【0027】
DSP(Digital Signal Processor)

なお、ここで算出する帯域パワーをLi(i=1〜N;Nは帯域数)と表す。

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the accident sound detection apparatus according to the first embodiment of the present invention. In the present invention, the accident sound means a sound including a collision sound between vehicles, a collision sound between an object other than the vehicle and the vehicle, a sudden braking sound, a horn sound, and the like.

By performing band limitation in this way, the effects described below can be obtained. First, low-frequency noise caused by wind or vibration can be removed by performing the low-frequency blocking filter process. The low band in this case refers to a frequency band equal to or lower than any frequency in the range of 200 Hz to 400 Hz, for example. Second, aliasing due to AD conversion can be prevented by performing high-frequency rejection filtering.
[0025]
Here, a publicly known anti-aliasing filter can be used for the high-frequency block filter processing. Further, in addition to the above filter processing, it is also effective to prevent erroneous detection by applying A characteristics using a known filter having A characteristics used in a sound level meter or the like.

[0027]
Considering real-time operation by a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) or the like, the longer the frame length, the more advantageous it is because the amount of calculation per unit time can be reduced. On the other hand, a sudden accident sound that occurs suddenly is detected. Therefore, it is necessary to shorten the frame length, so that the frame length is set in consideration of these.
[0028]
Specifically, since the time required for the accident sound level to reach the peak value from the time of occurrence of the accident sound is 5 to 10 ms in the shortest case, the frame length is suitably in the range of 5 ms to 50 ms, Of these, about 10 ms is preferable. Further, the interval between the preceding frame and the succeeding frame may be matched with the frame length.
[0029]
The broadband power can be calculated by adding the square value of the amplitude value of the input signal at each sample point in the frame. Here, “in a frame” refers to a part or all of a signal in a frame.
The
[0030]
Next, the sound pressure fluctuation detecting means 140 is further configured by an accident sound power calculating means 141, a difference calculating means 142, a trend calculating means 143, a determining
The
[0031]
The trend is calculated by a method of calculating the average value of the broadband power over a plurality of frames before the accident sound power calculation target frame (not including the accident sound power calculation target frame). In this case, the number of frames is preferably 10 to 100 frames, and about 20 frames are particularly suitable.
[0032]
The accident sound power calculation means 141 is a means for receiving the information on the broadband power stored in the
[0033]
Conventionally, the difference value between samples was used as the accident sound power, but in the case of an accident sound with a short rise time, the accident sound can be detected even based on the difference value, but the accident sound with a long rise time. In the case of, the difference value between samples was small, so that it could not be detected well.
[0034]
Since the rise time of the accident sound varies depending on the type of the accident sound, the accident sound power is estimated using a plurality of frames after a specific frame. There are two types of calculation methods for accident sound power. The first method is a method in which the maximum value of broadband power in a plurality of frames after the accident sound power calculation frame (including the accident sound power calculation target frame) is used as the accident sound level. The second method is a method in which the total value of broadband power in a single frame or a plurality of frames after the accident sound power calculation frame (including the accident sound power calculation target frame) is used as the accident sound power. In any method, the number of frames used for calculation is suitably about 1 to 10.
[0035]
The difference calculating means 142 receives the accident sound power output from the accident sound power calculating means 141 and the trend output from the trend calculating means 143, calculates the difference value between the accident sound power and the trend, and determines the difference. 144 and output to the variance calculation means 145.
[0036]
The above difference value is the ratio between the accident sound power and the trend, and is expressed as a decibel (dB) value as shown in the following equation (1).

[0037]
The
[0038]
The reference difference value generation means 146 receives the information about the average value of the difference value between the accident sound power and the trend output from the variance calculation means 145 and the information about the variance, and based on the information about the average value and the information about the variance. This is a means for generating a reference difference value and outputting it to the determination means 144.
[0039]
Two methods are listed as the reference difference value setting method. The first method is a method that employs a fixed value, and the range of the reference difference value is preferably in the range of 6 dB to 18 dB in practice. The second method is a method of setting a reference difference value based on the dispersion information calculated by the
[0040]
The determination means 144 receives the information on the difference value between the accident sound power and the trend output from the difference calculation means 142 and the information on the reference difference value output from the reference difference value generation means 146, and inputs the accident sound power and the trend. When the difference value is equal to or greater than the reference difference value, a signal indicating that the sound is an accident sound, and when the difference value is less than the reference difference value, a signal indicating that the difference sound is not an accident sound. Means for outputting to the
[0041]
The smaller the reference difference value is, the fewer accident sound detection errors are, but the more false detection is due to sounds other than accident sounds. In addition, the larger the reference difference value, the greater the number of accident sound detection mistakes, but the fewer false detections by sounds other than the accident sound. Therefore, the reference difference value is set appropriately according to the application.

As described above, the accident sound detection apparatus and method according to the first embodiment of the present invention does not detect accident sound based on a simple power difference value between samples, but uses a plurality of frames. Accident sound with different rise times can be detected with high accuracy by using it to estimate the accident sound power and comparing it with the average power immediately before.
[0050]
In the first embodiment of the present invention, the accident sound detection method for performing the processes in the above steps S221 to S252 has been described. However, in order to execute an accident sound detection operation including these steps. It is also possible to generate an accident sound detection program and cause the computer to execute an accident sound detection operation including steps S221 to S252 based on the program, and the same effects as described above can be obtained. .

As a method for calculating the autocorrelation function, a known method of directly calculating in the time domain may be used, but a known method of calculating the cross spectrum once in the frequency domain and converting it to the time domain is preferable because it requires less calculation amount. . In any method, it is desirable to secure 10 s or more as the lag length for calculating the autocorrelation function.
[0074]
The period calculating means 542 is means for receiving the autocorrelation information output from the autocorrelation calculating means 541 and calculating the periodicity of the autocorrelation signal and outputting it to 560.
As a method for calculating the period, a method can be used in which the lag of the autocorrelation is changed in a predetermined time range, and the lag at which the autocorrelation has a value greater than or equal to a predetermined value and becomes a maximum is used as the period. At that time, if the autocorrelation is not less than a predetermined value within the time range and there is no maximum lag, the period is not detected. Note that it is preferable to set the time range for changing the lag to about 0.3 s to 10 s, considering that the period of sirens and the like varies depending on the type of emergency vehicle such as an ambulance or police car.
