BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a buckle for locking a band or belt having an engagement groove, and more particularly to a buckle used together with a helmet headband, watch band, bag or shoe band or belt.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a buckle is known in which an engagement groove is provided in a band (or belt), a hook of a buckle is elastically engaged with the groove, and the locked state can be released at any time.
FIG. 7 shows a perspective view of a typical buckle of this type. The buckle body 1 is formed by a
[0003]
On the other hand, the belt paired with the buckle is provided with engaging grooves having a sawtooth cross section in the longitudinal direction, and the belt is inserted into a gap formed between the buckle body 1 and the lid piece 5. It is like that.
In the above buckle structure, the belt is inserted while pushing up the lid piece 5 against the elastic force of the coil spring 6, and when the insertion of the belt is stopped at an arbitrary tightening position, one
[0004]
The above-described conventional buckle has a drawback that the number of component parts is large and the assembling work becomes complicated. Further, since the buckle is made of metal, it has a drawback that it is not suitable for a buckle requiring weight reduction.
Further, since a mechanism for releasing the engagement with the belt by a pressing force directed from the upper side of the buckle body toward the bottom surface is employed, there is a possibility that the engagement between the buckle and the belt may be released due to unexpected contact or the like.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a synthetic resin buckle that is easy to manufacture and lightweight, and in particular, provides a synthetic resin buckle that is optimal as a headband buckle for a helmet.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The buckle made of a synthetic resin of the present invention is composed of a bottom plate and a ceiling frame that face each other and both side plates that connect both, and a buckle body that is an insertion space of a band having an engagement groove inside, and an inner side of the ceiling frame The operation plate is horizontally installed and has an engagement claw that can engage with the engagement groove of the band on the lower surface of one end portion, and has an upper surface of the other end portion as a pressing portion. And at the intermediate point of the pressing portion, respectively, are connected to two sides of the facing ceiling frame, respectively, so that the intermediate point can be swung as a fulcrum.
[0007]
The synthetic resin buckle is preferably integrally molded.
It is preferable to connect the ceiling frame and the operation plate with a connecting shaft connecting the two intermediate points.
It is preferable to connect the vicinity of one end of the operation plate and at least one side of the facing ceiling frame.
It is preferable to provide a pair of latching protrusions on the outer surface of the band and the ceiling frame so that the band can be drawn to the buckle body with a fingertip of one hand.
[0008]
[Action]
When the band is inserted into the insertion space of the buckle body from one insertion opening, the upper surface of the band comes into contact with the engaging claw of the operation plate, and moves forward while pushing up one end of the operation plate, The relative position is adjusted. In this state, since the engaging claw is engaged with and locked with the predetermined engaging groove, the band can be advanced with respect to the buckle but cannot be retracted.
On the other hand, in order to retract or pull out the band from the buckle, if the pressing part of the operation plate is pushed down, the engaging claw located on the opposite side rises and the locking with the engaging groove is released. You can slide the band freely.

【The invention's effect】
The buckle according to claim 1 has a small number of components and is made of a synthetic resin, so that it is lightweight and inexpensive to manufacture. In addition, since the engagement claw is directly operated, the engagement release operation is reliable, and the operation plate is surrounded by a ceiling frame, so there is a risk of inadvertent or sudden unlocking. Absent. Further, since the operation plate is installed in parallel with the bottom plate, it becomes a very flat shape and a compact structure.
In particular, when this buckle is applied to a helmet headband, even if the buckle is deployed on the back of the head, the band size can be easily adjusted while wearing by a simple disengagement operation. It is ideal as a buckle for a helmet headband worn for head protection during construction work, civil engineering work, other various work, or during vehicle driving or athletics.
[0024]
The buckle according to the second aspect of the present invention is low in mold cost because the structure of the molding die is simple, and the buckle can be easily manufactured.
