【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ビデオＣＤ（Compact Disk）やＣＤ等のランダムアクセスメディアであるディスクを再生するディスクプレーヤーに係り、詳しくは再生箇所より所定時間後又は前にタイムスキップするためのタイムスキップ機能を有するディスクプレーヤーに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
近年、マルチメディアの進展に伴い、ＣＤやビデオＣＤといったランダムアクセスメディアであるディスクが急速に普及しつつある。このようなランダムアクセスメディアであるディスクは磁気記録技術に基づくテープ系メディアに比較して、高忠実度化、高密度化、操作性の向上、多機能化など優れた特長がある。

図７は従来のディスクプレーヤーであるビデオＣＤ／ＣＤプレーヤーのプレーヤー本体を示す概略正面図である。プレーヤー本体５１はビデオＣＤ及びＣＤの兼用のプレーヤーであり、フロントパネル５２の中央上部にビデオＣＤ及びＣＤを装着するためのディスクトレイ５３、ディスクトレイ５３の下方に再生状態を表示する表示部５５、フロントパネル５２の左側に電源スイッチ５６、フロントパネル５２の右側にディスクトレイ５３を引き出したり戻すためのディスクトレイ釦５７、再生を開始するためのプレイ釦５８、再生を一時停止するためのポーズ釦５９、途中で再生をやめるためのストップ釦６０、再生中押すことにより早戻しスキップするための早戻し釦６１、再生中押すことにより早送りスキップするための早送り釦６２が設けられている。

図８は従来のビデオＣＤ／ＣＤプレーヤーのリモートコントローラーの正面図である。リモートコントローラー（リモコン）６３の長手方向の上部には上から順番に電源スイッチ６５、再生を開始するためのプレイ釦６７、再生を一時停止するためのポーズ釦６８、途中で再生をやめるためのストップ釦６９、再生中押すことにより早戻しスキップするための早戻し／PREVIOUS釦７０、再生中押すことにより早送りスキップするための早送り／NEXT釦７１、及び後述するプレイバック・コントロールのためのキーでリターンすべき再生アイテムへ戻るためのリターンキー７６が設けられている。なお、早送り／NEXT釦７１を押すことにより、図示せぬディスプレイ装置に表示される画面を次のメニュー画面等へ画面を切り換えることができ、早戻し／PREVIOUS釦７０を押すことにより、前のメニュー画面等へ画面を切り換えることができる。

リモコン６３の下部には０から９までの数字キーであるテンキー７８と、１回押すごとにプラス１０数字を増加させる＋１０キー７９と、テンキー７８や＋１０キー７９の直前の入力を取り消すクリアキー８０が設けられている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、上述のようなビデオＣＤ／ＣＤプレーヤーでは、映画等を収めたビデオＣＤを再生する場合、１つのトラックが長くなるため、所望の画面を見るために飛ばしたい場合がある。リモコン６３の早送り／NEXT釦７１又はプレーヤー本体５１の早送り釦６２を押すと早送り再生となり、例えば１０秒前後毎にビデオＣＤからのデータを読み飛ばし、最初に見つかった１画像のみ表示しているが、これでは時間がかかりすぎ、操作が面倒である。

そこで、ビデオＣＤのVer2.0ではプレイバック・コントロール機能を有し、図示せぬディスプレイ装置に表示されたメニュー画面に示された項目をリモコン６３のテンキー７８等により選択することによって特定の場所へダイレクト・ジャンプしたり、同じデータを繰り返し再生するなど、あらかじめ決められた約束に従って再生できるようになっているが、操作が１キーでできるようなものではなく、リモコン６３側の複雑なキー操作が必要であった。

また、１曲あたりの演奏時間が長い例えばクラシック音楽等が１曲又はラストトラックに録音されているＣＤを再生する場合に、再生を所望の箇所まで飛ばしたい時がある。リモコン６３の早送り／NEXT釦７１又はプレーヤー本体５１の早送り釦６２を１回押すと、次の曲の始まり、即ちここでは録音されているクラシック音楽の最初の曲の始まりへ進んでしまい、途中スキップできない。一方、ＣＤを再生中にプレーヤー本体５１の早送り釦６２又は早戻し釦６１を押し続けると再生をスキップすることができるが、１秒単位でスキップ可能となっているので、演奏時間が長い例えばクラシック音楽等の所望の箇所に到達するには、早送り釦６２又は早戻し釦６１をその間押し続けなければならず、所望の箇所に到達するのは容易なことではなかった。

そこで、本発明は、ビデオＣＤやＣＤ等のランダムアクセスメディアであるディスクの再生において、簡単なキー操作により再生中の音又は音と映像の位置を所定時間前又は所定時間後の位置にタイムスキップが可能なように構成したディスクプレーヤーを提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明に係る第１のディスクプレーヤーは、音又は音と映像を記録したディスクを再生するディスクプレーヤーにおいて、ディスクの再生中の音又は音と映像の位置を所定時間前又は所定時間後の位置にタイムスキップするよう操作するためのタイムスキップ操作手段と、ディスクの再生中の音又は音と映像を早送りする早送り釦及び早戻しする早戻し釦と、ディスクの再生中の音又は音と映像がラストトラックであることを検知するラストトラック検知手段とを備え、ラストトラック検知手段がラストトラックを検知した場合に、早送り釦及び早戻し釦が、タイスキップ操作手段として機能することを特徴とするものである。

本発明に係る第１のディスクプレーヤーでは、ディスクの再生中の音又は音と映像がラストトラックであることを検知した場合に、早送り釦及び早戻し釦を操作することにより再生中の音又は音と映像の位置を所定時間前又は所定時間後の位置にタイムスキップして再生を続けることができる。
本発明に係る第２のディスクプレーヤーは、音又は音と映像を記録したディスクを再生するディスクプレーヤーにおいて、ディスクの再生中の音又は音と映像を早送りする早送り釦及び早戻しする早戻し釦と、ディスクの再生中の音又は音と映像がラストトラックであることを検知するラストトラック検知手段とを備え、ラストトラック検知手段がラストトラックを検知した場合に、早送り釦及び早戻し釦を所定時間押すことにより、ディスクの再生中の音又は音と映像の位置が、所定時間前又は所定時間後の位置にタイムスキップするようになされることを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面に沿って本発明に係るディスクプレーヤーの実施の形態の一例を説明する。図１は本発明に係るディスクプレーヤーであるビデオＣＤ／ＣＤプレーヤーのプレーヤー本体を示す概略正面図である。ビデオＣＤ／ＣＤプレーヤーのプレーヤー本体１はビデオＣＤ及びＣＤの兼用のプレーヤーであり、フロントパネル２の中央上部にビデオＣＤ及びＣＤを装着するためのディスクトレイ３、ディスクトレイ３の下方に再生状態を表示する表示部５、フロントパネル２の左側に電源スイッチ６が設けられている。

フロントパネル２の右側にはディスクトレイ３を引き出したり戻すためのディスクトレイ釦７、再生を開始するためのプレイ釦８、再生を一時停止するためのポーズ釦９、途中で再生をやめるためのストップ釦１０、再生中押すことにより早戻しスキップするための早戻し釦１２、再生中押すことにより早送りスキップするための早送り釦１３、再生中１回押すごとに例えば５分間前にタイムスキップするよう操作するためのタイムスキップ操作手段であるタイムスキップ早戻し釦１４、再生中１回押すごとに例えば５分間後にタイムスキップするよう操作するためのタイムスキップ操作手段であるタイムスキップ早送り釦１５が設けられている。

本発明はビデオＣＤ又はＣＤの再生中、タイムスキップ早戻し釦１４又はタイムスキップ早送り釦１５を１回押す毎に例えば５分間前又は５分間後にタイムスキップできるように構成したものである。

図２はビデオＣＤ／ＣＤプレーヤーのリモートコントローラーの正面図である。リモートコントローラー（リモコン）２１の長手方向の上部には上から順番に電源スイッチ２２、再生を開始するためのプレイ釦２３、再生を一時停止するためのポーズ釦２４、途中で再生をやめるためのストップ釦２５、再生中押すことにより早戻しスキップするための早戻し／PREVIOUS釦２６、再生中押すことにより早送りスキップするための早送り／NEXT釦２７、再生中１回押すごとに例えば５分間前にタイムスキップするためのタイムスキップ操作手段であるタイムスキップ早戻し釦２８、再生中１回押すごとに例えば５分間後にタイムスキップするためのタイムスキップ操作手段であるタイムスキップ早送り釦２９が設けられている。

リモコン２１の中央部にはジョイスティック３１が設けられ、このジョイスティック３１は、後述するテレビジョン４８の画面に表示されたカーソルを所望の方向に移動させるためのカーソル方向キー３２と、カーソル方向キー３２により移動したカーソルによりメニューを選択したり、キー入力を決定したりする選択キー３３からなっている。更に、リモコン２１の中央部にはリターンすべき再生アイテムへ戻るためのリターンキー３５が設けられている。なお、早送り／NEXT釦２７を押すことにより、次のメニュー画面等へ画面を切り換えることができ、早戻し／PREVIOUS釦２６を押すことにより、前のメニュー画面等へ画面を切り換えることができる。

リモコン２１の下部には０から９までの数字キーであるテンキー３６と、１回押すごとにプラス１０数字を増加させる＋１０キー３７と、テンキー３６や＋１０キー３７の入力を取り消すクリアキー３８が設けられている。例えば、ＣＤで聞きたい曲を指定する場合には、プレイ釦２３を押してからすぐに聞きたい曲の曲番号をテンキー３６により押すと、聞きたい曲が再生されるようになっている。５番目の曲はテンキー３６の５キーを押し、２０番目の曲は＋１０キー３７を２度押すことによりダイレクトに選曲することができる。

図３は本発明に係るビデオＣＤ／ＣＤプレーヤーの概略ブロック図である。リモコン２１から赤外線や無線等で発信されたコマンドは、プレーヤー本体１の操作部４０で受信され、マイクロコンピュータ（以下、マイコンと略す）４１に入力され制御される。操作部４０は電源スイッチ６、ディスクトレイ釦７、プレイ釦８、ポーズ釦９、ストップ釦１０、早戻し釦１２、早送り釦１３、タイムスキップ早戻し釦１４、タイムスキップ早送り釦１５等から構成されている。マイコン４１の出力信号は表示部５に出力されると共に、画面表示信号作成手段であるオンスクリーンディスプレイ（ＯＳＤ）部４２に出力される。マイコン４１はＣＤドライブ４３と通信を行うことによってＣＤの目的位置（セクタまたはトラック）に図示せぬ光ピックアップを移動させて再生するようになっている。

ＣＤドライブ４３には再生中の映像又は音声が最終トラックであることを検知するラストトラック検知手段４７が設けられ、このラストトラック検知手段４７からの検知信号がマイコン４１に入力され処理される。ＣＤドライブ４３からの信号が映像／音声処理回路４５に入力され処理されると共に、オンスクリーンディスプレイ部４２からの画面表示信号が映像／音声処理回路４５に入力され処理される。映像／音声処理回路４５からの映像／音声信号がテレビジョン４８等に出力されるようになっている。なお、この実施の形態ではラストトラック検知手段４７は必ずしも設ける必要はなく、省くことができる。

次に、ビデオＣＤの再生動作について説明する。図４はVer2.0のビデオＣＤの再生動作概要図である。先ず、プレーヤー本体１の電源スイッチ６を押して電源を入れ、ディスクトレイ釦７を押してディスクトレイ３を引き出し、ディスクトレイ３上に例えば映画を録画したビデオＣＤを置き、ディスクトレイ釦７を再度押してディスクトレイ３を戻し、ビデオＣＤをプレーヤー本体１にセットする。次いで、プレーヤー本体１のプレイ釦８又はリモコン２１のプレイ釦２３を押すと、テレビジョン４８に静止画の後にメニュー形式の画面（表示画面０）が表示される。

そして、表示画面０でリモコン２１のテンキー３６の１キーを押してプレーヤー本体１に入力すると、又はジョイスティック３１のカーソル方向キー３２を操作して番号(1)にカーソルを移動させ、選択キー３３を押して選択すると、表示画面1-1が表示され、早送り／NEXT釦２７を押すと、表示画面1-2が表示され、次いで早送り／NEXT釦２７を押すと、表示画面1-3が表示される。この時、早戻し／PREVIOUS釦２６を押すと、直前の表示画面に戻ることができる。更に、表示画面1-1の時に、リモコン２１のリターンキー３５を押すと、トップのメニュー画面である表示画面０に戻るようになっている。

また、表示画面０でリモコン２１のテンキー３６の２キーを押してプレーヤー本体１に入力すると、又はジョイスティック３１のカーソル方向キー３２を操作して番号(2)にカーソルを移動させ、選択キー３３を押して選択すると、表示画面２が表示され、（１）０５分００秒、（２）２１分００秒、（３）６５分３０秒という指定時間が表示される。ここで、テンキー３６の１キーを押すと、表示画面2-1となり０５分００秒から終わりまで再生され、またテンキー３６の２キーを押すと、表示画面2-2となり２１分００秒から終わりまで再生され、またテンキー３６の３キーを押すと、表示画面2-3となり６５分３０秒から終わりまで再生される。表示画面2-1，2-2，2-3の時、早送り／NEXT釦２７を押すと、次の表示画面である表示画面2-2，2-3，２が表示され、表示画面2-2，2-3の時、早戻し／PREVIOUS釦２６を押すと、直前の表示画面である表示画面2-1，2-2に戻ることができる。更に、表示画面2-1，2-2，2-3の時に、リモコン２１のリターンキー３５を押すと、表示画面２に戻り、表示画面２でリターンキー３５を押すと、トップのメニュー画面である表示画面０に戻るようになっている。

また、表示画面０でリモコン２１のテンキー３６の３キーを押してプレーヤー本体１に入力すると、又はジョイスティック３１のカーソル方向キー３２を操作して番号(3)にカーソルを移動させ、選択キー３３を押して選択すると、表示画面３が表示され、先頭から全編動画再生される。この時、リモコン２１のリターンキー３５又は早送り／NEXT釦２７を押すと、トップのメニュー画面である表示画面０に戻るようになっている。

従って、表示画面２の(1)から(3)の選択により、指定された時間をビデオＣＤに記録されている時間から探し出したところの位置から再生する「時間指定によるダイレクト・ジャンプ再生」が可能である。このように、Ver2.0のビデオＣＤではプレイバック・コントロール機能により、メニュー画面に示された項目をリモコン２１の各種キーにより選択することによって特定の場所へダイレクト・ジャンプしたり、同じデータを繰り返し再生するなど、あらかじめ決められた約束に従って再生できるようになっている。

次に、プレーヤー本体１のタイムスキップ早戻し釦１４とタイムスキップ早送り釦１５又はリモコン２１のタイムスキップ早戻し釦２８とタイムスキップ早送り釦２９の機能について説明する。プレーヤー本体１のタイムスキップ早戻し釦１４とタイムスキップ早送り釦１５は、リモコン２１のタイムスキップ早戻し釦２８とタイムスキップ早送り釦２９と同一の機能なので、プレーヤー本体１のタイムスキップ早戻し釦１４とタイムスキップ早送り釦１５についてのみ説明する。

ビデオＣＤに録画された映画の再生中、タイムスキップ早戻し釦１４を１回押す毎に、そのコマンドがマイコン４１に入力され処理され、マイコン４１からの出力によりＣＤドライブ４３の光ピックアップを移動させて、例えば５分間前にタイムスキップして５分前の画面にジャンプしてから再生が行われる。一方、ビデオＣＤに録画された映画の再生中、タイムスキップ早送り釦１５を１回押す毎に、そのコマンドがマイコン４１に入力され処理され、マイコン４１からの出力によりＣＤドライブ４３の光ピックアップを移動させて、例えば５分間後にタイムスキップして５分間後の画面にジャンプしてから再生が行われるようになっている。

また、演奏時間の長い曲を録音したＣＤの再生中、タイムスキップ早戻し釦１４を１回押す毎に、例えば５分間前にタイムスキップして５分間前の位置にジャンプしてから再生が行われ、タイムスキップ早送り釦１５を１回押す毎に例えば５分間後にタイムスキップして５分間後の位置にジャンプしてから再生が行われるようになっている。

従って、オペレータは再生画面を見ながら又は再生音を聞きながら、タイムスキップ早戻し釦１４とタイムスキップ早送り釦１５を任意の回数押すことにより、例えば映画又は曲の所望の位置に簡易に素早くアクセスすることができる。

次に、第２の実施の形態のビデオＣＤ／ＣＤプレーヤーについて説明する。図５は第２の実施の形態のビデオＣＤ／ＣＤプレーヤーのプレーヤー本体の概略正面図である。第２の実施の形態のビデオＣＤ／ＣＤプレーヤーのプレーヤー本体１′はタイムスキップ早戻し釦１４とタイムスキップ早送り釦１５を有しておらず、早戻し釦１２′と早送り釦１３′にその機能を兼用させており、またラストトラック検知手段４７を有しており、その他は上述した第１の実施の形態のプレーヤー本体１と同様に構成されている。

図６は第２の実施の形態のビデオＣＤ／ＣＤプレーヤーのリモコンの正面図である。第２の実施の形態のビデオＣＤ／ＣＤプレーヤーのリモコン２１′もタイムスキップ早戻し釦２８とタイムスキップ早送り釦２９を有しておらず、早戻し／PREVIOUS釦２６′と早送り／NEXT釦２７′にその機能を兼用させたものであり、その他は上述した第１の実施の形態のリモコン２１と同様に構成されている。

プレーヤー本体１′で再生中、ラストトラック検知手段４７がラストトラックを再生していることを検知した場合には、プレーヤー本体１′の早戻し釦１２′又は早送り釦１３′はタイムスキップ操作手段として機能し、早戻し釦１２′又は早送り釦１３′を所定の時間押す（又は連続して複数回、例えば２回押す）ことにより例えば５分間のタイムスキップするように構成されている。同様に、プレーヤー本体１′で再生中、ラストトラック検知手段４７がラストトラックを再生していることを検知した場合には、リモコン２１′の早戻し／PREVIOUS釦２６′又は早送り／NEXT釦２７′はタイムスキップ操作手段として機能し、早戻し／PREVIOUS釦２６′又は早送り／NEXT釦２７′を所定の時間押す（又は連続して複数回、例えば２回押す）ことにより例えば５分間のタイムスキップするように構成されている。これにより、キーを新設しなくても、上述した第１の実施の形態と同様の効果が得られ、コストの削減を図ることができる。

なお、上述第２の実施の形態では、ラストトラック検知手段によりラストトラックを再生していることを検知した場合、プレーヤー本体１′の早戻し釦１２′と早送り釦１３′、及びリモコン２１′の早戻し／PREVIOUS釦２６′と早送り／NEXT釦２７′がタイムスキップ操作手段として機能するとしたが、これに限らず、ラストトラック検知手段がなく、プレーヤー本体１′の早戻し釦１２′と早送り釦１３′、及びリモコン２１′の早戻し／PREVIOUS釦２６′と早送り／NEXT釦２７′が常にタイムスキップ操作手段として機能するように構成してもよく、更に、早戻し釦１２′又は早送り釦１３′を押すと同時に他の釦、例えばポーズ釦９を押すことによりタイムスキップするように構成してもよい。

上述第１乃至第２の実施の形態では、ビデオＣＤとＣＤの兼用のプレーヤーとしたが、これに限らず、ＣＤプレーヤー、ＭＤプレーヤー等ランダムアクセスメディアであるディスクを再生する他のディスクプレーヤーであってもよいことは勿論である。

プレーヤー本体及びリモコンにタイムスキップ釦を設けるか、または既設のキーにタイムスキップ機能をもたせたが、これに限らず、プレーヤー本体とリモコンのいづれか一方にタイムスキップ釦を設けるか、またはプレーヤー本体とリモコンのいづれか一方の既設のキーにタイムスキップ機能をもたせるよう構成してもよい。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明に係る第１及び第２のディスクプレーヤーによれば、ラストトラック検知手段がラストトラックを検知した場合に、オペレータは再生画面を見ながら又は再生音を聞きながら、早送り釦及び早戻し釦を操作することにより、再生中の映像又は音の位置を所定時間前又は所定時間後の位置にタイムスキップすることができ、例えば映画又は曲の所望の位置を簡易に素早くアクセスすることができる。

また、既設の早送り釦及び早戻し釦にタイムスキップ操作手段を兼用させた場合には、タイムスキップ専用の釦を新設しなくてもよく、コストが上昇するのを防ぎ、コストの削減を図ることができる。
