Description

本発明は画像管理装置及び方法に係り、特に複数人で共有する画像管理装置内に保存される画像をユーザ毎に管理する技術に関する。
デジタルカメラ等の機器で撮影された画像などのプライベートなデータを保管する個人用記憶装置（パソコン内のハードディスク装置など）を、家族など複数人で共有する場合、他人に閲覧されないようにする仕組みが必要である。
パソコンのようにオペレーションシステム（ＯＳ）がユーザ毎にマシンをどこまで自由に使えるかを管理している場合はよいが、最近はＨＤＤ／ＤＶＤレコーダなどのようなユーザ管理をしていない機器にもデジタルカメラで撮影された画像を保存することができるようになっており、現状は保存された画像は誰でも閲覧できる状態になっている。
従来、保存された画像ファイルを管理する方法として、メモリカードなどの各記憶媒体に記録されたユニークな識別情報を使用して記憶領域を分類し、アクセス管理をする方法がある（特許文献１）。
また、携帯端末においては、ＳＩＭカード（Subscriber Identity Module Card)のような着脱自在な記憶媒体（ＩＣカード等）に記録された識別情報（加入者情報）を使用して、端末内の記憶領域を分類し、アクセス管理する方法がある（特許文献２）。

特許文献１に記載の方法は、複数人が同じ記録媒体を使用する場合には適用できず、一般に、家族内では同じデジタルカメラ及び同じ記録媒体を使用するのが通常である。
また、特許文献２に記載の方法の場合、着脱自在な記憶媒体は使用できる機器に制限があり（例えば、ＳＩＭカードは携帯電話の限定された機種のみ使用可能）、他の機器への併用ができないという問題がある。
本発明はこのような事情に鑑みてなされたもので、簡単な操作で複数のユーザのプライベートな画像を容易に保存管理することができ、他人からの画像の閲覧や使用を制限することができる画像管理装置及び方法を提供することを目的とする。
前記目的を達成するために請求項１に係る画像管理装置は、画像を取り込む画像取込手段と、画像を保存する画像保存手段と、ユーザ毎にユニークなユーザ識別情報が記録された非接触ＩＣカードから非接触でユーザ識別情報を読み取るユーザ識別情報読取手段と、前記ユーザ識別情報読取手段がユーザ識別情報を読み取り、かつ読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ固有の画像フォルダが未作成のときに、前記画像保存手段内に前記ユーザ固有の画像フォルダを自動的に作成するフォルダ作成手段と、前記ユーザ識別情報読取手段がユーザ識別情報を読み取り、かつ前記画像取込手段を介して画像を取り込むと、その取り込んだ画像を前記読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応する画像フォルダに格納させる画像格納制御手段と、前記ユーザ識別情報読取手段がユーザ識別情報を読み取り、かつ読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応する画像フォルダに画像が格納されていると、その画像フォルダ内の画像を出力可能にする画像出力制御手段と、前記ユーザ識別情報読取手段が読み取ったユーザ識別情報から暗号キーを生成する暗号キー生成手段と、前記ユーザ識別情報読取手段が読み取ったユーザ識別情報から復号キーを生成する復号キー生成手段と、を備え、前記画像格納制御手段は、前記暗号キー生成手段によって生成された暗号キーに基づいて前記画像取込手段から取り込んだ画像を暗号化して対応する画像フォルダに格納させ、前記画像出力制御手段は、前記復号キー生成手段によって生成された復号キーに基づいて前記ユーザ識別情報に対応する画像フォルダに暗号化されて格納された画像を復号化して出力可能にすることを特徴としている。
本発明に係る画像管理装置は、例えば家族などで共用され、各ユーザの画像をユーザ固有の画像フォルダに簡単な操作で格納することができ、また、他人からはプライベートな画像を閲覧されないようにすることができるもので、画像の登録や閲覧時に各ユーザが所持している非接触ＩＣカードに記録されているユーザ識別情報を読み取ることによりログインし、ログアウトや電源が切られるまでは、ログインしたユーザの専用機として機能する。即ち、あるユーザが所有している非接触ＩＣカードからユーザ識別情報を読み取ると、その読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ固有の画像フォルダが作成されていない場合には、ユーザ固有の画像フォルダを自動的に作成し、その画像フォルダへの画像の格納や画像フォルダに格納された画像の出力（閲覧のための表示手段への出力やプリンタへの出力）が可能になる。従って、あるユーザは、他のユーザが所持している非接触ＩＣカードを使用しない限り、他のユーザの画像フォルダにはアクセスすることができず、プライベートな画像が他のユーザに閲覧されることがない。
また、各ユーザの画像フォルダに格納された画像は、読み取ったユーザ識別情報から生成された暗号キーによって暗号化されているため、よりセキュリティを高くすることができる。尚、復号キー生成手段は、暗号キー生成手段と同一のものでもよく、この場合、暗号キーと復号キーは同一のものとなる。
請求項２に示すように請求項１に記載の画像管理装置において、前記画像取込手段は、画像を無線又は有線で通信して取り込む通信手段、画像が記録された記録媒体を介して該記録媒体から画像を読み取る画像読取手段、及び画像を撮像して取り込む撮像手段のうちの少なくとも１つを含むことを特徴としている。
請求項３に示すように請求項１に記載の画像管理装置において、前記非接触ＩＣカードは、ユーザの携帯機器に内蔵されたものを含むことを特徴としている。
請求項４に係る画像管理方法は、ユーザ毎にユニークなユーザ識別情報が記録された非接触ＩＣカードから非接触でユーザ識別情報を読み取る工程と、前記読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ固有の画像フォルダが画像保存手段内に作成されているか否かを判別し、未作成の場合には前記ユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ固有の画像フォルダを自動的に作成する工程と、画像取込手段を介して取り込んだ画像を前記画像保存手段に保存する際に、前記読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ固有の画像フォルダに前記取り込んだ画像を格納させる工程であって、前記読み取ったユーザ識別情報に基づいて暗号キーを生成し、この暗号キーに基づいて前記取り込んだ画像を暗号化した画像を格納させる工程と、前記画像保存手段に保存された画像を出力させる際に、前記ユーザ識別情報を読み取ると、該読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ固有の画像フォルダに格納された画像を出力させる工程であって、前記読み取ったユーザ識別情報に基づいて復号キーを生成し、この復号キーに基づいて前記画像フォルダに暗号化されて格納された画像を復号化して出力させる工程と、を含むことを特徴としている。
本発明によれば、各ユーザが所持しているユーザ固有の非接触ＩＣカードを活用し、この非接触ＩＣカードからユーザ識別情報を読み取らせるだけの簡単な操作で複数のユーザのプライベートな画像を容易に保存管理するこができ、他人からの画像の閲覧や使用を制限することができる。
以下添付図面に従って本発明に係る画像管理装置及び方法の好ましい実施の形態について詳説する。
図１は本発明に係る画像管理装置の実施の形態を示す外観図であり、図２は画像管理装置１００の内部構成を示すブロック図である。
図１及び図２に示すように、この画像管理装置１００は、例えば家族で共用し、各自のプライベートな画像を保存管理するもので、ＩＣカードリーダ１０２及びカードアクセス制御部１０４と、メモリカードスロット１１０及びメモリカード制御部１１２を含むメモリカードリーダ／ライタと、ＵＳＢコネクタ１２０及びＵＳＢ制御部１２２を含む有線通信手段と、電波や赤外線等による無線通信制御部１３０と、表示装置２００に画像を表示させる表示制御部１４０と、メモリ１５０と、ハードディスク１６０及びハードディスクドライブ１６２と、暗号化制御部１７０と、操作キー１８０と、装置内の各部を統括制御するための中央処理装置（ＣＰＵ）１９０とから構成されている。
ＩＣカードリーダ１０２は、カードアクセス制御部１０４によって制御され、非接触ＩＣカードからユーザ識別情報を非接触で読み取り、この読み取ったユーザ識別情報をＣＰＵ１９０に出力する。尚、このＩＣカードリーダ１０２は、ＩＣカードリーダ１０２の近傍の非接触ＩＣカード以外との通信（読取）を行わない通信距離（例えば、数１０センチ以内）のものが適用される。また、非接触ＩＣカードとしては、例えば、ＪＲ東日本のSuica （スイカ）、ソニー株式会社が開発したFeliCa（フェリカ）、その他、社員カードなどが適用でき、また、携帯電話に埋め込まれ電子マネーとして使用可能な非接触ＩＣカードも適用できる。図１は携帯電話２１０に埋め込まれた非接触ＩＣカードからユーザ識別情報を読み取っている状態に関して示している。
メモリカードリーダ／ライタは、メモリカードスロット１１０に挿入されたメモリカードから画像を読み書きし、有線通信手段は、ＵＳＢコネクタ１２０に接続された機器（例えば、デジタルカメラ、カメラ付き携帯電話、携帯情報端末機（ＰＤＡ）、モバイルパソコンなどの画像を保有する機器）と通信して画像を取り込み、また、無線通信手段は、画像を保有する機器と無線通信して画像を取り込む。尚、無線通信手段としては、ＵＷＢ無線通信手段、ブルートゥース規格の無線通信手段、ＩｒＤＡ規格の赤外線無線通信手段などが適用できる。
メモリ１５０には、画像管理装置のファームウエアやユーザ管理情報などが保存され、ハードディスクドライブ１６２によって駆動されるハードディスク１６０には、ユーザの画像が保存される。
暗号化制御部１７０は、非接触ＩＣカードから読み取ったユーザ識別情報に基づいて暗号キーや復号キーを生成する生成手段を含み、ユーザの画像をハードディスク１６０に保存する際に前記生成した暗号キーによって暗号化し、また、ハードディスク１６０から暗号化された画像を読み出して復号する際に復号キーによって復号化する。尚、暗号化制御部１７０による暗号方式は、秘密キー暗号方式、公開キー暗号方式のいずれでもよいが、この実施の形態では、暗号キーと復号キーとを同一にし、これらのキーの両方を秘密にする暗号方式としている。
操作キー１８０は、電源スイッチや画像再生、編集時などに操作されるボタン群を含み、この操作キー１８０の操作情報を入力するＣＰＵ１９０は、操作入力により所望の画像をハードディスク１６０から読み出し、その画像を表示制御部１４０を介して表示装置２００に表示させたり、図示しないプリンタなどに出力させる。
次に、この画像管理装置１００に画像を取り込む場合について説明する。
図３において、ユーザが自分の画像を画像管理装置１００に取り込む場合には、まず、画像管理装置１００の電源をＯＮにした後、ユーザ所有の非接触ＩＣカード（非接触ＩＣカードを内蔵した携帯電話を含む）をＩＣカードリーダ１０２に近づけて非接触ＩＣカードに記録されているユーザ識別情報を読み取らせる（ステップＳ１０）。
画像管理装置１００のＣＰＵ１９０は、ＩＣカードリーダ１０２及びカードアクセス制御部１０４を介して非接触ＩＣカードからユーザ識別情報を取得する（ステップＳ１２）。
ＣＰＵ１９０は、前記取得したユーザ識別情報が登録されているか否かを判別し（ステップＳ１４）、未登録の場合にはユーザ登録を行う（ステップＳ１６）。
ステップＳ１６でのユーザ登録処理は、図４に示すように非接触ＩＣカードから取得したユーザ識別情報と、そのユーザ専用のユーザ用フォルダ名とを関連付けてユーザ管理テーブルに登録する。
既にユーザ登録されている場合、又はステップＳ１６でユーザ登録が行われると、ＣＰＵ１９０は、ユーザ識別情報から対応するユーザ用フォルダ名を取得する（ステップＳ１８）。
続いて、ＣＰＵ１９０は、非接触ＩＣカードから取得したユーザ識別情報を暗号化制御部１７０に出力し、ここでユーザ識別情報から暗号キーを生成させ（ステップＳ２０）、また、ステップＳ１８で取得したユーザ用フォルダ名に対応するフォルダが、ハードディスク１６０内に存在するか否かの検索を行う（ステップＳ２２）。
ステップＳ２４において、ユーザ用フォルダ名に対応するフォルダがハードディスク１６０内に存在すると判別されると、画像データを取り込むステップＳ３２に進み、ユーザ用フォルダ名に対応するフォルダがハードディスク１６０内に存在していないと判別されると、ユーザ用フォルダ名に対応するフォルダをハードディスク１６０内に生成した後（ステップＳ２６）、ステップＳ２８に進む。
尚、ステップＳ２６では、ステップＳ１８で取得したユーザ用フォルダ名に対応するユーザ固有のフォルダをハードディスク１６０内に生成する。即ち、図５に示すツリー構造をもったフォルダを生成する。
ステップＳ２８では、ユーザの画像をメモリカードリーダ／ライタ、ＵＳＢ通信手段、又は無線通信手段を介して取り込む。このようにして取り込んだユーザの画像データは、ステップＳ２０で生成された暗号キーに基づいて暗号化された後（ステップＳ３０）、ユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ用フォルダに保存される（ステップＳ３２）。
即ち、この画像管理装置１００に画像データを保存する場合には、ユーザ所有の非接触ＩＣカードのユーザ識別情報をＩＣカードリーダ１０２に読み取らせるとともに、デジタルカメラやメモリカードからユーザの画像データを読み取らせることにより、ユーザ固有のユーザ用フォルダに画像データを暗号化して保存することができる。
尚、ユーザ用フォルダに画像データを保存する際に、図５に示すようにユーザが閲覧しやすいように撮影日毎にフォルダを分けて格納する。撮影日は画像ファイルのヘッダーに記録された撮影日を利用することができる。
次に、画像管理装置１００に保存した画像を閲覧する場合について説明する。尚、図３に示したフローチャートと共通する部分には、同一のステップ番号を付し、その詳細な説明は省略する。
画像取り込み時と同様に、ユーザ所有の非接触ＩＣカードに記録されたユーザ識別情をＩＣカードリーダ１０２で読み取らせることにより、そのユーザの画像の閲覧を可能にする。
即ち、ステップＳ２０’では、ユーザ識別情報から復号キーを生成する。尚、この実施の形態では、暗号キーと復号キーとを同一としているため、ステップＳ２０’での処理は、図３に示したステップＳ２０の処理と同一である。
非接触ＩＣカードから読み取ったユーザ識別情報に基づいてそのユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ用フォルダ名のフォルダがハードディスク１６０に存在するか否かを検索し、フォルダが存在する場合には、そのフォルダから画像データを読み出し、ステップＳ２０’で生成した復号キーにて復号化する（ステップＳ４０）。復号化された画像データは、表示装置２００に出力され、ここに表示される（ステップＳ４２）。
尚、表示装置２００に所望の画像を表示させるための手順としては、図７（Ａ）に示すようにユーザ用フォルダ内に撮影日毎にフォルダ分けされた、各フォルダを表示させる。各フォルダには代表画像（例えば、フォルダ内の先頭画像）が貼り付けられるとともに、選択されているフォルダには撮影日が表示されるようになっている。
ユーザ用フォルダ内の撮影日毎のフォルダから所望のフォルダを選択し、そのフォルダを開くと、図７（Ｂ）に示すように選択したフォルダ内の画像のインデックス画像（サムネイル画像の一覧）が表示される。ユーザはこのインデックス画像から所望の画像を選択し、拡大表示を指示することにより、図７（Ｃ）に示すように所望の画像を表示させることができる。尚、このような所望の画像を表示させるための操作は、操作キー１８０と表示装置２００の画面とを使用して行うことができる。また、操作キー１８０の操作によるコマ送り再生や、自動再生（スライドショー再生）も行うことができる。
この実施の形態では、画像取り込みの処理と画像閲覧の処理とを、図３及び図６に示したフローチャートを用いて別々に説明したが、これらの処理は同時に行うことができる。即ち、非接触ＩＣカードからユーザ識別情報を読み取ると、ユーザ用フォルダが存在する場合には、そのフォルダ内の画像の閲覧が可能となり、このとき、デジタルカメラ等が画像管理装置１００と接続されて画像の取り込みが可能な状態になっている場合には、画像を表示した状態でバックグランドで画像の自動取り込みが行われる。
この画像管理装置１００は、非接触ＩＣカードからユーザ識別情報を読み取らせることにより、そのユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ用フォルダにログインさせることができ、その後、ログアウト又は電源をＯＦＦにするまで、ユーザ用フォルダ内の画像を自由に操作することができ、また、ユーザ識別情報の変更なども可能になっている。
また、この実施の形態の画像管理装置１００と、画像を撮像して取り込む撮像手段とを組み合わせてデジタルカメラを構成してもよく、この場合には、デジタルカメラに非接触ＩＣカードに記録されているユーザ識別情報を読み取らせることにより、撮像手段で取り込んだ画像を、そのユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ用フォルダに保存させることができる。このように構成したデジタルカメラの場合には、複数人で共有しても自分が撮影した画像を他人に閲覧されないようにすることができる。
また、画像管理装置１００に保存される画像は、静止画に限らず、動画でもよい。

Claims (4)

  1. 画像を取り込む画像取込手段と、
    画像を保存する画像保存手段と、
    ユーザ毎にユニークなユーザ識別情報が記録された非接触ＩＣカードから非接触でユーザ識別情報を読み取るユーザ識別情報読取手段と、
    前記ユーザ識別情報読取手段がユーザ識別情報を読み取り、かつ読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ固有の画像フォルダが未作成のときに、前記画像保存手段内に前記ユーザ固有の画像フォルダを自動的に作成するフォルダ作成手段と、
    前記ユーザ識別情報読取手段がユーザ識別情報を読み取り、かつ前記画像取込手段を介して画像を取り込むと、その取り込んだ画像を前記読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応する画像フォルダに格納させる画像格納制御手段と、
    前記ユーザ識別情報読取手段がユーザ識別情報を読み取り、かつ読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応する画像フォルダに画像が格納されていると、その画像フォルダ内の画像を出力可能にする画像出力制御手段と、
    前記ユーザ識別情報読取手段が読み取ったユーザ識別情報から暗号キーを生成する暗号キー生成手段と、
    前記ユーザ識別情報読取手段が読み取ったユーザ識別情報から復号キーを生成する復号キー生成手段と、を備え、
    前記画像格納制御手段は、前記暗号キー生成手段によって生成された暗号キーに基づいて前記画像取込手段から取り込んだ画像を暗号化して対応する画像フォルダに格納させ、
    前記画像出力制御手段は、前記復号キー生成手段によって生成された復号キーに基づいて前記ユーザ識別情報に対応する画像フォルダに暗号化されて格納された画像を復号化して出力可能にすることを特徴とする画像管理装置。
  2. 前記画像取込手段は、画像を無線又は有線で通信して取り込む通信手段、画像が記録された記録媒体を介して該記録媒体から画像を読み取る画像読取手段、及び画像を撮像して取り込む撮像手段のうちの少なくとも１つを含むことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の画像管理装置。
  3. 前記非接触ＩＣカードは、ユーザの携帯機器に内蔵されたものを含むことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の画像管理装置。
  4. ユーザ毎にユニークなユーザ識別情報が記録された非接触ＩＣカードから非接触でユーザ識別情報を読み取る工程と、
    前記読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ固有の画像フォルダが画像保存手段内に作成されているか否かを判別し、未作成の場合には前記ユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ固有の画像フォルダを自動的に作成する工程と、
    画像取込手段を介して取り込んだ画像を前記画像保存手段に保存する際に、前記読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ固有の画像フォルダに前記取り込んだ画像を格納させる工程であって、前記読み取ったユーザ識別情報に基づいて暗号キーを生成し、この暗号キーに基づいて前記取り込んだ画像を暗号化した画像を格納させる工程と、
    前記画像保存手段に保存された画像を出力させる際に、前記ユーザ識別情報を読み取ると、該読み取ったユーザ識別情報に対応するユーザ固有の画像フォルダに格納された画像を出力させる工程であって、前記読み取ったユーザ識別情報に基づいて復号キーを生成し、この復号キーに基づいて前記画像フォルダに暗号化されて格納された画像を復号化して出力させる工程と、
    を含むことを特徴とする画像管理方法。
