以下に実施例及び比較例を提示して、本発明の不定形耐火物を説明する。なお、本発明は以下の例示に限定されるものではない。
表1において総合評価の高い実施例3について、溶解量50tの55%Al−Zn合金溶解用のAl合金溶解炉のインダクターブロックに施工し、実機使用した。また、対比用として表2の比較例3(従来のアルミナ質不定形耐火物)をインダクターブロックに施工し、同一設備で使用した。比較例3の配合では、平均寿命が8.9ヶ月(サンプル数n=13)であったのに対し、実施例3の配合では、平均寿命が30ヶ月(サンプル数n=3)であった。この結果からも、本発明に係る不定形耐火物が耐用性に優れることが理解できる。
Claims (1)
- 耐火原料と硬化剤とを含む溶融アルミニウム合金用不定形耐火物であって、
SiC原料75〜96質量%、
アルミナセメント2〜10質量%、
非晶質SiO2超微粉1〜8質量%、
上記各成分の総和が100質量%未満である場合に総和が100質量%となる状態に添加される、Al2O3、CaO、ZrO2、MgOから選ばれる1種類以上の耐火原料、からなる主原料と、
前記主原料に添加されるCaF2原料と、
を含み、
前記CaF2原料が、前記SiC原料の4.0質量%以下であって、CaF2原料の外掛け質量%値Aと非晶質SiO2超微粉の質量%値Bとの比(A/B)が0.2≦(A/B)≦2を満足する範囲内で、前記主原料に添加されることを特徴とする溶融アルミニウム合金用不定形耐火物。
