Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate dealing with cleaning of a plane or cylindrical surface by supporting the fulcrum shafts of brushes, the right and left of which make a pair, by means of two supporting frames, one end of which serves as a lever for positioning, and constructing the supporting frames in such a manner that the frames can turn with respect to a body frame. CONSTITUTION:An upper hanger 11 is hung by an overhead crane and is carried to the prescribed cleaning start position where casters 8 are landed to the horizontal part of a stage and suction cups 1 are operated to attract the device to a perpendicular wall surface in order to make cleaning in a horizontal direction. Traveling wheels 4, the cylindrical brushes 5, and the cup brushes 6 are then started to clean the perpendicular wall surface and the step part in the horizontal direction. The brushes 5, 6 are meted and set to the cylindrical surface at need by the lever 7a for adjusting and positioning. The required side of side hangers 12 is used in order to clean the wall surface in the perpendicular direction. The brushes 5, 6 are provided symmetrically on both sides of the body frame by the two brush supporting frames 7, 7 and the intermediate part of the frames 7 is turnably and pivotally supported to the body frame. The switching of the curved face cleaning and the plane cleaning is executed by adjustment of the lever 7a.

(Prior Art) The reactor wall of a boiling water reactor is covered with a thick lid made of reinforced concrete on top during operation, and a horizontal step, commonly known as a shank, is provided to support the lid. During periodic inspections, in order to clean this separate vertical wall surface and horizontal step, a cleaning device (Figure 7) that moves horizontally along the local part of the cylindrical brush and cleans the lower cylinder vertically is installed. Cleaning was carried out using two cleaning devices (Fig. 8).

The horizontal cleaning device B shown in FIG. 7 is of a type in which the running wheels 20 are hooked on the upper stepless 21, and it is almost impossible to adjust the amount of cut into the liquid film 22 during full cleaning. Further, two vacuum suction cups 23 were attached to both sides of the brush 24, but since one of the suction cups slid on the wall surface before cleaning, there was a problem that the suction cups got dirty.

(Means for Solving the Problems by the Invention) A main body frame, a vacuum suction cup attached to the main body frame, and two brush support frames each having one end serving as a positioning lever are pivotally supported at two points on both sides of the main body frame. The brush support frame has an intermediate portion rotatably supported on the main body frame, and the rotational position can be fixed to the main body frame via a positioning lever. The brush consists of a cylindrical brush and a cup-shaped brush coaxial with the cylindrical brush, and the gap between the cylindrical brush and the cup-shaped brush is used as the axial support on one brush support frame, and the axial support of the left and right brushes is I moved the position up and down to prevent cleaning leaks.

(Example) A cleaning device according to the present invention will be explained based on FIGS. 1 to 3. Reference numeral 1 denotes a vacuum suction cup, and its suction force is obtained by suctioning air inside the suction cup via an air hose 2 for vacuum suction connected to a vacuum pump. When traveling in the left-right direction, the vehicle adsorbs to a wall surface by four traveling wheels 4 driven by an electric motor 3 with a reduction gear via a chain wheel, a chain wheel, etc. 3a. The cylindrical brushes 5 provided in pairs on both sides of the suction cup and the cup-shaped brush 6 coaxial with these brushes are made of materials selected depending on the degree of wall cleaning (polypropylene, nylon (product name), abrasive nylon (product name)). (name), stainless steel wire, etc.) and hair of the same thickness. The cup-shaped brush 6 has bristles in a cup shape so that it can clean both the vertical wall surface and the horizontal surface of the stepped portion. These brushes 5,
6 are attached symmetrically in pairs on both sides of the suction cup 1,
The suction cups of the suction cup 1 are always brought into contact with the wall surface after being cleaned by one of the brushes, to prevent the suction cup pieces from getting dirty together and from staining the other wall surfaces with the dirty suction cup pieces. Moreover, the support shaft 5a of the brush can be switched between cleaning curved surfaces and cleaning flat surfaces by adjusting the positioning lever 7a.

As shown in FIG. 6, the positioning lever 7a is formed of the brush support plate frame 7 and a single steel plate, and the main body frame A is attached at the middle part.
It is pivotally supported by a shaft 7b. Positioning lever 7a
A plate 7d with a hole in the center is welded to the tip of the plate 7d so that an adjustment bolt 7c can be passed through the plate 7d. The adjustment bolt 7c is integrally connected to the main body frame A, and the position of the brush is determined by operating the knob 7e.

Further, the amount of cut into the horizontal surface portion can be adjusted by the height-variable casters 8. Also brush 5,
6 is rotated at high speed, so two ends of the cylindrical brush 5 are supported by bearings in order to prevent vibrations and stabilize the work. Figure 1) can be done. The lengths of the brushes provided in pairs on the left and right sides are adjusted so that the gaps G do not overlap. That is, in (Fig. 1), the total length L and the gap length G of the left and right brushes are the same, but for example, the length of the left cylindrical brush 5 is L, and the right cylindrical brush 5 is the same.
When the length of is L2, it is designed to satisfy L 2 > L L + G, thereby preventing any part left uncleaned from coming out after passing through the cleaning device. As a matter of course, the lengths of the cup-shaped brushes 6 are also different on the left and right sides.

Further, as the suction cup piece constituting the suction cup, a low-wear vacuum suction cup (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 184499/1983), which was previously filed as a patent by the present applicant, is adopted. This consists of a ring-shaped suction cup made of soft elastic rubber and a fluoroethylene sheet covering the portion that comes into direct contact with the wall to reduce friction with the wall. By adopting this, flexibility has been increased and it has become possible to use both flat and cylindrical curved surfaces.

is carried to a predetermined cleaning start position, the casters 8 are grounded on the horizontal part of the chick tier, and the suction cup 1 is operated to suction it to the vertical wall surface. Next, running wheels 4. The brushes 5 and 6 are activated to clean the vertical wall surface and the chick tier in the horizontal direction. At this time, the brushes 5 and 6 are set to match the cylindrical surface using the positioning lever 7a, and clean water is sprinkled on the brushes 5 and 6 and the front and rear surfaces of the cleaner. Piping and nozzles for this purpose are also installed in this machine, but are not shown.

Next, the arrangement for cleaning the wall surface in the vertical direction is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. In this case, either the left or right side of the side hanger 12 is used, and the unnecessary side is folded and stored. Further, since the wall surface is flat in the traveling direction, that is, in the vertical direction, the brushes 5 and 6 are set in a flat state by the positioning lever 7a. When the cleaner approaches the lower end, a lower stop limit switch 13 prevents it from colliding with the bottom of the equipment.
