本発明はデジタル放送受信記録再生装置、およびデジタル放送受信記録再生装置を用いてＶＯＤ（ビデオ・オン・デマンド）サービス提供局から番組の配信を受ける番組配信システムに関する。

図９は、従来のデジタル放送受信記録再生装置の構成を示す図である。
図９において、１００はデジタル放送受信記録再生装置本体、１０１は衛星デジタル放送や地上デジタル放送、ケーブル放送などを通じて受信したデジタル放送から記録対象の番組を選択する記録対象番組選択手段、１０２は記録対象番組選択手段１０１によって選択された番組を記録するための記録対象番組記録手段、１０３は記録対象番組記録手段１０２に記録されている番組を再生する記録番組再生手段である。

上述のように構成された従来のデジタル放送受信記録再生装置１００の記録再生動作を下記に示す。
まず受信したデジタル放送から記録対象番組選択手段１０１が記録対象の番組を選択し、記録対象番組記録手段１０２へ送る。記録対象番組記録手段１０２は送られた番組を記録する。記録番組再生手段１０３は記録対象番組記録手段１０２から送られた番組を再生し、テレビジョン等へ出力する。

以上のような従来のデジタル放送受信記録再生装置においては、ドラマやアニメ、スポーツ等を録画した場合に、これらのシリーズ化された番組を放送話数に沿って再生することができなかった。また、録画忘れなどで特定の話数が抜けている場合にこの抜けている話数に該当する番組の再放送などを自動的に検索して録画する機能や、ＶＯＤサービス提供局などにこの番組の配信を要求する機能などがなかった。また、デジタル放送受信記録再生装置から直接ＶＯＤサービス提供局などに番組の配信を要求し、この要求を受けたＶＯＤサービス提供局などから番組が配信されるシステムもなかった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、上記問題点を解決するために、録画された番組に対し、シリーズ化された番組毎に放送話数に沿って順列化するための順列化情報を付加し、この順列化情報を基に番組を再生することにより、放送話数に沿った再生を行うことができ、また、電子番組案内を自動検索し、録画してあるシリーズ化された番組で録画が抜けている話数に該当するものが電子番組案内上に存在するときには、その話数に該当する番組を指定するための案内情報を得、この案内情報を基にその番組を録画することにより、録画できなかった話数に該当する番組の放送を録画することができるデジタル放送受信記録再生装置を提供することを目的とする。

本発明の請求項１記載のデジタル放送受信記録再生装置は、受信したデジタル放送から記録対象の番組を選択する記録対象番組選択手段と、前記記録対象番組選択手段によって選択された番組を記録するための記録対象番組記録手段と、前記記録対象番組記録手段に記録されている番組を再生する記録番組再生手段と、前記記録対象番組記録手段に記録されている番組に対し、シリーズ化された番組毎に放送話数に沿って順列化するための順列化情報を付加する番組順列化情報付加手段と、前記順列化情報を基に前記記録対象番組記録手段に記録されている番組を各シリーズ化された番組毎に放送話数の順序に沿って前記記録番組再生手段へ送る番組順列再生手段とを備え、前記記録対象番組記録手段に記録されている番組を各シリーズ化された番組毎に放送話数の順序に沿って再生するデジタル放送受信記録再生装置であって、電子番組案内を受信する電子番組案内受信手段と、前記記録対象番組記録手段に記録されている番組を特定するための情報を基に前記電子番組案内を検索し、前記記録対象番組記録手段に記録されているシリーズ化された番組で記録が抜けている話数に該当する番組が前記電子番組案内上に存在するときには、その番組を指定するための案内情報を前記記録対象番組選択手段に送る電子番組案内検索手段とを備え、前記記録対象番組記録手段が前記電子番組案内検索手段から送られた案内情報を基に記録が抜けている話数に該当する番組を選択して記録することを特徴とする。
