Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an electronic component to be easily mounted by a method wherein a meandering guide is provided along a direction in which a takeout section is made to slide and a base plate is made to be linked to the guide. CONSTITUTION:When a takeout section 44 just under a distribution section 43 is pulled out this side, the takeout section 14 is made to slide linearly. A base plate 28 laid under a template 35 in layer is made to meander being guided by a meandering guide 33 provided along a direction in which the takeout section 44 slides. Therefore, a base of a recessed part 36 is made to move in all directions and an electronic component dropped vertically there is made to roll laterally. And, when the takeout section 44 just under the distribution means 43 is made to be pulled toward this side, the takeout section 44 is made to open, a circuit substrate whose electronic component 14 mounting place is previously applied with bonding agent is laid on the template 35, and the electronic component 14 contained in a recessed part 36 is transferred to the circuit substrate. By these processes, the electronic component 14 can be easily mounted on a required place on the circuit substrate.

[Problems to be solved by the invention] Electronic components without lead wires (so-called chip-type electronic components) such as resistors, capacitors, jumpers, diodes, etc. are guided onto a circuit board on which a circuit is printed according to a predetermined pattern. , will be installed. Traditionally, automated equipment for performing this task has been very complex and expensive. For this reason, it is impossible to introduce high-mix, low-volume production for financial reasons.

On the other hand, in the manual placement work of the electronic components, there is a very high risk that the electronic components may be placed too far apart due to operator error. Therefore, it is necessary to check whether the electronic components are correctly placed in the next step when selecting music.

[Function] The function of the above device will be explained according to the flow of the electronic components 14. The electronic components 14, which are roughly stored in the containers 5, are sequentially sent from each container 5 to the supply pipe 8 in a row. The electronic components 14 in this - row state are simultaneously
sent one by one. As a result, one electronic component 14 is fed into each tube 27 of the distribution means 43,
Each of them is sent from the lower end of the tube 27 to the drawer section 44 .

The electronic components 14 sent to the drawer section 44 are received in the recesses 36 formed in the template 35, respectively. Since the electronic components 14 have vertically slid down the tube 27 up to this point, most of them are received in the recess 36 while standing.

Subsequently, when the drawer part 44 is pulled forward from directly below the dispensing means 43, the drawer part 44 is slid linearly. At this time, the bottom plate 2, which is stacked under the template 35, meanderes while being guided by the meandering guide 33 provided along the sliding direction. That is, while the drawer portion 44 is moving, the bottom plate 2 reciprocates back and forth and left and right with respect to the template 36. Therefore, the bottom surface of the recess 36 moves in all directions,
Electronic i1 product 14, which had fallen vertically, was overturned.

In this way, the drawer part 44 is pulled out from directly below the dispensing means 43 to the front, and the drawer part 44 is opened, and a circuit board (not shown) coated with adhesive in advance is placed on the template 35 at the position where the electronic component 14 is to be mounted. Then, the electronic component 14 received in the recess 36 is transferred to the circuit board. As a result, the electronic component 14 is mounted at a predetermined position on the circuit board.

The electronic components 14 can be transferred from the drawer portion 44 to the circuit board by, in addition to the above-mentioned stacking, it is also possible to use a method of vacuum suction and transfer. In the former case, the arrangement of the recess 36 is reversed with respect to the position where electronic components are mounted on the circuit board, and in the latter case, the arrangement of the recess 36 is
