Handsets connected together by arcuate members are well known and are used bi-early. However, such a handset must be branched off from the receiver. That is, it is necessary to physically connect the receiver and the handset, which limits its use. For example, when used by motorcyclists, such connections can be both intrusive and dangerous.
Further, it cannot be used for mobile police officers who must constantly receive information while getting on and off from motorcycles or cars.

Independent radio receivers mounted on arcuate members are also well known. This receiver is used by placing the receiver directly against the ear and placing the bow-shaped member on the head. A telephone receiver that is placed in both ears blocks out all sounds from the outside world, so for safety reasons, it is prohibited to use it for the above-mentioned purposes.

A major problem with the above-mentioned receiver is that it cannot be attached to a helmet as is, and furthermore, there is no antenna that can receive the signal no matter where the head is. This means that
The same applies to handsets that are integrally connected by a bow-shaped member.

For those who are required to wear protective helmets to prevent head accidents, such as drivers of moving machines such as motorcycles, it is important to be able to receive information or commands from the outside even when you are free to leave the machine. It is extremely important that the total weight of the helmet does not exceed current regulations, and that all external sounds can be heard during reception.

All the parts necessary for the radio are installed in the helmet, so there is nothing in the way of the user.
By using the above-mentioned arcuate member, the balance will not deteriorate. Additionally, there is no risk of the helmet getting caught in the event of a fall. Furthermore, since the arcuate member is removable, the receiver circuit, including the speaker, can be removed for repair or to prevent theft.

[Embodiment] FIG. 1 is a side view showing an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the figure, the helmet consists of a helmet shell 1 having an opening 2 at the front and having a shape that surrounds a person's head. The opening 2 is closed by a transparent rotating windshield window 3 mounted at point 4. An antenna 5 is arranged and fixed on the symmetrical center line of the helmet shell 1. The antenna 5 can be fixed in any manner, but it can also be embedded integrally within the shell 1. An arcuate member 6 extending from the rear center to the side portions of the helmet shell 1 is removably fixed at a height corresponding to the nape of the user's neck and both ears. This arcuate member 6 has a receiving circuit that detects and amplifies the signal received by the antenna 5, and a power source for the receiving circuit.

FIG. 2 is an enlarged perspective view of the arcuate member. When viewed from above, the arcuate member 6 has a U-shape surrounding the rear part of the helmet shell 1. The speaker 7 is disposed within a boss 8 at one end of the arcuate member. The position of this boss 8 and therefore of the speaker 7 is determined by the arcuate member 6
When attached to the helmet shell 1, the speaker 7 is placed at the user's ear, for example, the right ear. The arcuate member uses a light elastic material and is provided with ribs to increase stiffness and resiliency. A sealing body 9 is arranged around the circumference of the arcuate member and is brought into close contact with the outer surface of the helmet shell. A boss 8' at the other end of the arcuate member has a shape symmetrical to that of the boss 8, and a receiving circuit 10 for detecting and amplifying signals is disposed on this boss 8'.
Although not shown, the receiving circuit 10 is connected to the speaker 7 via a cable. A connecting member 11 is provided on the central plane of the arcuate member to branch from the arcuate member 6 to the antenna 5. The arcuate member 6 is provided with fastening means 12, for example a plurality of snap buttons, by means of which the arcuate member is removably secured to the helmet shell 1. Therefore, the bow-shaped member 6 can be removed for repair or battery replacement, or to prevent the helmet from being stolen when the motorcycle driver secures the helmet to the vehicle when parking.

As a result of the test, it was found that the transmission of sound to the inside of the helmet was extremely good with only one speaker, without having to make a hole in the part of the helmet shell 1 corresponding to the speaker. This has the effect of avoiding mechanical weakening of the helmet due to the drilling and allowing the other ear to hear external sounds.

If light elastic material is used for the bow, a simple retention means such as a snap button may be sufficient to removably secure the bow to the outer surface of the helmet. This allows for easy removal for repair or theft prevention.
