本発明は、薬剤包装装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、薬剤包装装置として、種類の異なる錠剤毎に収容される複数の錠剤フィーダを備えた錠剤供給部と、該錠剤供給部から供給される錠剤を回収して順次包装する錠剤包装部とを備えた構成のものが公知である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前記薬剤包装装置では、包装動作中に停電等により異常停止したり、強制的に緊急停止する等の非通常停止時、現状復帰するために、所定箇所に錠剤が残っているか否かをチェックして、残っていればその錠剤を人手により回収する必要がある。これは、非通常停止では、制御装置のメモリ(RAM)がクリアされてしまうため、制御装置で、供給あるいは包装中の錠剤の種類、量及び残留位置の把握できなくなるからである。

特に、このような復旧作業は、頻繁に行われるものでもないため、チェック箇所に漏れが生じやすい。

そこで、本発明は、非通常停止時の復旧を自動かつ確実に行うことのできる薬剤包装装置を提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、前記課題を解決するための手段として、
薬剤供給部から供給される錠剤を順次薬剤包装部にて包装する薬剤包装装置において、
前記薬剤供給部から薬剤包装部に供給する薬剤を一旦貯留する薬剤投入ホッパーを取外し可能に設け、非通常停止後に再起動させる前に、薬剤供給経路の途中に残留する薬剤を、前記薬剤投入ホッパーに回収させる制御手段を備えたものである。
なお、前記薬剤供給部には、手動供給装置を含んでいてもよい。

この構成により、非通常停止後、再起動前に、薬剤包装部を駆動することなく、薬剤投入ホッパーにより薬剤供給経路の途中に残留する薬剤を回収することが可能となる。この場合、薬剤投入ホッパーには、同一薬剤のみをまとめて回収するのが好ましい。

前記薬剤投入ホッパーに回収する薬剤は、1包分ずつとしてもよいし、同じ種類をまとめたものとしてもよい。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施形態を添付図面に従って説明する。

図1は、本実施形態に係る薬剤包装装置を示す。この薬剤包装装置は、大略、錠剤供給部1と、錠剤包装部2とで構成されている。

錠剤供給部1は、自動供給部3と、手動供給部4とからなる。

自動供給部3は、上下方向に延びる複数の錠剤通路5を環状に配設し、各錠剤通路5に沿って複数の錠剤フィーダ6をそれぞれ整列させたものである。

各錠剤フィーダ6は、図2に示すように、モータベース7と、このモータベース7に取外し可能に装着されるフィーダ容器8とからなる。フィーダ容器8は上方に開口し、カバー9によって蓋することができる略直方体形状で、各フィーダ容器8には、種類の異なる錠剤がそれぞれ収容されている。また、フィーダ容器8の底側にはロータ10が回転自在に設けられ、ギア11を介して前記モータベース7内のモータ12の駆動により回転するようになっている。そして、このロータ10の回転により、フィーダ容器8内に収容した錠剤を順次落下案内通路13を介して錠剤通路5に排出できるようになっている。

前記錠剤通路5には、下端開口部及び中間部に開閉可能なシャッター14,15がそれぞれ設けられている。錠剤通路5の下端開口部に設けられるシャッター14はドーナツ状の平板で構成され、周方向に沿って所定ピッチで設けた開口により、各錠剤通路5の下端開口部を開放可能となっている。また、錠剤通路5の中間部に設けられるシャッター15には、図3(a)又は(b)に示すように、支軸15aを中心として回動自在に設けた開閉板15bが採用されている。開閉板15bには衝撃吸収可能な、例えばシリコン樹脂にテフロン樹脂をコーティングしたものが使用され、落下する錠剤の跳ね返りを防止可能となっている。

また、前記錠剤通路5の下方にはホッパー16が配設され、各錠剤通路5から落下する錠剤が1箇所に回収されるようになっている。ホッパー16の下方開口部には前記錠剤通路5の中間部に設けたものと同様なシャッター17が設けられ、錠剤包装部2に包装する際に開放されるようになっている。

このように、錠剤フィーダ6から供給される錠剤は、前記錠剤通路5及びホッパー16にそれぞれ設けた各シャッター14,15,17によってそれぞれ保持されるようになっている。なお、各シャッター14,15,17は同期して駆動し、保持した錠剤を順次次のシャッター14,17あるいは錠剤包装部2へと供給できるようになっている。

一方、手動供給部4は、前記自動供給部3の錠剤フィーダ6に収容されていない錠剤を包装する場合に、その錠剤を手動で供給するためのものである。この手動供給部4は、支持枠に固定した錠剤バケットに取外し可能な錠剤トレイを有している。錠剤トレイの内部には、格子状に仕切られた複数の分配枡が形成されている。各分配枡の底板は開閉可能で、一端側に位置するものから順に開放するように構成されている。各分配枡には、作業者が開放順序を考慮して必要な錠剤を必要数だけ手作業にて収容するようになっている(例えば、特公平6―37202号公報参照)。

錠剤包装部2は、図4に示すように、巻回した長尺な包装シートを巻き戻し、2つ折りにしながら、順次長手方向に間隔を置いてシールしつつ、錠剤を包装するものである(例えば、特開平9―202301号公報参照)。

次に、前記薬剤包装装置の動作を図5のフローチャートに従って説明する。

電源がオンされると(ステップS1)、包装処理が開始される(ステップS2)。包装処理では、図示しないホストコンピュータや端末等から読み込んだ処方箋データに基づいて順次該当する錠剤フィーダ6から所定量の錠剤を供給し、錠剤包装部2にて1包ずつ包装する。この包装処理は、処方箋データに含まれる処理予定のデータ全てについて行う(ステップS3)。

包装処理中に、停電等で電力の供給が停止したり、非常停止ボタンが操作される等により非通常停止された場合(ステップS4)、実行中の包装処理プログラムが停止すると共に、包装中の錠剤の種類や量等の包装処理に関するデータは消失する。このため、再び処方箋データを読み込んで、包装処理を再開する必要が生じるが、包装処理途中の錠剤がどれだけ搬送経路途中に残留しているのかを把握することができない。但し、包装フラグFについてのデータは記憶しておく。

したがって、非通常停止された場合、電源をオンして再起動されれば(ステップS5)、自動的に錠剤回収処理を開始する(ステップS6)。錠剤回収処理は、自動供給部3、手動供給部4の順で行う。

自動供給部3の錠剤回収処理では、図6に示すように、シャッター14,15,17を同時に作動し、順次下方側のシャッター14,17又は錠剤包装部2に錠剤を供給する。(ステップS11)。錠剤包装部2では、通常の包装処理と同様に供給される錠剤を包装する(ステップS12)。この処理は、錠剤供給経路の途中に滞留する全ての錠剤が回収されるまで行う(ステップS13)。この場合、錠剤が保持される位置は、錠剤通路5の中間部及び下端開口部とホッパー16の下端開口部の3箇所であり、しかもシャッター14,15,17による1回の開閉動作によって1つ下方のシャッター14,17又は錠剤包装部2に移動するのであるから、シャッター14を3回開閉動作させれば、確実に全錠剤を回収できることになる。

手動供給部4での錠剤回収処理では、手動供給部4を作動し、各分配枡内に収容される錠剤を順次錠剤包装部2にて包装する。ここでの包装処理は、手動供給部4に保持された全錠剤について行う。

なお、前記実施形態では、錠剤供給経路の途中に滞留する錠剤を滞留位置毎に1包となるように包装するようにしたが、滞留する錠剤を全て同一分包袋内に回収するようにしてもよい。この場合、回収される錠剤数に応じて袋長を変更すればよい。

また、前記実施形態では、自動供給部3に、上下方向に整列させた錠剤フィーダ6を環状に配設する構成のものを採用したが、図7に示すように、箱状に配設した複数の長尺なカセット21にそれぞれ種類の異なる錠剤を収容し、各カセット21から落下させた錠剤を、ホッパー22を介してベルトコンベアー23にて包装装置24に搬送し、包装する構成等、他の自動供給機能を備えたものを採用しても構わない。

また、前記実施形態では、薬剤包装装置として錠剤を包装するタイプのものについて説明したが、散薬を包装するタイプのものや、錠剤及び散薬の両方を包装するタイプのものにも適用可能である。そして、非通常停止時に薬剤供給経路の途中に滞留する錠剤の回収を、錠剤包装部2の手前に取外し可能に設けた薬剤投入ホッパー25によって行うようにしてもよい。

錠剤及び散薬の両方を包装するタイプの装置としては、図8及び図9に示すように、錠剤供給部26と散薬供給部27とを備えたものがある。

図8に示すものでは、錠剤供給部26は、格子状に複数の錠剤収容室28を備えた構成となっている。また、散薬供給部27は、ドーナツ状で外周上面に円弧状の散薬収容溝を備えた分配皿29と、この分配皿29から所定量ずつ散薬を薬剤投入ホッパー25に掻き出すための掻出装置30とで構成されている(詳しくは、特開平8─85502号公報等参照)。

一方、図9に示すものでは、錠剤供給部26は、図8に示すものと同じであるが、散薬供給部27は、複数の分割容器31を並設した構成となっている。各分割容器31内の散薬は、底面の開閉板32が開放することにより薬剤投入ホッパー25に供給されるようになっている(詳しくは、特公昭60─58136号公報等参照)。

前記薬剤投入ホッパー25は、矩形筒状で、その排出口25aが支軸33aを中心として回動自在に設けたシャッター33によって開閉されるようになっている。非通常停止後、再起動前に、供給経路の途中に滞留した薬剤を回収する場合、前記シャッター33により排出口25aを閉鎖しておく。これにより、滞留した薬剤は薬剤投入ホッパー25に回収される。この場合、薬剤投入ホッパー25には1包分ずつ回収したり、同じ種類の薬剤をまとめて回収すればよい。薬剤が回収されれば、薬剤投入ホッパー25を取り外し、回収した薬剤を元の供給部26,27に戻して再利用することができる。

【発明の効果】
以上の説明から明らかなように、本発明に係る薬剤包装装置によれば、非通常停止後、再起動前に、薬剤供給経路の途中に残留する薬剤を全て薬剤包装部にて包装させるようにしたので、人手を介することなく自動的に復旧作業に移行することができる。
