Description
本特許非仮出願は、米国特許法第120条に基づく、米国特許出願第13/097,891号「Tissue Thickness Compensator For A Surgical Stapler Comprising An Adjustable Anvil」(2011年9月29日出願)の一部継続出願であり、これは、米国特許法第120条に基づく、米国特許出願第12/894,377号「Selectively Orientable Implantable Fastener Cartridge」(2010年9月30日出願)の一部継続出願であり、これらの開示の全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。

3.前記変形可能チューブが、前記カートリッジ本体の前記デッキに隣接して配置されている、実施形態2に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
4.前記少なくとも1列の締結具空洞が、実質的に平行なステープル空洞の列を含み、前記カートリッジ本体が、
前記実質的に平行なステープル空洞の列のうち2列の間に延在するスロットと、
前記スロット内を並進するよう構成された切断エレメントと、を備え、前記変形可能チューブの少なくとも一部分が前記スロットに重なっており、これによって、前記切断エレメントが、前記変形可能チューブの少なくとも一部分を切断するように構成されている、実施形態2又は3に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
5.前記変形可能チューブが、第1変形可能チューブを備え、前記締結具カートリッジアセンブリが更に第2変形可能チューブを備え、前記第2変形可能チューブが前記第1変形可能チューブに実質的に平行である、実施形態2〜4のいずれか一項に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
6.前記第2変形可能チューブが、前記第1変形可能チューブ内に配置される、実施形態5に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
7.第3変形可能チューブを更に備え、前記第3変形可能チューブが、前記第2変形可能チューブ内に配置される、実施形態6に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
8.第3変形可能チューブを更に備え、前記第1変形可能チューブが、前記カートリッジ本体によって画定される長手方向軸と一列に揃っており、前記第2変形可能チューブが、前記第1変形可能チューブの第1側に配置され、かつ前記第3変形可能チューブが、前記第1変形可能チューブの第2側に配置される、実施形態5又は6に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
9.前記第1変形可能チューブ及び前記第2変形可能チューブが、隣接部分と一緒に共押出成形されて単一部品を形成する、実施形態5〜8のいずれか一項に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
10.前記変形可能チューブが、一緒に編み込まれてチューブ壁を形成するストランド格子を含む、実施形態1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
11.前記ストランド格子が、チューブ状ストランドを含む、実施形態10に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
12.前記ストランド格子が、生体吸収性ストランドを含む、実施形態10又は11に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
13.前記変形可能チューブが更に、前記ストランド格子の外側及び内側のうち一方に配置された非多孔質チューブを含み、かつ前記非多孔質チューブが、前記ストランド格子と一緒に共押出成形される、実施形態10〜12のいずれか一項に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
14.前記ストランド格子が、組織を治療するための治療薬で少なくとも部分的に充填されている、実施形態13に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
15.外科用器具の締結具カートリッジであって、
長手方向軸を画定するカートリッジ本体と、
弾力性格子に編まれた第1の複数ストランドであって、前記弾力性格子が前記長手方向軸に実質的に平行である、第1の複数ストランドと、
初期位置と発射済み位置との間を移動可能な締結具とを含み、少なくとも1つのそのような締結具が、その発射済み位置へと移動する際、前記弾力性格子の一部分を圧縮するよう構成されている、締結具カートリッジ。

アンビルと、
締結具カートリッジであって、

初期位置と発射済み位置との間で移動可能な締結具と、を備え、各前記締結具は、その初期位置にあるときに締結具空洞内に配置される、締結具カートリッジと、
チューブであって、前記チューブが弾力性材料を含み、かつ前記チューブが、前記少なくとも1列の締結具空洞に対して実質的に平行である、チューブと、

18.前記チューブが、組織を治療するための治療薬を含む、実施形態17に記載のエンドエフェクタアセンブリ。

(1) 外科用器具の締結具カートリッジアセンブリであって、
カートリッジ本体と、
前記カートリッジ本体に対して配置される変形可能チューブであって、前記変形可能チューブが、弾力性材料を含む、変形可能チューブと、
初期位置と発射済み位置との間を移動可能な締結具と、を備え、前記締結具は、前記締結具がその発射済み位置へと移動する際に、前記変形可能チューブの一部分に係合するよう構成されている、締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
(2) 前記カートリッジ本体が、
デッキと、
前記デッキ内における少なくとも1列の締結具空洞と、を備え、前記変形可能チューブが少なくとも1列の前記締結具空洞に重なる、実施態様1に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
(3) 前記変形可能チューブが、前記カートリッジ本体の前記デッキに隣接して配置されている、実施態様2に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
(4) 前記少なくとも1列の締結具空洞が、実質的に平行なステープル空洞の列を含み、前記カートリッジ本体が、
前記実質的に平行なステープル空洞の列のうち2列の間に延在するスロットと、
前記スロット内を並進するよう構成された切断エレメントと、を備え、前記変形可能チューブの少なくとも一部分が前記スロットに重なっており、これによって、前記切断エレメントが、前記変形可能チューブの少なくとも一部分を切断するように構成されている、実施態様2又は3に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
(5) 前記変形可能チューブが、第1変形可能チューブを備え、前記締結具カートリッジアセンブリが更に第2変形可能チューブを備え、前記第2変形可能チューブが前記第1変形可能チューブに実質的に平行である、実施態様2〜4のいずれかに記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
(7) 第3変形可能チューブを更に備え、前記第3変形可能チューブが、前記第2変形可能チューブ内に配置される、実施態様6に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
(8) 第3変形可能チューブを更に備え、前記第1変形可能チューブが、前記カートリッジ本体によって画定される長手方向軸と一列に揃っており、前記第2変形可能チューブが、前記第1変形可能チューブの第1側に配置され、かつ前記第3変形可能チューブが、前記第1変形可能チューブの第2側に配置される、実施態様5又は6に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
(9) 前記第1変形可能チューブ及び前記第2変形可能チューブが、隣接部分と一緒に共押出成形されて単一部品を形成する、実施態様5〜8のいずれかに記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
(10) 前記変形可能チューブが、一緒に編み込まれてチューブ壁を形成するストランド格子を含む、実施態様1〜9のいずれかに記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
(12) 前記ストランド格子が、生体吸収性ストランドを含む、実施態様10又は11に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
(13) 前記変形可能チューブが更に、前記ストランド格子の外側及び内側のうち一方に配置された非多孔質チューブを含み、かつ前記非多孔質チューブが、前記ストランド格子と一緒に共押出成形される、実施態様10〜12のいずれかに記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
(14) 前記ストランド格子が、組織を治療するための治療薬で少なくとも部分的に充填されている、実施態様13に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
(15) 外科用器具の締結具カートリッジであって、
長手方向軸を画定するカートリッジ本体と、
弾力性格子に編まれた第1の複数ストランドであって、前記弾力性格子が前記長手方向軸に実質的に平行である、第1の複数ストランドと、
初期位置と発射済み位置との間を移動可能な締結具とを含み、少なくとも1つのそのような締結具が、その発射済み位置へと移動する際、前記弾力性格子の一部分を圧縮するよう構成されている、締結具カートリッジ。
(17) 外科用器具のエンドエフェクタアセンブリであって、
アンビルと、
締結具カートリッジであって、
少なくとも1列の締結具空洞、及び
初期位置と発射済み位置との間で移動可能な締結具と、を備え、各前記締結具は、その初期位置にあるときに締結具空洞内に配置される、締結具カートリッジと、
チューブであって、前記チューブが弾力性材料を含み、かつ前記チューブが、前記少なくとも1列の締結具空洞に対して実質的に平行である、チューブと、
を含み、少なくとも1つの締結具が、その発射済み位置へと移動する際、前記チューブの一部分を変形させるよう構成されている、エンドエフェクタアセンブリ。
(18) 前記チューブが、組織を治療するための治療薬を含む、実施態様17に記載のエンドエフェクタアセンブリ。
(19) 前記チューブが生体吸収性であり、これによって前記チューブが生体吸収される際に前記治療薬を放出する、実施態様18に記載のエンドエフェクタアセンブリ。
(20) 前記締結具カートリッジ内のスロットの少なくとも一部分に沿って並進するように構成された切断エレメントを更に備え、前記切断エレメント及び前記複数の締結具のうち少なくとも一方が、前記チューブを穿刺するよう構成され、これによって前記治療薬が前記チューブから放出される、実施態様18又は19に記載のエンドエフェクタアセンブリ。
Claims (17)
- 外科用器具の締結具カートリッジアセンブリであって、
カートリッジ本体と、
締結具内に捕捉された組織の厚さを補償する組織厚さコンペンセーターであって、前記カートリッジ本体の上デッキ表面上に底面が配置される変形可能チューブを有し、前記変形可能チューブの略全体が前記上デッキ表面よりも上部に位置し、前記変形可能チューブが、弾力性材料から構成されている、組織厚さコンペンセーターと、
初期位置と発射済み位置との間を移動可能な前記締結具と、を備え、前記締結具は、前記締結具がその発射済み位置へと移動する際に、前記変形可能チューブの一部分に係合するよう構成されており、
前記変形可能チューブは、前記変形可能チューブの長手方向に延在する少なくとも1本の管腔を有し、前記少なくとも1本の管腔は、前記変形可能チューブの遠位端および近位端を通って継続していて、前記変形可能チューブの前記遠位端および前記近位端は開放されている、締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。 - 前記カートリッジ本体が、
デッキと、
前記デッキ内における少なくとも1列の締結具空洞と、を備え、前記変形可能チューブが少なくとも1列の前記締結具空洞に重なる、請求項1に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。 - 前記変形可能チューブが、前記カートリッジ本体の前記デッキに隣接して配置されている、請求項2に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも1列の締結具空洞が、実質的に平行なステープル空洞の列を含み、前記カートリッジ本体が、
前記実質的に平行なステープル空洞の列のうち2列の間に延在するスロットと、
前記スロット内を並進するよう構成された切断エレメントと、を備え、前記変形可能チューブの少なくとも一部分が前記スロットに重なっており、これによって、前記切断エレメントが、前記変形可能チューブの少なくとも一部分を切断するように構成されている、請求項2又は3に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。 - 前記変形可能チューブが、第1変形可能チューブを備え、前記締結具カートリッジアセンブリが更に第2変形可能チューブを備え、前記第2変形可能チューブが前記第1変形可能チューブに実質的に平行である、請求項2〜4のいずれか一項に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
- 前記第2変形可能チューブが、前記第1変形可能チューブ内に配置される、請求項5に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
- 第3変形可能チューブを更に備え、前記第3変形可能チューブが、前記第2変形可能チューブ内に配置される、請求項6に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
- 第3変形可能チューブを更に備え、前記第1変形可能チューブが、前記カートリッジ本体によって画定される長手方向軸と一列に揃っており、前記第2変形可能チューブが、前記第1変形可能チューブの第1側に配置され、かつ前記第3変形可能チューブが、前記第1変形可能チューブの第2側に配置される、請求項5又は6に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
- 前記第1変形可能チューブ及び前記第2変形可能チューブが、隣接部分と一緒に共押出成形されて単一部品を形成する、請求項5〜8のいずれか一項に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
- 前記変形可能チューブが、一緒に編み込まれてチューブ壁を形成するストランド格子を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
- 前記ストランド格子が、チューブ状ストランドを含む、請求項10に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
- 前記ストランド格子が、生体吸収性ストランドを含む、請求項10又は11に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
- 前記ストランド格子が、組織を治療するための治療薬で少なくとも部分的に充填されている、請求項10に記載の締結具カートリッジアセンブリ。
- 外科用器具のエンドエフェクタアセンブリであって、
アンビルと、
締結具カートリッジであって、
少なくとも1列の締結具空洞、及び
初期位置と発射済み位置との間で移動可能な締結具と、を備え、各前記締結具は、その初期位置にあるときに締結具空洞内に配置される、締結具カートリッジと、
前記締結具内に捕捉された組織の厚さを補償する組織厚さコンペンセーターであって、前記締結具カートリッジの上デッキ表面上に底面が配置されるチューブを有し、前記チューブの略全体が前記上デッキ表面よりも上部に位置し、前記チューブが弾力性材料から構成されており、かつ前記チューブが、前記少なくとも1列の締結具空洞に対して実質的に平行である、組織厚さコンペンセーターと、
を含み、少なくとも1つの締結具が、その発射済み位置へと移動する際、前記チューブの一部分を変形させるよう構成されており、
前記チューブは、前記チューブの長手方向に延在する少なくとも1本の管腔を有し、前記少なくとも1本の管腔は、前記チューブの遠位端および近位端を通って継続していて、前記チューブの前記遠位端および前記近位端は開放されている、エンドエフェクタアセンブリ。 - 前記チューブが、組織を治療するための治療薬を含む、請求項14に記載のエンドエフェクタアセンブリ。
- 前記チューブが生体吸収性であり、これによって前記チューブが生体吸収される際に前記治療薬を放出する、請求項15に記載のエンドエフェクタアセンブリ。
- 前記締結具カートリッジ内のスロットの少なくとも一部分に沿って並進するように構成された切断エレメントを更に備え、前記切断エレメント及び前記複数の締結具のうち少なくとも一方が、前記チューブを穿刺するよう構成され、これによって前記治療薬が前記チューブから放出される、請求項15又は16に記載のエンドエフェクタアセンブリ。
