【0001】

【0281】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire that can prevent an increase in uneven wear and deterioration of pattern noise and improve drainage.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, a conventional pneumatic tire is provided with a circumferential groove (main groove) extending in the tire circumferential direction and an inclined groove (lag groove) extending obliquely with respect to the tire circumferential direction in the tire axial direction. Yes.
[0003]
Here, a method of increasing the groove area (negative) by, for example, widening the groove width may be considered in order to improve wet high-predability.
[0004]
However, widening the groove width generally improves drainage, but simply increasing the groove width decreases the block rigidity and increases uneven wear, or increases the volume of air in the groove, and pattern noise worsens. There is.
[0005]
In addition, it is common to ensure drainage in the tire circumferential direction by the circumferential groove and to ensure drainage in the tire axial direction by the inclined groove, but continuous smooth grounding is impaired by providing this inclined groove. Therefore, there is a problem that becomes a source of pattern noise.
[0006]
On the other hand, in a row of blocks in which notched grooves such as sipe are formed, not only the wet drainage performance is lowered, but also grip on a road with a low friction coefficient (low μ road) and a block rigidity that is too high are causes. There is a problem that causes a deterioration in ride comfort.
[0007]
Further, noise can be reduced by stopping the inclined groove without opening it in the circumferential groove, but this causes a problem that wet drainage performance deteriorates.
[0008]
Furthermore, by raising at least a part of the inclined groove, the block rigidity can be increased and uneven wear can be suppressed, and the air volume in the groove can be reduced to reduce noise, but the wet drainage property is deteriorated. There is a problem to do. In particular, there is a problem that wet drainage after wear of the block is remarkably deteriorated.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Then, this invention considers the said fact and makes it a subject to provide the pneumatic tire which can prevent the increase in uneven wear and deterioration of pattern noise, and can improve drainage.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The invention according to
[0011]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire according to
[0012]
In the pneumatic tire of this invention, since the said hollow part is formed in the slit of a land part, drainage property can be ensured. In particular, since the hollow portion appears on the surface of the tire after the middle wear phase of the land portion, the drainage can be more effectively ensured.
[0013]
On the other hand, the rigidity of the land portion on the outer side in the tire radial direction of the hollow portion is reduced by providing the hollow portion in the slit of the land portion. There is concern about an increase (progress) in uneven wear due to the decrease in rigidity.
[0014]
Therefore, by chamfering and inclining the land portion having low rigidity, contact between the chamfered portion of the land portion and the road surface can be avoided, so that uneven wear can be effectively prevented.
[0015]
Since the chamfered portion is not grounded, a gap is formed between the road surface and the land surface, so that the drainage performance at the initial stage of wear can be further improved.
[0016]
Furthermore, since the hollow portion is provided in the vicinity of the bottom of the slit, an increase in air volume in the slit due to the provision of the hollow portion can be suppressed as much as possible, and deterioration of pattern noise can be prevented as much as possible. Moreover, noise reduction can be achieved by using a land portion continuous in the tire circumferential direction.
[0017]
As described above, according to the pneumatic tire of the present invention, it is possible to prevent an increase in uneven wear and deterioration of pattern noise and improve drainage.
[0018]
The invention according to
[0019]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire of
[0020]
Near the center of the contact area, that is, the tread area closer to the tire equator than the outermost land portion in the tire width direction is near the both ends in the tire width direction of the contact area, that is, compared to the tread area near the shoulder. It is far from and is a severe area with respect to drainage.
[0021]
In the pneumatic tire of the present invention, a slit having a chamfer and a hollow portion is provided in a tread region on the tire equatorial plane side from the outermost land portion in the tire width direction, that is, a land portion defined by a pair of circumferential grooves. Therefore, it is preferable in ensuring drainage more effectively.
[0022]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the pneumatic tire according to the first or second aspect, the land portion on the outermost side in the tire width direction is chamfered and has a slit in which no hollow portion is formed. It is provided.
[0023]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire according to
[0024]
Even in the tread, the vicinity of the shoulder portion is a severe part against wear, and if the hollow portion is provided and the land portion rigidity is lowered, there is a risk of causing uneven wear (heel and toe wear). Therefore, if there is a possibility that uneven wear occurs in the outermost land portion in the tire width direction, the land portion slit is not chamfered and the hollow portion is not formed in the slit of the land portion, and the land portion rigidity is appropriately reduced. It is preferable to make it.
[0025]
The invention according to
[0026]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire of
[0027]
In the pneumatic tire of the present invention, since the slit is formed to be inclined with respect to the tire axial direction, the corner of the land portion has an acute angle in plan view. If the corner portion is an acute angle, the rigidity of the portion is lowered, and thus there is a risk that uneven wear increases.
[0028]
Therefore, in the plan view of the land part, by chamfering the edge near the acute angle end of the land part, it is possible to avoid the ground contact between the low rigidity part of the land part and the road surface, thereby effectively preventing an increase in uneven wear. can do.
[0029]
The invention described in claim 5 5. Any one of
[0030]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire of Claim 5 is demonstrated.
[0031]
On one side of the slit in the tire axial direction, either the stepping side or the kicking side edge of the land across the slit is chamfered and inclined, and on the other side of the slit in the tire axial direction, the slit is By chamfering and tilting the edge of the land portion on the opposite side across the slit with respect to the land portion chamfered on one side in the tire axial direction, the chamfered edge in each land portion divided by the slit It will have both edges without chamfering.
[0032]
For this reason, the ground pressure is different between the chamfered edge portion and the chamfered edge portion in one land portion, and so-called impact components (pattern block edge, which is the source of pattern noise (seismic source), is input from the road surface. , The same shall apply hereinafter) is dispersed, so that noise can be reduced.
[0033]
Further, since the chamfered portion (edge) does not come into contact with the road surface, a drainage effect can be obtained.
[0034]
The invention according to
[0035]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire of
[0036]
With the bent part of the slit as the boundary, on one side in the tire axial direction, the stepped side edge of the land part sandwiching the slit is chamfered and inclined, and on the other side in the tire axial direction, the land part kicking across the slit is kicked Since the leading edge is chamfered and inclined, both the chamfered edge portion and the chamfered edge portion are provided in one slit of each land portion.
[0037]
For this reason, since the contact pressure differs between the edge portion chamfered and the edge portion without chamfering in one land portion, so-called impact components are dispersed, noise can be reduced.
[0038]
In addition, since the chamfered edge portion does not come into contact with the road surface, a drainage effect can be obtained, and by forming the slit in a bent shape, the rigidity of each land portion can be improved and uneven wear can be prevented as much as possible. .
[0039]
The invention described in claim 7
[0040]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire of Claim 7 is demonstrated.
[0041]
With the circumferential groove as a boundary, the edge on the tread side of the land part sandwiching the slit is chamfered and inclined on one side in the tire axial direction, and the land part kicking out the slit on the other side in the tire axial direction Since the side edge is chamfered and inclined, the noise can be reduced for the same reason as in
[0042]
At the same time, since the chamfered edge portion does not contact the road surface, a drainage effect can be obtained.
[0043]
The invention according to
[0044]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire of
[0045]
Since the slit width of the slit is formed so as to increase toward the circumferential groove or the tire axial end, the water component easily flows into the circumferential groove or the tire axial end. For this reason, the drainage effect can be further improved.
[0046]
The slit width of the slit means a width (shortest width) measured substantially perpendicular to the axial direction of the slit.
[0047]
The invention according to claim 9 is the pneumatic tire according to any one of
[0048]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire of Claim 9 is demonstrated.
[0049]
When the slit is directly under the load facing the road surface, the flat portions of the slit wall surface contact each other. By this contact, the rigidity of the land portion partitioned in the tire circumferential direction by the slit is improved. For this reason, uneven wear can be effectively prevented.
[0050]
Moreover, the braking performance can be improved by the flat portions of the wall surfaces of the slits coming into contact with each other.
[0051]
Furthermore, since the flat portions of the wall surfaces of the slits are in contact with each other, the land contact in the tire circumferential direction defined by the slits continues, so that the so-called impact component can be reduced and pattern noise can be reduced.
[0052]
In addition, since the hollow part is formed, even if the plane part of the wall surface of a slit contacts mutually, the problem which drainage property deteriorates does not arise.
[0053]
The invention according to
[0054]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire of
[0055]
If the chamfering width of the edge is less than twice the slit width of the slit, the drainage performance is not effectively improved, which is inappropriate.
[0056]
On the other hand, if the chamfer width of the edge is larger than 7 times the slit width of the slit, pattern noise is likely to occur, which is inappropriate.
[0057]
The chamfered width of the edge means a width (shortest width) measured substantially perpendicular to the axial direction of the slit.
[0058]
The slit width of the slit means a width (shortest width) measured substantially perpendicular to the axial direction of the slit.
[0059]
The invention according to claim 11 is the pneumatic tire according to any one of
[0060]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire of Claim 11 is demonstrated.
[0061]
If the chamfering depth in the slit depth direction of the edge is less than 10% of the groove depth of the circumferential groove, the drainage performance is not effectively improved, which is inappropriate.
[0062]
On the other hand, if the chamfering depth in the slit depth direction of the edge is larger than 30% of the groove depth of the circumferential groove, pattern noise is likely to occur, which is inappropriate.
[0063]
The invention according to
[0064]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire of
[0065]
If the angle of chamfering is less than 10 °, the drainage performance is not improved effectively and is inappropriate.
[0066]
On the other hand, if the angle of chamfering exceeds 45 °, pattern noise tends to occur, which is inappropriate.
[0067]
The invention according to claim 13 is the pneumatic tire according to any one of
[0068]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire of Claim 13 is demonstrated.
[0069]
If the area where the hollow part is provided is less than 30% of the groove depth of the slit from the groove bottom with respect to the groove bottom of the slit, the drainage performance will not be improved effectively, which is inappropriate.
[0070]
On the other hand, if the area where the hollow portion is provided becomes larger than 70% of the groove depth of the slit from the groove bottom with reference to the groove bottom of the slit, pattern noise is likely to occur and the land surface moves greatly and becomes uneven. It is inappropriate because it tends to cause wear.
[0071]
The invention according to
[0072]
Next, the effect of the pneumatic tire of
[0073]
If the expanded diameter of the hollow portion is less than twice the slit width of the slit, a sufficient drainage effect cannot be obtained, which is inappropriate.
[0074]
On the other hand, if the expanded width of the hollow portion is larger than 5 times the slit width of the slit, the volume of the hollow portion becomes too large. For this reason, when the slit is directly under the load facing the road surface, the surface of the land portion moves greatly and uneven wear tends to occur, which is inappropriate.
[0075]
In addition, if the expanded diameter of the hollow portion is wider than the sum of the chamfered width of the edge and the slit width of the slit, the effect of suppressing uneven wear is not obtained by chamfering the edge of the land portion and not contacting the road surface, It is inappropriate.
[0076]
The expanded width of the hollow portion means the maximum diameter of the hollow portion measured substantially perpendicular to the axial direction of the slit.
[0077]
Further, the meaning of the chamfer width of the edge and the slit width of the slit is the same as the meaning described in the operation of
[0078]
The invention according to claim 15 is the pneumatic tire according to any one of
[0079]
Next, the operation of the pneumatic tire according to claim 15 will be described.
[0080]
As described in the operation of the first aspect, by providing the hollow portion in the slit of the land portion, the rigidity of the land portion on the outer side in the tire radial direction of the hollow portion is lowered. When a hollow part is provided in the slit, if the hollow part is formed on both the land part inside the chamfering side and the land part inside opposite to the chamfering side, the hollow part is biased toward the land part on the opposite side to the chamfering side. There is a concern of causing wear.
[0081]
The uneven wear that occurs in the land portion on the opposite side of the chamfered side is small and there should be no problems in actual use. Chamfer side Formed only inside the land, Chamfer side It is preferable to suppress the cause of uneven wear as much as possible without forming it toward the land inward in the opposite direction.
[0082]
