Description
更に、応力集中部である凹部の深さを浅くしたり、底部の曲率を小さくするほど応力集中度を小さくすることができ、応力集中度を小さくするほど、応力集中部に施されている応力発光材料が発光するときの輝度を小さくすることができる。
従って、例えば板状体の所定部分を指で押すと、その所定部分に近い位置に形成されている応力集中部の応力発光材料ほど大きな輝度で発光させることができる。また、所定部分を指で押したときの押圧力が強くなるに従って、応力集中部に施されている応力発光材料の発光する範囲が広がるようにすることができる。これによって、表示体に加えられた力の大きさの視認をし易くすることができる。

で表される。この(1)式に示すように、応力集中係数Kは、応力集中部27の深さDが大きいほど大きく、応力集中部27の底の半径ρが小さいほど大きくなる。

Claims (10)
- 互いに間隔を隔てて配置された複数の応力集中部を有する板状体を備え、前記それぞれの応力集中部に応力発光材料が施されている表示体であって、
前記表示体に力を加えると、その力に応じて1又は2以上の前記応力集中部に施されている前記応力発光材料が発光し、
前記応力集中部は、凹部又は空洞部で形成され、それ以外の部分よりも曲率が大きい凹部であり、かつ、
前記複数の応力集中部は、前記板状体の所定部分から離れて位置するものほど、その深さが浅く及び/又は、その底部の曲率が小さいことを特徴とする表示体。 - 前記応力集中部は、薄肉部として形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示体。
- 前記それぞれの応力集中部に施された前記応力発光材料は、前記板状体の表側面に設けられた応力発光部であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の表示体。
- 前記応力発光材料は、前記板状体の母材に混入されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の表示体。
- 前記板状体の母材が透光性を有することを特徴とする請求項4記載の表示体。
- 前記板状体の母材が透光性を有し、
前記それぞれの応力集中部に施された前記応力発光材料は、前記板状体の裏側面に設けられた応力発光部であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の表示体。 - 前記複数の応力集中部のそれぞれの応力集中度が、前記板状体の所定部分から離れるに従って小さくなっていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の表示体。
- 前記所定部分に押圧部又は引っ張り部であることを示す操作表示部が付されていることを特徴とする請求項7記載の表示体。
- 請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の表示体の周縁部が取付け部と結合し、前記表示体は、前記取付け部よりも剛性が小さいことを特徴とする表示体構造。
- 前記表示体と、前記取付け部との境界部に薄肉部を設けたことを特徴とする請求項9記載の表示体構造。
