is light, that is, fluffy, so it is likely to scatter around when a cat scratches it. In addition, the treatment material consisting only of valves is likely to be caused by static electricity, and the treatment material tends to stick to the cat's body, and there is a possibility that the treatment material will be carried to the tatami room with the cat. By adding a filler into the valve, it is less likely to scatter even if a cat scratches it, and the treatment material attached to the cat's fur will not be carried to the parlor.

Although the treatment material of the present invention is water-soluble, it is water-dispersible, so the valve after excretion can be directly flushed into the flush toilet.

The treatment material of the present invention can also be used as a treatment material for human indoor toilets. In this case, there is an advantage in this case that the granular valve is inserted about 2 to 3 cm into the bottom of the waste container housed in the toilet seat.
