BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cylinder cleaning brush unit and a cylinder cleaning device for removing foreign matter adhering to the outer peripheral surface of a cylinder of a processing machine such as an offset printing machine, a paper making machine, a paper processing machine, and a textile machine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, dirt such as printing paper powder adheres to the cylinder surface of various printing machines, and therefore it is necessary to periodically clean the cylinder surface in order to maintain high print quality. Conventionally, various apparatuses have been proposed as apparatuses for automatically performing this cleaning. FIG. 29 is a side view of a conventional cylinder cleaning apparatus, and FIG. 30 is a perspective view. In the cylinder cleaning device, the
On the other hand, when using a tray in which the drain mechanism of the cleaning waste liquid is not provided, the cleaning waste liquid collected in the tray is transferred to another container and discarded.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When using a pan that is not equipped with a drain mechanism, the pan must be frequently removed from its place and carefully moved to a separate container so as not to overflow the cleaning waste liquid that has accumulated in the pan. In the present situation, it is a heavy burden on a worker in a machine that requires a lot of time and labor to clean the inside of a dirty tray and requires a large number of brush units.
Also, in a tray equipped with a drain mechanism, a drain pipe is usually connected to the drain mechanism, and cleaning waste liquid is transferred to another container through this drain pipe, but foreign substances in the cleaning waste liquid adhere to and accumulate on the inner wall of the drain pipe. The solvent that clogs the inside of the pipe and drains into the tray cannot be drained sufficiently, causing it to overflow, and cleaning the clogged drain mechanism and drain pipe requires dirt and work that requires time and effort. May be required. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a brush unit and a cylinder cleaning apparatus having the brush unit that improve work efficiency, work safety, and productivity by solving dirty work that requires time, labor, and cost as maintenance work. is there.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a first aspect of the present invention is a cylinder cleaning brush unit that supplies a cleaning liquid and removes foreign matter adhering to the cylinder surface by a brush roller, and includes cleaning that includes foreign matter removed from the cylinder surface. Opening for discharging waste liquid from the unitAnd disposed in the opening,Filter for filtering the washing waste liquidAnd a brush facing frame having a curved surface that is fixed to the frame of the unit and is in contact with a predetermined circumferential range with respect to the outer peripheral surface of the brush roller, on the substantially opposite side of the position where the brush roller contacts the cylinder. PreparationIt is characterized by.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the foreign matter removed from the cylinder surface by the brush roller is caught before entering the saucer, and does not directly contact the saucer. Foreign matter can be easily discharged. In addition, foreign substances are filtered out from the cleaning waste liquid containing foreign substances at the opening, so that the burden of trouble countermeasures such as dirt on the tray due to sludge-like foreign substances and clogging of the drain pipe that discharges the cleaning waste liquid from the tray, etc. Is reduced.
Also, if the brush roller is rotating after scraping cleaning waste liquid containing foreign matter from the cylinder surface, the cleaning waste liquid containing foreign matter adhering to the brush is scattered from the brush by the centrifugal force and adheres to the inner surface of the brush unit. A phenomenon occurs. As a measure against this, by providing a brush facing frame having a curved surface that contacts a predetermined circumferential range with respect to the outer peripheral surface of the brush roller on the substantially opposite side of the position where the brush roller contacts the cylinder, A large amount of foreign matter can be prevented from being accumulated. By bringing the brush roller into contact with the opposing frame (including kiss touch and sliding contact), foreign matter is prevented from accumulating in the opposing frame, and at the same time, a brush self-cleaning effect can be obtained.
[0005]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the cylinder cleaning brush unit that supplies cleaning liquid and removes foreign matter adhering to the cylinder surface by the brush roller, the brush roller is positioned downstream in the rotation direction of the brush roller from the contact position between the cylinder and the brush roller. An opening for discharging cleaning waste liquid containing foreign matter removed from the surface from the unit and a filter for filtering the cleaning waste liquid, the filter including the opening and at least near a tangent at a contact position between the cylinder and the brush roller It is characterized by being arranged to extend to.
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the brush that has been bent at the contact position between the brush roller and the cylinder includes foreign matter scraped from the cylinder surface by the action of flipping when the brush returns by releasing the contact state (flipper phenomenon). Cleaning waste liquid scatters in the area below the contact position near the cylinder. Since the filter includes the opening and extends to at least the vicinity of the tangent at the contact position between the cylinder and the brush roller, it is possible to receive the cleaning waste liquid scattered in the region below the contact position near the cylinder.
[0006]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the first or second aspect, the filter is made of a fabric, a net, or a film having a hole.
According to the invention of
[0007]
The invention of
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the use of the sheet-like filter is effective in the case where the foreign matter adhering to the cylinder surface is small and the replacement frequency is low or the size is small and the installation space is narrow.
[0008]
The invention of claim 5In claim 2The brush facing frame having a curved surface that contacts a predetermined circumferential range with respect to the outer peripheral surface of the brush roller is fixed to the side frame of the unit on the substantially opposite side of the position where the brush roller contacts the cylinder. .

According to a ninth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a cylinder cleaning brush unit that supplies cleaning liquid and removes foreign matter adhering to the cylinder surface by a brush roller, and an opening for discharging cleaning waste liquid containing foreign matter removed from the cylinder surface from the unit. And a filter arranged in the opening for filtering the cleaning waste liquid, and fixed to the frame of the unit, on the outer surface of the brush roller on the substantially opposite side of the position where the brush roller contacts the cylinder. A brush facing frame having a curved surface that is brought close to.
According to the ninth aspect of the present invention, the brush that has been bent at the contact position between the brush roller and the cylinder includes foreign matter scraped from the cylinder surface by the action of flipping when the brush returns by releasing the contact state (flipper phenomenon).
Further, depending on the structure of the brush roller, when the brush roller is pressed against the cylinder with a predetermined pressure, the central portion of the brush roller is curved toward the brush facing frame. In this state, a slight gap (approaching state) is formed between the brush roller and the curved surface of the brush facing frame so that the brush roller and the brush facing frame are in contact with each other. Thus, even if the brush roller is bent and comes into contact with the brush facing frame, the sliding contact resistance between the two members is not increased, and the same effect as in the first aspect can be obtained.
