Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the continuous transmission of detecting signals and prevent inhavitants from being affected with uncomfortable feelings, by driving an environment detecting means, an environment control means and an electric lamp wire carrier means through a commercial power source, in an environment control instrument for air conditioner or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a temperature, a humidity, the stream of air, radiation, quantity of light, vibration, small and the concentration of CO2 in an environment are detected by an environment detecting means 1, the detecting signals are transmitted by an electric lamp wire carrier means 2 to an environment control means 3 through an electric lamp wire. The transmitting operation is driven by a commercial power source, therefore, it may be effected continuously. The environment control means 3 controls the temperature, humidity, the flow of air, radiation, quantity of light, sound, vibration, smell and the concentration of CO2 in the environment through feedback control based on the received signals so as to obtain predetermined respective comfortable values. Accordingly, quick countermeasures may be carried out even when the environmental temperature has changed suddenly.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventional environmental control equipment of this type uses a temperature detection unit 4 that detects temperature and a signal from the temperature detection unit 4, such as an air conditioner shown in FIG. a remote controller 7 consisting of a transmitter 5 that transmits by infrared rays, a temperature detector 4, and a power supply section 6 that supplies driving power to the transmitter 5; and a control that controls the temperature of the environment based on the signal transmitted from the transmitter 5. It consisted of 8 parts. Here, the power supply section 6 normally uses dry batteries. In the above configuration, when the temperature detection unit 4 detects the temperature of the environment, the detection signal is transmitted by the transmission unit 5 to the control unit 8 at a certain time interval such as 10 minutes to 15 minutes, and the control unit 8 is controlled based on the transmitted signal. The unit 8 had the effect of controlling the temperature of the environment.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, the above-mentioned system has the following problems. That is, since the power supply section 6 is a battery, it has a limited lifespan, and therefore, when used for a long time, the battery runs out and becomes inoperable. Also,
Transmission of the signal from the transmitter 5 to the controller 8 takes 10 minutes to 15 minutes.
This is done at fixed time intervals such as minutes, so if there is a sudden temperature change between transmissions, the control unit 8 may not be able to quickly follow the change, causing discomfort to the occupants. However, there were deficiencies in operation during transient conditions.

In the above configuration, when the environment detection means 1 detects the temperature, humidity, airflow, radiation, light intensity, sound, vibration, odor, and CO2 concentration of the environment, the detection signal is transmitted by the power line conveying means 2 via the power line. The information is sent to the environment control means 3. This transmission operation is performed continuously because it is driven by commercial power. The environment control means 3 then controls the environment's temperature, humidity, airflow, radiation, light intensity, sound, vibration, odor, etc. based on the received signal.
Feedback control is performed so that the CO2 concentration is at a predetermined comfortable value.

Therefore, unlike in the past, transmission will not become impossible due to battery exhaustion; If there is a sudden change in the environmental temperature between the start and the transmission, for example due to sunlight, an influx of heat or cold air due to people coming in and out, or the start-up of equipment, it is possible to quickly respond to the temperature change as soon as it occurs. This was causing discomfort to the residents. However, according to the present invention, continuous transmission is possible by using commercial power, so even if the environmental temperature suddenly changes, it can be quickly dealt with and there is an effect that it does not cause discomfort to residents. .
