本発明は、美容などの目的のために体毛を脱毛するのに使用される脱毛装置に関するものである。

従来から、美容などの目的のために体毛を脱毛するのに使用される脱毛装置として、2つの脱毛手段を有するものが、国際特許公開WO96/04815号(従来例1)、特開昭52−72670号公報(従来例2)、特開平9−56446号公報(従来例3)、米国特許第5011485号(従来例4)により知られている。

上記従来例のうち、従来例1には2つの脱毛手段の伝達駆動については明示されてない。

また、従来例2,従来例3のものは2つの脱毛手段が同一方向へ回転し、同一側面で伝達駆動をしている。

しかして、上記従来例2乃至従来例4においては、いずれも、2つの脱毛手段の伝達駆動手段が、脱毛手段の一方の側面で行われており、このため、同一側面側のギアによる駆動音が大きくなるという問題がある。また、2つの脱毛手段の伝達駆動手段が、脱毛手段の一方の側面で行われているため、脱毛手段の肌面側で伝達ギア強度が必要で、ギア幅が厚くなり、脱毛手段の回転軸方向や回転軸と直交する幅方向が大きくなり、脱毛しようとする部位が見えにくくなったり、毛を狙いにくくなったり、使い勝手が悪いという問題がある。特に、腋等の凹部では肌面側の肌当て面が大きいと、肌への密着が悪く、抜き残しや短い毛が抜けず、脱毛効率が悪いという問題がある。

本発明は上記の点に鑑みてなされたものであり、伝達駆動音が少なく、脱毛部位が見やすく、毛が狙いやすく、使い勝手がよく、小型で、肌接触面の少ない腋等の凹部でも脱毛効率の良い脱毛装置を提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために、本発明に係る脱毛装置は、手で把持できる本体に毛を引き抜くための回転又は回動する脱毛手段を前後2つ平行に設けたものにおいて、一方の脱毛手段を回転又は回動するためのギア列よりなる伝達駆動手段をこの一方の脱毛手段の軸方向の一方の側面側に設け、他方の脱毛手段を回転又は回動するための伝達駆動手段をこの他方の脱毛手段の軸方向の他方の側面側に設け、前後2つの脱毛手段を互いに逆方向に回転又は回動させると共に、主ギアから脱毛手段への伝達において伝達駆動手段が一方の脱毛手段側と他方の脱毛手段側のギア段数が奇数個異なるように設けて成ることを特徴とするものである。このような構成とすることで、伝達駆動手段が両側面に位置して伝達駆動音が分散され、伝達駆動音が小さくなり、また,脱毛手段を回転又は回動駆動する負荷が小さくなって、ギア幅を薄くできて回転軸方向の肌当て面の長さを小さくでき、また、中央近くで伝達できるため回転軸方向と直交する側の幅を小さくでき、肌接触面を小さくできて使い勝手が良くなり、また、構造が簡単で組み立てやすく、しかも、前後2つの脱毛手段を互いに逆方向に回転又は回動させると共に、主ギアから脱毛手段への伝達において伝達駆動手段が一方の脱毛手段側と他方の脱毛手段側のギア段数が奇数個異なるように設けてあるので、脱毛手段のヘッドを小さくしたままで各脱毛手段の回転方向を逆にすることができて、腋等の毛の生え方向の異なる脱毛が容易にできる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を説明する。

脱毛装置は、図1乃至図5に示すようにモータ11を内蔵する装置ケーシングを構成する本体1と、脱毛手段を内蔵する2つの脱毛ブロック2とから構成してある。本体1は、二つ割りのハウジング10内に上記モータ11、モータ11の出力軸に取り付けたピニオン4と噛合するフェイスギア5、フェイスギア5に一体に設けられるギア5aと噛合する中間ギア6、中間ギア6と噛合し一方の脱毛ブロック2を駆動させる駆動ギア7、中間ギア6と噛合した他方の脱毛ブロック2を駆動する駆動ギア8、9を内装し、また、ハウジング10の下部に電源ジャック14を固定した下カバー3を取り付け、更に、ハウジング10にモータ11をオン、オフするためのスイッチ15を設けて構成してある。

脱毛ブロック2は図2、図6乃至図9に示すように、基台となる爪取付台20に脱毛ブロック2の回転軸J4に平行に且つ円周に所定間隔で配置された3つの爪ブロック21と、脱毛ブロック2を回転させるために駆動ギア7または駆動ギア9と噛合し爪取付台20に連結される爪取付台ギア50とからなるものとして形成してある。ここで、2つの脱毛ブロック2は本体1の上部の前後に回転軸J4が平行となるように配置されるものであるが、一方の脱毛ブロック2には軸方向の一方の片側に爪取付台ギア50が設けられ、他方の脱毛ブロック2には軸方向の他方の片側に爪取付台ギア50が設けられるものである。

脱毛ブロック2の駆動は以下のようにして行われる。すなわち、モータ11の回転に伴い軸J1に取り付けられたフェイスギア5が回転すると、それに伴い軸J2に取り付けられている中間ギア6がギア5aによって回転伝達されて、更に軸J3に取り付けられている駆動ギア8を介して駆動ギア9が一方の脱毛ブロック2の爪取付台20に連結された爪取付台ギア50を回転させる。他方の脱毛ブロック2は、爪取付台ギア50が一方の脱毛ブロック2とは反対側に設けられていて、中間ギア6の回転駆動を駆動ギア8、9とは反対側に設けられた駆動ギア7に伝達し、他方の脱毛ブロック2を回転させている。このように一方の脱毛ブロック2の駆動手段を当該脱毛ブロック2の軸方向の一方の端部側に設け、これと平行な他方の脱毛ブロック2の駆動手段を当該脱毛ブロック2の軸方向の他方の端部側に設けることで(つまり駆動手段が両側に配置するように設けることで)、一方の側面に駆動音が集中することなく、両側面に分散されて、音の低い脱毛装置とすることができるものである。また、図1、図3、図4に示す実施形態のように伝達手段をギア列にすることで、組み立て性がよく、構造を簡略化できるものである。また、ギア段数を一方の脱毛ブロック2を回転させる方を偶数数段(駆動ギア7、8)、他方の脱毛ブロック2を回転させるギア段数を奇数段(駆動ギア9)にすることで、2つの脱毛ブロック2を互いに異なる方向に回転することができ、腋などの毛の生え方向の異なる部位をそれぞれの適した脱毛ブロック2で抜くことができるものである。また、この時、図4、図5に示すように両側面に設けた駆動ギア7、8、9の各回転中心がいずれも前後の脱毛ブロック2の回転軸J4からずれた位置で且つ前後の脱毛ブロック2の回転軸J4間に挟まれた領域に配置してあり、これにより、ギアを設けるにも係わらず回転軸J4と直交する方向の幅を小さくできることになる。また、この場合更に、駆動ギア7と駆動ギア8とが側面から見て重なる位置にあり、これにより、更にギアを設けるにも係わらず回転軸J4と直交する方向の幅を小さくできることになる。

開閉レバー33の前面には一定間隔でスリット溝33aが形成してあり、また、開閉レバー33の一端部の一側面側からリブ33bが設けてある。開閉レバー34の前面には一定間隔でスリット溝34aが形成してあり、また、開閉レバー34の他端部の他側面側からリブ34bが設けてあり、一対の開閉レバー33、34を並べた状態で、リブ33bが開閉レバー34の他端部(突部34aを設けていない方の端部)と対向し、リブ34bが開閉レバー33の他端部(リブ33bを設けていない方の端部)と対向させ、リブ33bと開閉レバー34の他端部との間乃至リブ34bと開閉レバー33の他端部との間にコイルスプリングのようなばね36を介在させ、この状態で、一対の開閉レバー33、34のリブ33b、34bをそれぞれ爪支持部材35のフック部35aにスライド自在に嵌め込むことで、一対の開閉レバー33を爪支持部材35に組み込むものである。その後、可動爪32の突部32aが前後で反対になるように、開閉レバー33、34のスリット溝33a、33bに嵌め込む。この時、嵌め込んだ状態で開閉レバー33、34はばね36の付勢により互いに反対側に押されるが、可動爪32の先端部の毛の挟持部が図10に示すように、固定爪30より離れるように爪支持部材35に組み込まれるものである。ここで、可動爪32は、固定爪30と爪支持部31に設けられた支点部30a、31aを支点として揺動するものである。このように開閉手段と毛の把持部材が一つのブロック体として構成してある。このように構成することで、脱毛手段を小型化でき、腋等の毛が見えやすく、狙いやすくなるため、脱毛効率が良く、使い勝手のよいものとすることができる。
