Description
The present invention relates to a cooling mechanism failure detecting device for detecting a failure of a cooling mechanism for cooling the components of the hybrid vehicle.
Conventionally, a vehicle including a hybrid vehicle, a cooling mechanism is provided for cooling the various components which generate heat by the actuation.
As a structure of the cooling mechanism, a structure in which a cooling medium such as water, oil, air, or a refrigerant gas is circulated in the cooling pipe, and heat is taken from the components to be cooled to cool the cooling mechanism.
For example,
In such a cooling mechanism, the temperature of the cooling medium is measured using a temperature sensor, and the operating state of the circulating means (for example, the rotational speed of the circulating means) is controlled based on the measured temperature. If a failure occurs, the cooling mechanism may not be driven normally. For example, when the output from the temperature sensor cannot be detected, or when an output that seems to be clearly broken is detected, it is possible to detect that the temperature sensor is broken in the control device of the cooling mechanism. However, for example, when the output is within the normal range despite the failure of the temperature sensor, it may not be possible to detect the failure of the temperature sensor.

According to the present invention, it is determined whether or not the temperature sensor has failed based on the difference between the measured value of the temperature sensor of the cooling mechanism and the temperature of the inverter of the generator. Since the operation time of the generator inverter is shorter than that of the motor inverter or the like, the temperature of the generator inverter is considered to be close to the temperature cooled by the cooling medium. Therefore, by comparing the measured value of the temperature sensor (the temperature of the cooling medium) with the temperature of the inverter of the generator, it can be accurately determined whether or not a failure has occurred in the temperature sensor.
According to the present invention, since the temperature sensor and the inverter are installed at adjacent positions on the cooling pipe, the cooling medium immediately after the temperature is measured by the temperature sensor is supplied to the inverter, and the measured value of the temperature sensor And the difference between the inverter temperature and the inverter temperature.
According to the present invention, since the temperature sensor is installed downstream of the radiator and upstream of the components, the temperature of the cooling medium in a low temperature state immediately after being cooled by the radiator can be measured, and the inverter Since it is located downstream of the sensor and in the uppermost stream of the other components, the measured value of the temperature sensor and the temperature of the inverter can be compared with a minimum influence from the other components.
According to the present invention, since the failure is determined when the inverter is not in the driving state, it is possible to determine the failure of the temperature sensor without being affected by the heat generated by driving the inverter.
According to the present invention, since the failure is determined when the operating rate of the circulation means is equal to or higher than the predetermined value, the failure of the temperature sensor is determined in a state where the cooling of the components is normally performed in the cooling mechanism. Can do.
According to the present invention, the control power supply voltage of the hybrid vehicle is at or above a predetermined voltage and determines failure if continues for a predetermined time or longer, the various auxiliary machines and operations of various ECU of hybrid vehicle The failure of the
According to the present invention, when the inverter temperature acquisition unit is out of order, the determination of the failure of the temperature sensor is not performed, so the determination accuracy of the failure of the temperature sensor can be improved.
According to the present invention, since the failure determination is not performed at the time of the failure of the circulation means where the cooling by the cooling mechanism becomes insufficient, the determination accuracy of the failure of the temperature sensor can be improved.
According to the present invention, if the temperature sensor is faulty, since the notification if the driver, the driver can take such as repair of the temperature sensor, the appropriate measures, the safety of the hybrid vehicle Can be improved.

温度センサ200で測定された冷却媒体の温度は、ハイブリッド車両30のECU10A(Electronic Control Unit)に出力される。
In the present embodiment, the
The measured temperature of the cooling

Failure determination means 106 determines whether or not
More specifically, failure determination means 106 determines that
Here, the
For this reason, it is predicted that the measured value of the
The failure determination means 106 determines whether or not the
The failure determination means 106 determines the failure of the
Failure determination permission condition 1:
Failure determination permission condition 2: The operating rate of the circulation means 208 is a predetermined value or more.
That is, failure determination means 106 acquires the driving state information of
Further, the
The failure
The time when the
The failure determination permission condition 2 is determined when the operating rate of the circulation means 208 is less than a predetermined operating rate, and the temperature measured by the temperature sensor 322 is less likely to be dissipated from the heat source component. This is because there is a possibility that accurate failure determination cannot be performed because it takes time until the temperature falls to within the predetermined temperature. On the other hand, when the circulation means 208 is operating at a predetermined operating rate or higher, appropriate heat is radiated from the component that becomes the heat source, and the temperature measured by the temperature sensor 322 is attenuated within a predetermined temperature within a predetermined time. Therefore, it is possible to make a relatively accurate failure determination.

In the cooling mechanism
Further, since the
