Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a portable electronic device having an imaging function.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Digital cameras and digital video cameras are common as portable electronic devices having an imaging function, but recently, portable information processing devices such as PDAs and notebook PCs, and portable communications such as cellular phones and PHSs. An imaging unit (camera module) in which a lens and an imaging element are unitized has also been mounted on a terminal device. As a portable electronic device having such an imaging function, a portable electronic device having a display screen and an operation unit in one case, or a first case having a display screen and a second case having an operation unit. The thing etc. which connected and comprised the body so that folding is possible are proposed.
[0003]
In conventional portable electronic devices with an imaging function such as a digital camera and a camera-equipped mobile phone, the imaging unit is attached to the surface opposite to the display screen. Then, the image information of the subject acquired by the imaging unit is displayed on the display screen, and shooting is performed while viewing the display screen. For this reason, when photographing the user himself (hereinafter referred to as “self-photographing”), a small mirror surface is provided in the vicinity of the lens portion of the imaging unit, and the user's own image is captured in a predetermined region of the mirror surface. The method of pressing the shutter button in the state was employed.
[0004]
However, when the above-described conventional structure is adopted, the user can confirm the appearance of the subject himself / herself only by the above-described mirror surface, so that the photographing condition depends on the length of the user's arm, how to extend the arm, etc. Often changes. Moreover, since the above-mentioned mirror surface is small, it is difficult to visually recognize its own appearance. For this reason, accurate photographing becomes difficult, and in some cases, photographing is performed in a state where the person himself / herself protrudes from the effective photographing region.
[0005]
In order to solve such a problem, a method has been proposed in which a small display screen is provided instead of the above-described mirror surface, and the self-photographing is realized by displaying one's own figure on the small display screen. Has been.
[0006]
In addition, a folding cellular phone (for example, refer to Patent Document 1) that can change the position of the lens of the imaging unit during normal shooting and self-shooting, and the imaging unit is rotatably mounted on the hinge portion. A mobile terminal device with a camera having a mechanism for rotating the imaging unit itself, such as an information communication terminal device (see, for example, Patent Document 2), has also been proposed.
[0007]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2002-185589 (first page, FIG. 2)
[Patent Document 2]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-69214 (page 3, FIG. 2)
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, if the above-described method of mounting a small display screen is adopted, it is necessary to mount two types of display screens with different sizes in the portable electronic device, which increases the size of the device and increases the number of parts. Due to this, there is a problem that the manufacturing cost also increases.
[0009]
In addition, when the camera-equipped mobile terminal device having a mechanism for rotating the imaging unit itself as described above is used, the user's finger may directly contact the lens unit when the imaging unit is rotated. It could cause dirt and damage.
[0010]
An object of the present invention is to realize a reduction in size and cost of a product in a portable electronic device having an imaging unit and capable of photographing itself, and effectively preventing dirt and damage on a lens portion of the imaging unit. It is.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the invention described in
For example, as shown in FIGS.
In an electronic device in which a display screen is provided on one surface of a housing and an imaging unit is provided inside ,
A door that opens and closes an opening provided on a surface of the housing opposite to the display screen by a substantially parallel movement with respect to the surface;
A door-part interlocking rotation mechanism that rotates the imaging unit in conjunction with the movement of the door part;
Provided,
When the door is closed, the lens unit of the imaging unit faces outward from the display screen side of the housing, and when the door is open, the lens unit of the imaging unit is It is characterized by facing outward from the opening .
[0012]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a door portion interlocking rotation mechanism that rotates the imaging unit in conjunction with the movement of the door portion, and when the door portion is closed, the lens of the imaging unit is provided. Since the lens portion of the imaging unit faces outward from the opening of the housing when the door portion is facing outward from the display screen side of the housing and the door portion is open, the normal counterpart It is possible to shoot while checking the subject on the display screen not only when shooting but also when shooting yourself .
[0013]
That is , the user can perform the other party's photographing as usual by opening the door and directing the lens unit of the imaging unit to the side opposite to the display screen (opening side) . On the other hand, by closing the door, the user can turn the lens unit of the imaging unit toward the display screen and display his / her own figure on the display screen. You can take a picture of yourself. As a result, since it is not necessary to mount two types of display screens as in the case of a conventional mobile terminal device with a camera, it is possible to reduce the size and cost of the product.
[0014]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the image pickup unit can be rotated in conjunction with the movement of the door by the door interlocking rotation mechanism. Therefore, when the image pickup unit is rotated, the user's finger does not come into direct contact with the lens unit of the image pickup unit, so that the lens unit of the image pickup unit can be effectively prevented from being stained or damaged.
[0015]
The invention according to claim 2 is the portable
