本発明は本に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来の本は、本文と、この本文を覆う表紙とで構成されており、このような本文と表紙のみからなる本の形態は、長い間変化のない状態が続いている。
また、従来の本は、全体を合成樹脂の袋で閉じた漫画本や写真集などを除き、店頭で立ち読みができる形態となっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
したがって、従来の本の形態は、面白さに欠けるという不具合があった。
また、店頭において、本文頁が読まれてしまうという不具合もあった。
本発明は前記事情に鑑み案出されたものであって、本発明の目的は、その形態に面白さを有し、また、店頭において本文頁を読まれにくいようにした本を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記目的を達成するため本発明は、本文とこの本文を背側から覆う表紙とで構成された本において、第１の紙片と第２の紙片が設けられ、前記第１の紙片は前記本文の中の一枚の紙片に背側が貼着されて配設され、前記第２の紙片は前記第１の紙片と本文の厚さ方向に間隔をおいた本文の中の一枚の紙片に背側が貼着されて配設され、前記第１の紙片は小口から突出するように長く形成され、１冊の本に対して前記第１の紙片と前記第２の紙片とが２つずつ設けられ、前記２つの第１の紙片のうちの一方の第１の紙片の先部が小口側を跨いで前記２つの第２の紙片のうちの一方の第２の紙片に貼着されて第１の紙片と第２の紙片とで本文の紙片部分が挟まれ、この挟まれた本文の紙片部分の中で、他方の第１の紙片の先部が小口側を跨いで他方の第２の紙片に貼着されて他方の第１の紙片と他方の第２の紙片とで本文の紙片部分が挟まれていることを特徴とする。

本発明では、天または地から本を見た場合、従来と同様に、本文の各紙片の縁が見えるが、小口側から本を見ると、小口上に位置する第１の紙片部分が見える。したがって、表表紙と裏表紙の間に、開くことができない本文の単一体が位置している感じとなり、従来の本にはない全く異なった印象や趣き、面白さなどを与えることができる。
また、第１の紙片と第２の紙片とで挟まれた本文部分は、第１の紙片または第２の紙片を破断しない限り読むことができない。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面を参照して説明する。
図１、図２は本発明の第１の実施の形態に係る本で、図１（Ａ）は本を立て表紙を開いた状態を示し、図１（Ｂ）は本を立て表紙を閉じた状態を示し、図２（Ａ）は本を寝かせ表表紙を開いた状態を示し、図１（Ｂ）は本を寝かせ裏表紙を開いた状態を示している。
第１の実施の形態に係る本１０は、本文１２と、この本文１２を背Ｓ側から覆う表紙１４と、表紙１４を覆うカバー１６と、第１の紙片２０と、第２の紙片２２とを備えている。
前記表紙１４は１枚の紙片からなり、表表紙１４０２（図２（Ａ）参照）と裏表紙１４０４（図２（Ｂ）参照）と、これら表表紙１４０２と裏表紙１４０４とを接続する背表紙１４０６（図２（Ａ）、（Ｂ）参照）とで構成され、背表紙１４０６は本文１０の背に貼着されている。
前記カバー１６は１枚の紙片からなり、カバー１６は、表表紙１４０２と、背表紙１４０６と、裏表紙１４０４とにわたって掛け渡されている。
図において符号１８は帯を示し、帯１８はカバー１６の下部に掛け渡されている。

図２（Ａ）、（Ｂ）に示すように、前記第１の紙片２０は、その基端２００２が、本文１２を構成する紙片のうちで表表紙１４０２の直下に位置する紙片の背Ｓ側に貼着されて配設されている。
前記第１の紙片２０の天地方向の高さは本文１２と同一の寸法で形成されている。
また、前記第１の紙片２０は、本１０の小口Ｋから突出するように、本文１２を構成する紙片よりも長く形成されている。
前記第１の紙片２０の背Ｓ寄りの箇所には、背Ｓに平行して切り取り可能な（切り離し可能な、あるいは、切り取りを容易にするための）切り取り線２４が形成されている。この切り取り線２４は例えばミシン目により構成されている。

図２（Ｂ）に示すように、前記第２の紙片２２は、前記第１の紙片２０と本文１２の厚さ方向に間隔をおいた本文１２の中の一枚の紙片に貼着されている。本実施の形態では、第２の紙片２２は、その基端２２０２が、本文１２を構成する紙片のうちで裏表紙１４０４の直上に位置する紙片の背Ｓ側に貼着されて配設されている。
前記第２の紙片２２の天地方向の高さは本文１２と同一の寸法で形成され、小口Ｋ側は本文１２の小口Ｋに合わせて形成されている。
前記第２の紙片２２の背Ｓ寄りの箇所には、背Ｓに平行して切り取り可能な（切り離し可能な、あるいは、切り取りを容易にするための）切り取り線２６が形成されている。この切り取り線２６は例えばミシン目により構成されている。

そして、図２（Ｂ）に示すように、前記第１の紙片２０の小口Ｋから突出する部分で、第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２とで挟まれた本文１２の紙片部分を小口Ｋ側で跨ぎ、第１の紙片２０の先端２０Ａが第２の紙片２２の小口Ｋ寄りの箇所に貼着されている。
したがって、本文１２の全ての頁は、第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２とで挟まれて閉じられた状態となる。
また、図１に示すように、本１０を閉じた状態で小口Ｋ側から本を見ると、表表紙１４０２と裏表紙１４０４の間には本文１２を構成する一枚一枚の紙片の縁は見えず、小口Ｋ上に位置する第１の紙片２０の中間部分２０Ｂのみが見えることになる。

本実施の形態にかかる本１０では、本１０を購入して読む場合、図３（Ａ）、（Ｂ）に示すように、第１、第２の紙片２０、２２をそれぞれ切り取り線２４、２６から切り離す。この場合、夫々切り取り線２４，２６が設けられているので、第１、第２の紙片２０、２２を単に破断する場合に比べ、切り離しを簡単に行なえる。
また、切り離した後も形状の整った天地方向に縦長の矩形の基端２００２，２２０２が残り、本１０の見栄えを劣化させることもない。
このようにして、第１、第２の紙片２０、２２をそれぞれ切り取り線２４、２６から切り離すことで、実施の形態に係る本１０は従来の形態の本と同様になり、本文１２を開いて読める状態となる。

次に、このような本の製造方法について説明する。
多数の折り丁を重ね合わせる前に、図４（Ａ）に示すように、本文１２を構成する紙片のうちで表表紙１４０２の直下に位置する紙片に相当する折り丁３０の紙片３００２に、糊で背Ｓ側を貼着して第１の紙片２０を取り付けておく。そして、三方断裁の際に第１の紙片２０の先部２０Ａが切り落とされないように、小口Ｋの手前に折れ線２０Ｄが位置するように折り返しておく。
また、図４（Ｂ）に示すように、本文１２を構成する紙片のうちで裏表紙１４０４の直上に位置する紙片に相当する折り丁３２の紙片３２０２に、糊で背Ｓ側を貼着して第２の紙片２２を取り付けておく。

そして、このような折り丁３０、３２を含む多数の折り丁を丁合機により重ね合わせ、バインダーにより表紙１４で包むと共に背Ｓを綴じ、三方断裁機により三方断裁する。
次に、カバー１６掛けをし、帯１８を付け、スリップ（売り上げカード）や葉書を投げ込む。
そして、最後に、第１の紙片２０を折れ線２０Ｄから折り戻し、図４（Ｃ）に示すように、第１の紙片２０の小口Ｋから突出する部分で、第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２とで挟まれた本文１２の紙片部分を小口Ｋ側で跨ぎ、第１の紙片２０の先端２０Ａを第２の紙片２２の小口Ｋ寄りの箇所に糊で貼着し、本１０が完成する。

第１の実施の形態にかかる本１０によれば、天または地から本１０を見た場合、従来と同様に、本文１２の各紙片の縁が見えるが、小口Ｋ側から本１０を見ると、本文１２の各紙片の縁は見えず、第１の紙片２０の中間部分２０Ｂが見えるのみである。
したがって、表表紙１４０２と裏表紙１４０４の間に、第１、第２の紙片２０、２２で包れて開くことができない本文１２の単一体が位置している感じとなり、従来の本にはない全く異なった印象や趣き、面白さなどを与えることができる。
したがって、特に店頭において本１０が寝かせた状態で山積みされる場合、需要者の注意を引き、販売量を増大させる上で極めて有利となる。
この場合、特に、本１０を閉じた状態で見える少なくとも中間部分２０Ｂに、本文１０の内容の広告、宣伝を予め印刷しておくこともでき、このようにすれば需要者の注意をより引き、販売量をより一層増大させる上で極めて有利となる。また、中間部分２０Ｂに、本文１２の紙片と異なる色彩を付したり、あるいは、表紙１４と異なる色彩を付したり、模様や文字を付しても、需要者の注意を引き、販売量を増大させる上で極めて有利となる。

また、第１の実施の形態にかかる本１０では、本文１２の全頁が第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２とで挟まれ、第１の紙片２０または第２の紙片２２を破断しない限り本文１２を読むことができないように構成されている。
そのため、従来のように全体を透明な合成樹脂の袋で閉じることなく、店頭での立ち読みを防止することができる。
また、第１の紙片２０または第２の紙片２２が破断されているか否かを見ることで、本１０が売り物であるのか中古本であるのかを簡単に判別でき、ブックオフ対策上も極めて有利となる。

次に、図５、図６を参照して前記第１の実施の形態の変形例について説明する。
なお、この変形例およびその他の実施の形態の説明において、前記第１の実施の形態と同様な箇所部材に同一の符号を付して説明する。
この変形例では、第１、第２の紙片２０、２２の切り取り線２４，２６の位置が前記実施の形態と異なっている。
すなわち、図５（Ａ）、（Ｂ）に示すように、前記第１の紙片２０は、その基端２００２が、本文１２を構成する紙片のうちで表表紙１４０２の直下に位置する紙片の背Ｓ側に貼着されて配設されている点において前記実施の形態と同様であるが、背Ｓに平行して切り取り可能な切り取り線２４は、本１０の小口Ｋ寄りに位置して設けられている。

また、図５（Ｂ）に示すように、前記第２の紙片２２も、その基端２２０２が、本文１２を構成する紙片のうちで裏表紙１４０４の直下に位置する紙片の背Ｓ側に貼着されて配設されている点において前記実施の形態と同様であるが、背Ｓに平行して切り取り可能な切り取り線２６が、本１０の小口Ｋ寄りに位置して設けられている。
そして、前記第１の紙片２０の小口Ｋから突出する部分で、第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２とで挟まれた本文１２の紙片部分を小口Ｋ側で跨ぎ、第１の紙片２０の先端２０Ａが第２の紙片２２の前記切り取り線２６よりも小口Ｋ寄りの箇所に貼着されている。

このような変形例によっても前記第１の実施の形態と同様な作用、効果が得られ、さらに、この変形例では次の効果も得られる。
図６（Ａ）、（Ｂ）に示すように、第１、第２の紙片２０、２２をそれぞれ切り取り線２４、２６から切り離すと、切り取り線２４、２６部分を小口Ｋ側の縁とした形状の整った残存紙片２０１０，２２１０が残る。
この残存紙片２０１０，２２１０は、本文１２の紙片よりも若干小さいものの文字や絵を描くには十分な大きさを有し、したがって、この残存紙片２０１０，２２１０を扉として利用できる。
すなわち、残存紙片２０１０，２２１０に、本文１０にまつわる内容の事項や、あるいは、広告、宣伝、絵、模様などを予め印刷しておくことで、残存紙片２０１０，２２１０は扉として機能し、本１０の商品価値をより一層高める上で有利となる。
なお、このように残存紙片２０１０，２２１０を扉として利用する場合、残存紙片２０１０，２２１０の背Ｓと小口Ｋ間の寸法は、本文１２の背Ｓと小口Ｋ間の寸法のほぼ１／２程度の値を有していることが好ましく、１／２以上であればより好ましい。

つぎに、本発明の第２の実施の形態について説明する。
図７は第２の実施の形態に係る本で、図７（Ａ）は本を立て表紙を開いた状態を示し、図７（Ｂ）は本を立て表紙を閉じた状態を示し、図７（Ｃ）は本を寝かせ第１の紙片２０よりも上方の本文部分および表表紙を開いた状態を示している。
第２の実施の形態に係る本１０では、第１の紙片２０の配設箇所が前記第１の実施の形態と異なっている。
すなわち、第２の実施の形態では、第１の紙片２０は、本文１２の厚さ方向の中間に位置する一枚の紙片に、その基端２００２が背Ｓ側に貼着されて配設され、第１の紙片２０には切り取り線２４が形成されている。
第２の紙片２２は、前記実施の形態と同様に、その基端２２０２が、裏表紙１４０４の直上に位置する紙片の背Ｓ側に貼着されて配設され、第２の紙片２２には切り取り線２６が形成されている。
第２の実施の形態にかかる本１０では、本１０を購入して読む場合、第１の実施の形態にかかる本１０と同様に、第１、第２の紙片２０、２２をそれぞれ切り取り線２４、２６から切り離し、本文１２を開いて読むことになる。

第２の実施の形態にかかる本１０によれば、天または地から本１０を見た場合、従来と同様に、本文１２の各紙片の縁が見えるが、小口Ｋ側から本１０を見ると、本文１２の一部の紙片の縁は見えるものの、残りの一部の紙片の縁は見えず第１の紙片２０の中間部分２０Ｂが見えるようになっている。

また、第２の実施の形態にかかる本１０では、裏表紙１４０４側に位置する本文１２の一部が第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２で挟まれ、第１の紙片２０または第２の紙片２２を破断しない限り本文１２を読むことができないものの、表表紙１４０２側に位置する本文１２の一部は、第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２で挟まれておらず、開いて読むことができるようになっている。
したがって、第１の紙片２０を貼着する紙片を、例えば、本文１２の内容の出だし部分が終わる箇所とし、内容がこれから面白くなるといった本文頁を第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２で挟まみ、読むことができないようにすることができる。このようにすると、店頭において、購買者は、本文１２の内容の出だし部分まで読むことができ、これにより、これから先を読みたいといった気持ちを換気させ、したがって、販売量をより一層増大させる上で有利となる。
なお、第２の実施の形態においても、第１の紙片２０または第２の紙片２２が破断されているか否かを見ることで、本１０が売り物であるのか中古本であるのかを簡単に判別でき、ブックオフ対策上も有利となる。

次に、図８を参照して前記第２の実施の形態の変形例について説明する。
この変形例では、第１、第２の紙片２０、２２の切り取り線２４，２６の位置が前記実施の形態と異なっている。
すなわち、図８（Ａ）に示すように、前記第１の紙片２０は、その基端２００２が、本文１２の厚さ方向の中間に位置する一枚の紙片の背Ｓ側に貼着されて配設されている点において前記実施の形態と同様であるが、背Ｓに平行して切り取り可能な切り取り線２４は、本１０の小口Ｋ寄りに位置して設けられている。
また、前記第２の紙片２２も、図５（Ｂ）に示すように、前記第２の紙片２２も、その基端２２０２が、本文１２を構成する紙片のうちで裏表紙１４０４の直上に位置する紙片の背Ｓ側に貼着されて配設されている点において前記実施の形態と同様であるが、背Ｓに平行して切り取り可能な切り取り線２６が、本１０の小口Ｋ寄りに位置して設けられている。
そして、前記第１の紙片２０の小口Ｋから突出する部分で、第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２とで挟まれた本文１２の紙片部分を小口Ｋ側で跨ぎ、第１の紙片２０の先端２０Ａが第２の紙片２２の前記切り取り線２６よりも小口Ｋ寄りの箇所に貼着されている。

このような変形例によっても前記第２の実施の形態と同様な作用、効果が得られ、さらに、この変形例では次の効果も得られる。
図８（Ｂ）、図６（Ｂ）に示すように、第１、第２の紙片２０、２２をそれぞれ切り取り線２４、２６から切り離すと、切り取り線２４、２６部分を小口Ｋ側の縁とした形状の整った残存紙片２０１０，２２１０が残る。
この残存紙片２０１０，２２１０は、本文１２の紙片よりも若干小さいものの文字や絵を描くには十分な大きさを有し、したがって、この残存紙片２０１０，２２１０を扉として利用できる。

特に、残存紙片２０１０は、本文１２の厚さ方向の中間に位置することから、扉としての機能がより発揮され、さらに、第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２とで挟まれた本文１２の内容にまつわる事項や絵、模様などを記載することで、扉としての機能が一層発揮されることになり、本１０の商品価値をより一層高める上で有利となる。
なお、この場合も、残存紙片２０１０，２２１０の背Ｓと小口Ｋ間の寸法は、本文１２の背Ｓと小口Ｋ間の寸法のほぼ１／２程度の値を有していることが好ましく、１／２以上であればより好ましい。

なお、前記第１の実施の形態や第２の実施の形態では、第１の紙片２０の天地方向の寸法が均一の値である場合について説明したが、例えば、第１の実施の形態では、図９（Ａ）に示すように、小口Ｋ上に位置する第１の紙片２０の中間部分２０Ｂに上下に縦長の窓２０５０を形成し、小口Ｋ上に位置する中間部分２０Ｂ部分を、天側と地側で夫々延在する２つの帯２０５２で形成するようにしてもよい。また、第２の実施の形態でも同様に、図９（Ｂ）に示すように、小口Ｋ上に位置する第１の紙片２０の中間部分２０Ｂに上下に縦長の窓２０５０を形成し、小口Ｋ上に位置する中間部分２０Ｂ部分を、天側と地側で夫々延在する２つの帯２０５２で形成するようにしてもよい。
また、前記第１の実施の形態や第２の実施の形態では、１冊の本１０に対してそれぞれ第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２とを一つずつ設けた場合について説明したが、図１０（Ａ）に示すように、１冊の本１０に対して本文１２の厚さ方向に沿ってそれぞれ第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２とを２つ以上設けるようにしてもよく、この場合には、小口Ｋ上に２つの中間部分２０Ｂが位置することになる。
さらに、１冊の本１０に対して第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２とを２つ以上設ける場合、図１０（Ｂ）に示すように、一方の第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２とで挟まれた本文１２部分の間に、もう一方の第１の紙片２０‘と第２の紙片２２‘とを設けるようにしてもよい。この場合には、一方の第１の紙片２０の先部が小口Ｋ側を跨いで一方の第２の紙片２２に貼着されて第１の紙片２０と第２の紙片２２とで本文１２の紙片部分が挟まれ、この挟まれた本文１２の紙片部分の中に、他方の第１の紙片２０‘の先部が小口Ｋ側を跨いで他方の第２の紙片２２‘に貼着されて第１の紙片２０‘と第２の紙片２２‘とで本文１２の紙片部分が挟まれることになる。

以上の説明で明らかなように本発明法によれば、形態に面白さを有し、また、店頭において本文頁を読まれにくいようにした本が得られる。
