Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the subject control process so designed that part of the raw coal on a coal truck is stored and the rest is charged into a coke oven followed by charging the coke oven with said stored coal, thereby eliminating variation in the bulk density depending on oven height and leveling the mechanical strength of product coke. CONSTITUTION:Raw coal 5 on a coal truck 3 is transferred to a hopper 11 through the operation of a bucket elevator 10 to hold ca. 20wt.% of the amount to be changed into a chamber in said hopper 11. Thence, a table feeder 4 is actuated to charge the chamber 2 of a coke oven with the rest of raw coal on the coal truck 3. A damper 12 of the hopper 11 is then opened tp charge the chamber 2 with the raw coal 5 in the hopper. Thus, 80wt.% of raw coal to be charged into the chamber 2 is fed to the lower and middle tiers in the chamber 2 via the table feeder 4, while 20wt.% of the raw coal to the upper tier directly through the hopper 11.

内への装入が終了後、ホッパ内の原料炭を装入するので

すという優れた効果を挙げることが出来た。

装炭位置より高くしたホッパと、該ホッパに装炭車上の
原料炭を送るためのバケットエレベータとよりなる貯炭
設備を備え、 コークス炉内に原料炭を装入するに当たって、まず装炭
車上の原料炭の一部を上記貯炭設備に貯蔵し、装炭車上
の原料炭をコークス炉内に装入し終わった後、上記貯炭
設備内の原料炭をコークス炉内に装入するようにした ことを特徴とするコークス炉窯内嵩密度制御方法。
