Claims (12)
- 複数のバッテリパックを直列に接続して電源とする電動工具であって、各々のバッテリパックは信号電圧を出力する集積回路を有し、電動工具は、
各々のバッテリパックの集積回路から出力される信号電圧がそれぞれ入力される制御回路と、
少なくとも一つのバッテリパックの集積回路と電動工具の制御回路の間に設けられ、バッテリパックの集積回路が出力する信号電圧のレベルを、電動工具の制御回路が許容するレベルに変圧するレベルシフタと、
を備える電動工具。 - 少なくとも一つのバッテリパックの集積回路と電動工具の制御回路との間に設けられ、両者を電気的に切断する少なくとも一つのカットオフスイッチをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動工具。
- 少なくとも一つのカットオフスイッチは、電動工具の制御回路によって制御されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電動工具。
- 少なくとも一つのバッテリパックの集積回路と電動工具の制御回路の間に設けられ、電動工具の制御回路が出力する信号電圧のレベルを、バッテリパックの集積回路が許容するレベルに変圧する第2のレベルシフタをさらに備え、
電動工具の制御回路が出力する信号電圧が、第2のレベルシフタによって変圧された後に、その少なくとも一つのバッテリパックの集積回路に入力されることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の電動工具。 - バッテリパックの正極出力端子と負極出力端子をダイオードを介して接続するバイパス回路をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の電動工具。
- バイパス回路には、ヒューズがさらに設けられていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の電動工具。
- 複数のバッテリパックを電動工具の本体へ直列に接続するアダプタであって、各々のバッテリパックは信号電圧を出力する集積回路を有し、アダプタは、
各々のバッテリパックの集積回路から出力される信号電圧がそれぞれ入力される制御回路と、
少なくとも一つのバッテリパックの集積回路とアダプタの制御回路の間に設けられ、バッテリパックの集積回路が出力する信号電圧のレベルを、アダプタの制御回路が許容するレベルに変圧するレベルシフタと、
を備えるアダプタ。 - 少なくとも一つのバッテリパックの集積回路とアダプタの制御回路の間に設けられ、電動工具の集積回路が出力する信号電圧のレベルを、バッテリパックの制御回路が許容するレベルに変圧する第2のレベルシフタをさらに備え、
アダプタの制御回路が出力する信号電圧が、第2のレベルシフタによって変圧された後に、その少なくとも一つのバッテリパックの集積回路に入力されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のアダプタ。 - 少なくとも一つのバッテリパックの集積回路とアダプタの制御回路との間に設けられ、両者を電気的に切断する少なくとも一つのカットオフスイッチをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載のアダプタ。
- 少なくとも一つのカットオフスイッチは、アダプタの制御回路によって制御されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のアダプタ。
- バッテリパックの正極出力端子と負極出力端子をダイオードを介して接続するバイパス回路をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項7から10のいずれか一項に記載のアダプタ。
- 前記バイパス回路には、ヒューズがさらに設けられていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のアダプタ。
