Description
The present invention relates to an electrical junction box having an improved heat dissipation structure.
Conventionally, for example, an electric connection box is used as a module having a function of distributing and controlling electric power from a common power source to various vehicle electrical components in a vehicle. Casing) is known. This electrical junction box uses a metal core substrate as a circuit board, and is fixed to a heat conductive sheet fixed to the first surface of the metal core substrate and a surface of the heat conductive sheet opposite to the fixed surface of the metal core substrate. And heat dissipation components.
Incidentally, electronic components such as relays mounted on the electrical junction box are connected to the circuit board by soldering. When the relay is energized, the relay and the solder joint generate heat, which may cause the temperature of the circuit board to rise locally and cause various problems. For this reason, in order to prevent the malfunction and ensure the reliability of the circuit operation, it is necessary to suppress a local temperature rise around the relay in the electrical junction box.
In the electrical junction box described in Patent Document 1, a metal core substrate is used as a circuit board as a configuration for suppressing a local temperature rise. However, the metal core substrate is more expensive than a glass epoxy substrate or the like, which causes an increase in the manufacturing cost of the electrical junction box. Furthermore, when the electronic component is flow solder mounted on the metal core substrate, an operation such as preheating is required separately, which increases the number of man-hours and further increases the manufacturing cost.
Moreover, since the electrical junction box described in Patent Document 1 is configured to fix the heat sink to the metal core substrate with a heat conductive sheet, it is necessary to work so as not to entrap air bubbles and foreign matters when the heat conductive sheet or the heat sink is attached. Manufacturability is bad.
This invention is completed based on the above situations, and provides the electrical junction box which can suppress that an inside becomes locally high temperature with a simple structure, suppressing the increase in manufacturing cost. For the purpose.
An electrical junction box according to the present invention accommodates a circuit board having a through hole in a case, and is configured by mounting a relay having a relay body and a relay terminal protruding from the relay body on the circuit board. In the junction box, in the case, a heat conduction member including a heat absorption part along the surface of the relay body part on the circuit board side and a heat transfer part extending from the heat absorption part is provided, and the relay terminal is provided. The heat absorption part is fixed in a state of being sandwiched between the relay main body part and the circuit board by passing through the through hole formed in the heat absorption part and the through hole of the circuit board and soldering to the circuit board. A heat radiating member partially exposed outside the case is attached to the heat conducting portion of the heat conducting member in a heat conducting manner, and the relay terminal is a pair of contacts provided in the relay main body. Part A pair of one side relay terminal connected to one of the contact portions and the other side relay terminal connected to the other contact portion, and a pair of the heat conducting members are provided. Among the heat conducting members, the one heat absorbing portion and the other heat absorbing portion constitute a mounting surface on which the relay main body portion can be mounted, and the relay main body portion is the mounting surface described above. By mounting, the one side relay terminal is made to penetrate through one of the through holes of the pair of heat conducting members, and the other side relay terminal is made to penetrate through the other through hole .
According to the present invention, the heat generated when the relay is energized can be radiated to the outside of the case via the heat conducting member and the heat radiating member, and there is no need to use a circuit board that increases the manufacturing cost such as a metal core board. For this reason, it can suppress that the relay periphery becomes high temperature locally, suppressing the increase in manufacturing cost.
In addition, the heat conducting member is sandwiched between the relay body and the circuit board by passing the relay terminal through the through hole formed in the heat absorbing part and the through hole of the circuit board and soldering to the circuit board. Therefore, attachment to the circuit board can be realized with a simple configuration.

As embodiments of the present invention, the following embodiments are preferable.
It is preferable that a part of the solder for soldering the relay terminal to the through hole enters the through hole of the heat conducting member and contacts the heat absorbing portion.
According to said aspect, the heat | fever of the power terminal of a relay can be conducted to a heat conductive member via solder, and heat can be efficiently conducted to a heat conductive member compared with the case via air etc. .
The heat dissipating member is arranged on the opposite side of the circuit board with respect to the relay, and the heat conducting member extends in a direction in which the heat conducting part is orthogonal to the plate surface of the heat absorbing part. preferable.
According to said aspect, since the heat-transfer part is extended in the direction orthogonal to the plate | board surface of a heat absorption part, a heat-transfer part can be reduced compared with the case where it extends in another direction. In addition, the weight and size of the electrical junction box can be reduced.
The heat conducting member is preferably made of a metal material, and the surface of the heat transfer part is preferably covered with a synthetic resin layer.
According to the said aspect, it can suppress that the temperature in the case of an electrical-connection box rises with the heat from the heat-transfer part of a heat conductive member.
According to the electrical junction box of the present invention, it is possible to suppress the inside from being locally heated with a simple configuration while suppressing an increase in manufacturing cost.

The

Next, the procedure for assembling the electrical junction box will be described.
First, components to be surface-mounted such as MOSFET and CPU are placed on the
Then, the position of the through
Further, the other end of the
Further, the
According to this embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.
According to the present embodiment, heat generated when the
Specifically, a method is generally known in which a copper foil provided on a metal core substrate or a circuit board is thickened to dissipate heat from the circuit board while keeping the circuit board soaked. On the other hand, in the present embodiment, a method is adopted in which heat generated in the
Furthermore, when a metal core substrate is employed, its weight is greater than that of a glass epoxy substrate or the like. In addition, in order to efficiently dissipate the soaked heat outside the case, it is preferable to provide a heat dissipating member over a wide area of the substrate. In that case, for example, a large heat conductive sheet or heat sink is required. Is done. For this reason, there exists a possibility that an electrical-connection box may increase in weight and size. On the other hand, according to the present embodiment, the heat generated when the
Further, the
In addition, a part of the
Further, the process of bringing the
Further, since the
Furthermore, since the
<Embodiment 2>
A second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. Here, the aspect of the

<Embodiment 3>
A third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. The difference from the first embodiment is that the
The
According to this embodiment, since the surface of the
