【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、情報提供装置、移動体端末に情報を提供するプログラムを記録した記録媒体および移動体端末への情報提供方法に関し、特に、位置情報を取得できる移動体端末に情報を提供できる情報提供装置、移動体端末に情報を提供するプログラムを記録した記録媒体および移動体端末への情報提供方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
近年、ＴＣＰ／ＩＰプロトコルで構築されるＷＷＷ（ＷｏｒｌｄＷｉｄｅＷｅｂ）と呼ばれる通信ネットワーク（すなわち、インターネット）において、ユーザに対して、当該ユーザが請求しなくとも、情報端末で広告情報コンテンツや広告情報コンテンツへの広告情報ポインタを配信することがよく行なわれている。これは、ハイパーテキスト情報で構成された広告情報コンテンツを、ＨＴＴＰプロトコルを用いてブラウザで閲覧させる際に、広告情報ポインタを含む電子メールを、ダイレクトメールなどの形で配信する、情報送信システムにより、一般化されている。ここで、広告情報ポインタとは、その部分をクリックすることで、特定のウェブサイトにジャンプする部分であり、アンカータグ、または、リンクキーともいう。

そして、このような、ユーザが請求したもの以外の情報を提供するような従来の情報送信システムとしては、たとえば、特開平８−７６７０６号公報に記載されたシステムを挙げることができる。このシステムでは、ある広告発信源の近傍にある移動体に対してのみ、当該移動体のユーザが要求する前に、広告情報が送信される。

また、上記したような従来の情報送信システムとして、特開平１０−３０７８４５号公報に記載された情報閲覧システムを挙げることができる。このシステムでは、当該システムの利用者がクライアント側で行なった操作の内容とその操作に対応する履歴とに応じて決定されたウェブサイトが、当該利用者に対して推薦される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、特開平８−７６７０６号公報に記載されたシステムでは、広告発信源の近傍にあるすべての移動体に対して、同様の広告情報が発信される。したがって、商品やサービスを必要としないユーザの元へも、当該商品やサービスを必要とするユーザの元に送られるものと同じ広告情報が自動的に発信されることになる。これにより、広告発信源が電気店である場合、衣類を購入しようとして近傍に位置するユーザに対しても、広告発信源は、電気店の広告情報を提供するためのアクションを実行してしまう。換言すれば、広告発信源は、ただ近傍に位置するというだけで、当該広告発信源の広告情報を必要としているかどうかは不明であるユーザにも、広告情報を提供することとなっていた。

また、特開平１０−３０７８４５号公報に記載されたシステムでは、ユーザが閲覧したウェブサイトの履歴に応じて、当該ユーザに適している情報が推薦されるが、それは、システム側が数値に応じて推薦するものであって、必ずしもユーザに適している情報であるとは限らない。

たとえば、ユーザが車に関して興味を持っていた場合を考える。この場合、ユーザは、車に関連したウェブサイトを閲覧することが考えられるため、その閲覧履歴から、当該ユーザが車に関して興味を持っているという嗜好を抽出することはできる。しかし、ユーザにＡ社の車についての興味があっても、当該ユーザに、Ａ社だけでなく、Ｂ社の車についての情報も、配信されることが考えられた。

つまり、従来では、たとえユーザの位置情報を利用して当該ユーザが請求した以外の情報を提供できても、当該ユーザが請求した以外の情報は、必ずしも、当該ユーザの本当に望む情報とは限らなかった。

この一方で、広告主等の情報を提供する側は、当該情報を有効に活用できるユーザには、ユーザの請求がなくとも情報を送信することを希望している。

本発明は、かかる実情に鑑み考え出されたものであり、その目的は、情報を有効に活用できる位置にあり、かつ、当該情報を有効に活用できるユーザに対して、当該ユーザの請求がなくとも当該情報を送信できる、情報提供装置、移動体端末に情報を提供するプログラムを記録した記録媒体および移動体端末への情報提供方法を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明のある局面に従った情報提供装置は、移動体端末が広告情報の提供を要求したことに応じて、前記移動体端末の位置情報を要求する位置情報要求部と、前記広告情報に対応させて、前記移動体端末について前記広告情報を提供されることが有効である地域に関する情報である地域情報、および、前記広告情報に関連した情報である広告関連情報を記憶する情報記憶部と、前記移動体端末の位置情報により規定される位置が前記地域情報により規定される地域に含まれる場合に、前記移動体端末に前記広告関連情報を送信し、かつ、前記広告情報の広告主に、前記移動体端末の位置情報を送信する広告関連情報送信部とを含むことを特徴とする。

本発明によると、広告情報の提供を要求した移動体端末に対して、当該移動体端末の位置が広告情報の提供に有効である地域に含まれることを条件として、広告関連情報が送信される。つまり、移動体端末に直接要求されていない情報である広告関連情報は、広告情報の提供が有効である地域内に位置する移動体端末にのみ、送信される。また、当該移動体端末の位置が広告情報の提供に有効である地域に含まれることを条件として、広告情報の広告主に移動体端末の位置情報が送信される。

したがって、情報提供装置は、広告関連情報について、当該情報を有効に活用できる位置にあり、かつ、当該情報を有効に活用できるユーザに対して、当該ユーザの請求がなくとも当該情報を送信することができる。また、広告主は、移動体端末が誘導させたい場所に到着する時間や、これから到着するであろうユーザの数を事前に把握することができる。

本発明の他の局面に従った情報提供装置は、移動体端末が広告情報の提供を要求したことに応じて、前記移動体端末の位置情報を要求する位置情報要求部と、前記広告情報に対応させて、前記移動体端末について前記広告情報を提供されることが有効である地域に関する情報である地域情報、および、前記広告情報に関連した情報である広告関連情報を記憶する情報記憶部と、前記移動体端末の位置情報により規定される位置が前記地域情報により規定される地域に含まれる場合に、前記移動体端末に前記広告関連情報を送信し、かつ、前記広告情報の広告主に、前記移動体端末と前記広告主との相対位置についての情報を送信する広告関連情報送信部とを含むことを特徴とする。

本発明によると、広告情報の提供を要求した移動体端末に対して、当該移動体端末の位置が広告情報の提供に有効である地域に含まれることを条件として、広告関連情報が送信される。つまり、移動体端末に直接要求されていない情報である広告関連情報は、広告情報の提供が有効である地域内に位置する移動体端末にのみ、送信される。また、当該移動体端末の位置が広告情報の提供に有効である地域に含まれることを条件として、広告情報の広告主に当該広告主と移動体端末との相対位置についての情報が送信される。
したがって、情報提供装置は、広告関連情報について、当該情報を有効に活用できる位置にあり、かつ、当該情報を有効に活用できるユーザに対して、当該ユーザの請求がなくとも当該情報を送信することができる。
また、広告主は、広告情報に関心を持ったユーザとの相対位置を認識できる。したがって、ユーザが、当該広告主の元を訪れたとしても、広告主は、そのことについて、事前に対応することができる。

また、本発明に従った情報提供装置は、前記広告関連情報は、前記移動体端末と、前記広告情報の広告主との相対位置についての情報を含むことが好ましい。

本発明に従った移動体端末に情報を提供するプログラムを記録する記録媒体は、コンピュータによって、移動体端末に情報を提供するプログラムを記録する記録媒体であって、前記移動体端末が、広告情報の提供を要求したことに応じて、前記移動体端末の位置情報を要求し、前記広告情報に対応させて、前記移動体端末に前記広告情報を提供されることが有効である地域に関する情報である地域情報、および、前記広告情報に関連した情報である広告関連情報を記憶し、前記移動体端末の位置情報により規定される位置が、前記地域情報により規定される地域内にある場合、前記移動体端末に、前記広告関連情報を提供し、かつ、前記広告情報の広告主に、前記移動体端末の位置情報を提供することを特徴とする。

本発明に従った移動体端末への情報提供方法は、移動体端末が、広告情報の提供を要求したことに応じて、前記移動体端末の位置情報を要求し、前記広告情報に対応させて、前記移動体端末に前記広告情報を提供されることが有効である地域に関する情報である地域情報、および、前記広告情報に関連した情報である広告関連情報を記憶し、前記移動体端末の位置情報により規定される位置が、前記地域情報により規定される地域内にある場合、前記移動体端末に、前記広告関連情報を提供し、かつ、前記広告情報の広告主に、前記移動体端末の位置情報を提供することを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態である、広告情報システムについて説明する。

［第一の実施の形態］
図１は、本発明の第一の実施の形態である広告情報システムの構成を示す図である。

本実施の形態の広告情報システムは、主に、広告情報を提供する広告情報サービス１０４と、広告情報を提供される移動体端末１０２と、移動体端末１０２の位置情報を提供する位置情報サービス１０５と、情報提供装置１０７とから構成される。以下、さらに詳細に、広告情報システムについて、説明する。

移動体端末１０２は、ユーザ１０１とともに移動する。移動体端末１０２としては、パソコン、携帯情報端末（ＰＤＡ）、ブラウザ搭載の携帯電話／ＰＨＳを挙げることができる。ユーザ１０１は、本システムにより、広告情報の提供というサービスを受ける対象となる。

移動体端末１０２は、ＧＰＳや携帯電話会社のサービスの利用によって、その位置情報を提供される。つまり、たとえば、移動体端末１０２がＧＰＳ（Global Positioning System）を搭載している場合、位置情報サービス１０５は、人工衛星からの電波を受信して移動体端末１０２の緯度経度を測定し、現在位置の地図上に表示するシステムである。また、移動体端末１０２がＰＨＳの場合、位置情報サービス１０５は、移動体端末１０２がどの基地局のエリアに存在するかを提供するＰＨＳ会社である。また、移動体端末１０２が携帯電話の場合、位置情報サービス１０５は、移動体端末１０２の存在する基地局の情報と当該基地局からの距離情報をとを含む位置情報を提供できる携帯電話会社である。

広告情報サービス１０４は、ユーザ１０１の移動体端末１０２に広告情報を提供するサービスである。詳しくは、広告情報サービス１０４は、通信ネットワーク１０６を介して、移動体端末１０２に、広告主１０３の広告情報コンテンツや、広告情報コンテンツへのポインタ情報を含む広告情報ポインタを配信する。そして、移動体端末１０２で広告情報ポインタを受信したユーザ１０１が、当該移動体端末１０２にインストールされているブラウザを利用してアクセスしてきた際に、広告情報サービス１０４は、当該広告情報コンテンツを、移動体端末１０２に、当該ブラウザを利用して表示させる。

広告情報ポインタとしては、たとえばアンカータグを挙げることができる。つまり、この場合、移動体端末１０２に表示されたアンカータグに対して操作を行なうことにより、当該移動体端末１０２に、当該アンカータグに対応する広告情報コンテンツが送信される。なお、広告情報ポインタは、アンカータグに限定されず、フォームタグやクリッカブルマップも、広告情報ポインタに含まれる。

情報提供装置１０７は、移動体端末１０２で広告情報サービス１０４を利用しているユーザ１０１に対して、位置情報サービス１０５の提供する移動体端末１０２の位置情報を元に、広告主１０３の付加情報を配信する。情報提供装置１０７は、位置情報取得部１０８、付加情報提供部１０９、制御部１１０、リクエスト受付部１１１、および、データベース１１２を含む。付加情報とは、広告主１０３自体の情報であり、たとえば、広告主１０３が店舗である場合、当該店舗の位置等を含むが、詳細は、後述する。

位置情報取得部１０８は、通信ネットワーク１０６を介して、位置情報サービス１０５から、移動体端末１０２の位置情報を取得する。付加情報提供部１０９は、取得した位置情報を元に、付加情報を、移動体端末１０２に提供する。制御部１１０は、情報提供装置１０７の動作を全体的に制御する。リクエスト受付部１１１は、広告情報サービス１０４からの要求を受付ける。データベース１１２は、当該付加情報を格納する。

図１に記載されたシステムを、より具体的に例を挙げて説明すると、たとえば携帯電話およびブラウザを搭載したＧＰＳ端末からなる移動体端末１０２が、広告情報サービス１０４のＳＭＴＰサーバから、広告情報コンテンツに対する広告情報ポインタを含む電子メールを、ダイレクトメールとして受信する。ユーザ１０１は、移動体端末１０２のブラウザを利用して、広告情報ポインタで示される広告情報コンテンツへのアクセスを行なう。このアクセスは、ハイパーテキスト情報で構成された広告情報コンテンツを提供するＨＴＴＰサーバへのアクセスとなる。広告情報サービス１０４は、ユーザ１０１が、移動体端末１０２を介して広告情報コンテンツへのアクセスがあったことを検出すると、インターネット上に存在する情報提供装置１０７にアクセスして、付加情報を移動体端末１０２に提供する。

付加情報テーブルには、複数の広告情報ポインタ（広告情報ポインタ１〜Ｎ）についての情報が含まれる。具体的には、付加情報テーブルでは、地域情報、商品情報、および、補足情報を含む種々の情報が、各広告情報ポインタに対応付けられている。地域情報、商品情報、および、補足情報を含む種々の情報により、付加情報が構成される。そして、地域情報とは、広告主１０３の店舗等が存在する地域についての情報である。商品情報とは、当該店舗等で販売可能な商品の在庫数や価格の一覧である。なお、付加情報には、付加情報を、移動体端末１０２に配信するか否かを含む情報も含まれる。

本実施の形態では、広告情報コンテンツにより、広告情報が構成されている。そして、付加情報の中の、地域情報以外の情報により、広告情報に関連した情報である広告関連情報が構成されている。

本実施の形態のシステムでは、まず、広告情報サービス１０４は、Ｓ１で、広告主１０３の用意した広告情報コンテンツに対応する広告情報ポインタを、電子メール等の形で、移動体端末１０２に配信する。

そして、広告情報サービス１０４は、Ｓ２で、移動体端末１０２において、配信された広告情報ポインタ選択する操作がなされたか否かを判断する。

当該操作がなされたと判断すると、広告情報サービス１０４は、Ｓ３で、移動体端末１０２に、選択された広告情報ポインタに対応した広告情報コンテンツを、移動体端末１０２に配信する。また、広告情報サービス１０４は、Ｓ４で、移動体端末１０２から広告情報コンテンツに対してアクセスのあったことを、通信ネットワーク１０６を介して、情報提供装置１０７のリクエスト受付部１１１に通知する。このとき、リクエスト受付部１１１には、移動体端末１０２から、どの広告情報ポインタに対してアクセスがあったかについての情報も通知される。

一方、情報提供装置１０７では、制御部１１０は、Ｓ５で、広告情報サービス１０４からリクエスト受付部１１１に上記の通知がなされたか否かを判断し、上記の通知がなされたと判断すると、Ｓ６に進む。

Ｓ６で、制御部１１０は、位置情報取得部１０８に、通信ネットワーク１０６を介して、位置情報サービス１０５に対して、移動体端末１０２の位置情報を要求させる。なお、位置情報取得部１０８から位置情報サービス１０５に対して送られる情報の中には、移動体端末１０２を特定するための情報も含まれる。

位置情報サービス１０５は、位置情報取得部１０８からの要求に応じて、特定の移動体端末１０２についての位置情報を、位置情報取得部１０８に送る。

Ｓ９で、制御部１１０は、データベース１１２内の表１を参照して、位置情報サービス１０５から取得した移動体端末１０２の位置が、現在対象としている広告情報ポインタに対応する地域情報で規定される地域内に含まれるか否かを判断する。現在対象としている広告情報ポインタとは、広告情報サービス１０４からＳ４で送信された、移動体端末１０２において操作がなされた広告情報ポインタである。そして、制御部１１０は、移動体端末１０２の位置が上記の地域内に含まれると判断すると、Ｓ１０に進み、含まれないと判断すると、処理を終了する。

そして、制御部１１０は、Ｓ１０で、現在対象としている広告情報ポインタに対応する付加情報を、データベース１１２から呼出し、付加情報提供部１０９に当該付加情報を、移動体端末１０２に送信させて、処理を終了する。

［第二の実施の形態］
次に、本発明の第二の実施の形態について説明する。

本実施の形態の広告情報システムの構成要素は、第一の実施の形態と同じである。つまり、本実施の形態の広告情報システムは、図１に示した構成となっている。ただし、本実施の形態では、システム中の一部の構成要素について、第一の実施の形態とはその動作が異なっている。ここでは、第一の実施の形態との相違点を中心に説明する。

本実施の形態では、データベース１１２には、広告情報ポインタの付加情報として、表２に示す情報が格納されている。

表２では、各広告情報ポインタに対して、表１に示した基本情報に加えて、地図情報、経路情報および距離情報が含まれている。なお、基本情報とは、表１に示した、地域情報、商品情報、および補足情報等である。また、地図情報とは、地域情報によって規定される地域の地図に対応する情報である。また、経路情報とは、地図情報が示す地域において、ユーザ１０１を誘導させたい場所（店舗等）までの経路に関する情報である。また、距離情報とは、移動体端末１０２と当該ユーザ１０１を誘導させたい場所までの距離や時間などに関する情報である。

次に、本実施の形態におけるシステムの動作をより具体的に説明する。図４は、本実施の形態の広告情報サービス１０４、および、情報提供装置１０７の制御部１１０の実行する処理のフローチャートである。

まず、広告情報サービス１０４は、第一の実施の形態と同様に、Ｓ１〜Ｓ４の処理を実行する。

本実施の形態のＳ２０で配信される付加情報は、第一の実施の形態で配信される情報に加えて、ユーザ１０２の現在位置と誘導させたい位置までの経路を地図上で示すような情報、および、ユーザ１０２の現在位置から誘導させたい位置までの距離や所要時間などの情報を含む。

なお、上記の経路を地図上で示すような情報は、位置情報サービス１０５から取得した移動体端末１０２の位置情報と、データベース１１２に格納されている誘導させた位置の情報と、表２に示す地図情報とから生成される。また、上記の距離や所要時間などの情報は、上記の経路を地図上で示す情報に基づいて作成される。

本実施の形態では、移動体端末１０２が地域情報に規定される地域内に存在する場合、当該移動体端末１０２に対して、商品情報等とともに、店舗等誘導したい場所までの経路と所要時間が配信される。なお、このような情報の送信は、移動体端末１０２が、誘導したい場所に到着するまで、または、地域情報に規定される地域外に移動するまで、継続される。
