Description
Claims (9)
- ブレイン・マシン・インターフェースと通信して装置を制御する方法であって、
前記装置を制御するために、第1の意図に関連付けられる第1の神経領域において、前記ブレイン・マシン・インターフェースの第1のセンサを使用して、第1の神経活動を測定する工程と、
前記ブレイン・マシン・インターフェースの第2のセンサを使用して、第2の神経領域において、第2の神経活動を測定する工程と、
前記ブレイン・マシン・インターフェースと有線または無線通信するプロセッサを介して、前記第1の神経活動および前記第2の神経活動を受信する工程と、
前記プロセッサを介して、受信した前記第1の神経活動および前記第2の神経活動を処理する工程と、
前記第2の神経活動を前記第1の神経活動と比較して、この比較に基づき前記第2の神経活動が前記第1の意図に関連付けられていることを確認すると、1つ以上の第1の制御信号を、前記プロセッサを介して形成するとともに前記装置に配信する工程と、
前記プロセッサを介して、前記装置のセンサから受信した信号から前記装置の所望のパラメータを決定する工程と、
測定された前記第1の神経活動と前記所望のパラメータとの間の制御相関を、前記プロセッサを介して計算する工程と、
前記制御相関が予め定められた誤差を下回ると判断すると、前記プロセッサを介して、前記装置のブレイン・マシン・インターフェース制御パーセンテージおよび前記装置の装置制御パーセンテージを調整する工程とを含み、
前記ブレイン・マシン・インターフェース制御パーセンテージは、前記ブレイン・マシン・インターフェースの前記第1および第2のセンサによって検知された信号を介した前記装置の制御パーセンテージであり、
前記装置の前記装置制御パーセンテージは、前記装置の前記センサによって検知された信号を介した前記装置の制御パーセンテージであり、
前記調整工程は、前記制御相関が前記予め定められた誤差を下回ると判断されると、前記ブレイン・マシン・インターフェース制御パーセンテージを増加させるとともに前記装置制御パーセンテージを低減する工程、および前記制御相関が前記予め定められた誤差を上回ると判断されると、前記ブレイン・マシン・インターフェース制御パーセンテージを低減するとともに前記装置制御パーセンテージを増加させる工程のうちの少なくともいずれか一方を含む、装置を制御する方法。 - 測定された前記第1の神経活動から前記プロセッサにより前記第1の意図を復号し、
測定された前記第2の神経活動から前記プロセッサにより第2の意図を復号する工程をさらに含み、前記配信工程は、前記第2の意図が前記第1の意図に関連付けられていることを確認すると、前記1つまたは複数の第1の制御信号を前記装置に配信する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1および第2の意図を復号する工程は、メモリに格納された以前に測定された神経活動を参照する工程を含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記1つまたは複数の第1の制御信号のうちの少なくとも1つが前記装置に配信されるまで前記測定工程を繰り返す工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記配信工程は、前記装置の第1のパラメータおよび第2のパラメータのうちの少なくともいずれか一方を制御するために前記1つまたは複数の第1の制御信号を前記装置に配信する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のセンサは、第1の神経領域に近接しているかまたは第1の神経領域にあり、前記第2のセンサは、第2の神経領域に近接しているかまたは第2の神経領域にある、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1および第2の神経領域が脳内にある、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記ブレイン・マシン・インターフェース制御パーセンテージは、初期は0%乃至25%であり、前記装置制御パーセンテージは、初期は75%乃至100%であり、前記ブレイン・マシン・インターフェース制御パーセンテージを、0%乃至25%の初期パーセンテージから75%乃至100%の最終パーセンテージまで段階的に増加させる工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記装置の前記ブレイン・マシン・インターフェース制御パーセンテージが、前記ブレイン・マシン・インターフェースを使用する前記装置のユーザに関連付けられており、これにより、前記ブレイン・マシン・インターフェースは、前記ユーザが前記装置を制御しようとするときの前記ユーザの脳活動を、前記第1または第2のセンサを介して記録するように構成されており、前記装置の前記装置制御パーセンテージは、第1のパラメータの推定値を、前記装置が装置プロセッサを介して決定するように、前記装置に関連付けられている、請求項1に記載の方法。
