Description
【0001】

[Calixarene derivativesofCharacteristic〕
(1) Photoreactive characteristics:
Calixarene derivative (I)andCalixarene derivatives (II)of2 mg of each was dissolved in 2 mL of tetrahydrofuran, and each of the obtained solutions was applied to the inner wall surface of a quartz cell and dried under reduced pressure at room temperature for 2 hours to form a thin film. 1.20 mW using a 500 W xenon lamp “UXL-500D-O” (manufactured by USHIO INC.) And a heat ray cut filter “HA50” (manufactured by HOYA) on the thin film formed in the quartz cell. / Cm2Under the condition of (310 nm), the light irradiation treatment was performed while changing the light irradiation time, and the change in the absorbance of ultraviolet rays in the thin film was measured with an ultraviolet spectrophotometer. The result is shown in FIG.And FIG.Shown in
[0063]
From the result of FIG. 1, in the thin film made of calixarene derivative (I), it is confirmed that the absorption of ultraviolet rays having a maximum absorption wavelength of 281 nm based on the NBD structure decreases with the passage of light irradiation time. By confirming the isosbestic point at 249 nm, it is understood that the photoisomerization reaction from the NBD structure to the corresponding QC structure proceeds without causing side reactions. In addition, it was confirmed that the photoisomerization reaction was completed in 300 seconds.
From the result of FIG. 2, in the thin film made of calixarene derivative (II), it is confirmed that the absorption of ultraviolet rays having a maximum absorption wavelength of 279 nm based on the NBD structure decreases with the passage of light irradiation time. By confirming the isosbestic point at 249 nm, it is understood that the photoisomerization reaction from the NBD structure to the corresponding QC structure proceeds without causing side reactions. In addition, it was confirmed that the photoisomerization reaction was completed in 300 seconds..
[0064]
In addition, calixarene derivatives (I)andCalixarene derivatives (II)InFigure shows the results of plotting the isomerization reaction rate in the first-order rate equation3Shown in
Figure3From the results of the calixarene derivative (I)andCalixarene derivatives (II)InIt is understood that all photoisomerization reactions proceed in the first order.

(2) Refractive index change:
Each of the calixarene derivative (I) and calixarene derivative (II) is dissolved in methyl cellosolve acetate, and the resulting solution is applied to a silicon plate by a spinner (manufactured by Asanuma Seisakusho Co., Ltd.) and dried. Thus, a thin film having a thickness of about 1.0 μm was formed. The obtained thin film was irradiated with ultraviolet rays for 20 minutes using 250 W ultra high pressure mercury or the like, and the refractive index before and after ultraviolet irradiation was measured 6 times with a laser beam having a wavelength of 632.8 nm using an ellipsometer. The average value of the four measurement values excluding the value and the maximum value was calculated, and the amount of change in the refractive index before and after UV irradiation was determined.
The calixarene derivative (III) was dissolved in methyl cellosolve acetate, and the resulting solution was applied to a silicon plate with a spinner and dried to form a thin film having a thickness of about 0.1 μm.
The results are shown in Table 1.
[0066]
[Table 1]
[0067]
As is clear from the results in Table 1, each of the calixarene derivative (I) to calixarene derivative (III) has a characteristic that the refractive index changes when irradiated with ultraviolet rays, and the change in the refractive index. It was confirmed that the amount is large and useful as a refractive index conversion material.
[0068]
(3) Thermal characteristics:
Calixarene derivative (I)andCalixarene derivatives (II)ofEach was dissolved in tetrahydrofuran, and each of the obtained solutions was applied to a glass plate and dried under reduced pressure at room temperature for 2 hours to form a thin film. The obtained thin film was subjected to a light irradiation treatment with a 500 W xenon lamp “UXL-500D-O” (manufactured by USHIO INC.) For 1 hour. The thin film was subjected to differential scanning calorimetry using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) “EXTRA 6000 DSC6200” (manufactured by Seiko Instruments Inc.) under a nitrogen stream and at a temperature rising rate of 10 ° C./min. The amount was measured.
Also, calixarene derivatives (I) to calixarene derivatives (III)InNext, under the condition of a nitrogen stream, a thermogravimetric-differential thermal analysis was performed under the condition of a heating rate of 10 ° C./min, thereby measuring the weight loss start temperature and the 5% weight loss temperature.
The results are shown in Table 2.
[0069]
[Table 2]
[0070]

Also, calixarene derivatives (I) to calixarene derivatives (III)ofEach of them has a weight reduction starting temperature of 300 ° C. or higher, and has been confirmed to have high heat resistance (heat deterioration resistance).
