例えば、Sr3(PO2)3Cl:Eu(青色)、ZnO:Zn(緑色)、Zn2SiO4:Mn(緑色)、Zn2GeO4:Mn(緑色)、Y2O3:Eu (赤色)、Y(P,V)O4:Eu (赤色)、Y2O2S:Eu(赤色)、ZnS:Cu(Mn)(緑色)を好ましく用いることができる。
【0033】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fluorescent image formed article in which a fluorescent image is formed by a fluorescent image forming layer containing a phosphor that is difficult to visually recognize under visible light and becomes visible by emitting fluorescence in the visible region by ultraviolet irradiation.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, micro-characters, copy check patterns, infrared absorption inks, fluorescent light-emitting inks, etc. have been used to improve security of printed matter that is required to prevent counterfeiting such as securities such as cash vouchers and prepaid cards. It is used. Among the above, fluorescent light-emitting inks are inks that are difficult to see with the naked eye under normal visible light, and can detect images visually by irradiating ultraviolet rays or infrared rays. It is also used for Japanese banknotes and is already a well-known technique.
[0003]
In the fluorescent light-emitting ink, a fluorescent pigment is used in place of a colored organic pigment or inorganic pigment having absorption in the visible light region used for a normal printing ink. Other components of fluorescent light emitting inks include vehicles and adjuvants. The fluorescent light-emitting ink can form a fluorescent image forming layer on a substrate by offset printing, thermal transfer printing or the like in the same manner as normal printing ink. Here, the fluorescent pigment is a phosphor that emits light in each color such as red, green, and blue.
[0004]
The phosphor is a substance that emits fluorescence when irradiated with ultraviolet rays, and can be broadly classified into an inorganic phosphor and an organic phosphor. It can be broadly divided into colorless phosphors that absorb little or no visible light and colored phosphors that have a certain absorption band in the visible light region.
[0005]
In order to make a fluorescent image appear on the fluorescent image formed product, ultraviolet rays serving as excitation light are irradiated. By irradiating with ultraviolet rays, the phosphor of the fluorescent image formed product absorbs ultraviolet rays and emits fluorescence in the visible light region. The fluorescence image can be confirmed visually or using a camera or the like. As the wavelength of the ultraviolet rays to be irradiated, an appropriate wavelength is determined depending on the type of phosphor used, and various light sources can be selected depending on the type of phosphor. In particular, a small black light that emits ultraviolet light having a wavelength of 365 nm is widely used.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, as described above, 365 nm black light is commercially available and can be easily obtained by anyone. Therefore, in printed materials that are required to prevent forgery as described above, Anyone can confirm whether or not the luminescent ink is used, and there has been a problem that the security level of the fluorescent image formed product using the fluorescent luminescent ink is being lowered.
[0007]
In recent years, fluorescent light-emitting inks and the like can be obtained relatively easily, so that forgery can be easily performed. In this way, there has been a problem that the security level is gradually lowered.
[0008]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and therefore, an ultraviolet light source other than 365 nm used for printed matter that is required to prevent counterfeiting such as securities such as gold vouchers and prepaid cards. The object of the present invention is to provide a fluorescent image-formed product having an increased security level using a fluorescent light-emitting ink which is difficult to obtain.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the fluorescent image formed product of the present invention is a fluorescent image formed product having at least one fluorescent image formed layer and at least one visible light absorbing layer on a substrate, The formation layer includes: a first phosphor that emits fluorescence having a wavelength in the first visible light region by irradiation with ultraviolet light having a first wavelength;Different from the first wavelengthA second phosphor that emits fluorescence having a wavelength in the second visible light region different from the wavelength in the first visible light region by irradiation with ultraviolet light having the second wavelength;UniformlyContaining, and substantially transparent to visible light, the visible light absorbing layer on at least one of the upper side and the lower side of the fluorescent image forming layerSo as to have an overlapping portion with a part of the fluorescent image forming layerThe light having a wavelength in the first visible light region and the light having a wavelength in the second visible light region are formed and have different absorption characteristics or transmission characteristics.
[0010]
The fluorescent image-formed product of the present invention has a fluorescent image-forming layer containing two types of phosphors. Fluorescence image formation having a fluorescence image forming layer that emits light in a color that has not been obtained in the past by mixing the fluorescence emitted by two types of phosphors with different wavelength ranges of the fluorescence emitted by each phosphor You can get things.
[0011]
Here, the fluorescence image forming layer is substantially transparent to visible light in the case of the characteristic of transmitting visible light and the characteristic of reflecting part or all of visible light over the entire visible light area. Therefore, since the color of the substrate on which the fluorescent image forming layer is formed and the color of the fluorescent image forming layer are almost the same, the presence or absence of the fluorescent image forming layer is visually confirmed. This includes cases where it is substantially difficult to do.
[0012]
As the phosphor contained in the above-described fluorescent image forming layer of the present invention, a phosphor excited by an ultraviolet ray around 254 nm used as a relatively short wavelength ultraviolet ray (sterilization lamp) and a relatively long wavelength ultraviolet ray may be used. It can be roughly divided into two types of phosphors that are widely excited in the wavelength region of both ultraviolet light near 365 nm and ultraviolet light near 254 nm. In the fluorescent image forming layer of the present invention, the wavelength region of fluorescence emitted by changing the excitation wavelength by selecting one or more phosphors from each of the two types of phosphors having different excitation wavelengths. The fluorescent image forming product can have a fluorescent image forming layer having different fluorescent colors, that is, different fluorescence colors.
[0013]
Furthermore, the fluorescent image formed product of the present invention has a visible light absorption layer, and the light in the visible light region emitted from the first phosphor and the wavelength in the visible light region emitted from the second phosphor. Since it has different absorption characteristics or transmission characteristics with respect to the light, the fluorescent image formed by the fluorescent image forming layer can be further patterned depending on the presence or absence of the visible light absorbing layer. It can be changed for each color of emitted fluorescence.
[0014]
For example, a visible light absorption layer having a characteristic of strongly absorbing light having a wavelength in the visible light region emitted by the first phosphor and transmitting light having a wavelength in the visible light region emitted by the second phosphor. When formed, the fluorescent image formed by the color emitted from the second phosphor is the fluorescent image formed by the pattern formed by the fluorescent image forming layer as it is, but the fluorescence formed by the color emitted from the first phosphor. As for the image, a fluorescent image is formed in a pattern obtained by removing the overlapping portion of the fluorescent image forming layer and the visible light absorbing layer from the pattern formed by the fluorescent image forming layer.
[0015]
Therefore, the color of the emitted fluorescence can be changed according to the wavelength of the ultraviolet rays to be irradiated, and the pattern of the fluorescence image can be changed for each color of the emitted fluorescence, so that imitation is very difficult. When applied to printed matter that is required to prevent counterfeiting such as a voucher, the forgery is very difficult and can have a very high security level.
[0016]
For example, if the irradiation with 365 nm ultraviolet rays emits only the first fluorescent material and emits blue fluorescence, both the first fluorescent material and the second fluorescent material emit fluorescence with the 254 nm ultraviolet irradiation. Fluorescent image of blue and red fluorescence by providing red fluorescence, which is a mixed color of fluorescence of both phosphors, and providing a green underprint with a property of absorbing red light below the fluorescent image forming layer Fluorescent image formed products having different patterns. Even if a counterfeiter forges using a phosphor that emits blue light by irradiating 365 nm ultraviolet light, the authenticator can confirm the fluorescence image by using ultraviolet light having both wavelengths of 365 nm and 254 nm. The authenticity determination can be performed. In the above case, forgery is particularly similar to the fluorescence with respect to the 365 nm ultraviolet light. Therefore, the forgery is irradiated with 254 nm ultraviolet light, and a predetermined fluorescent image having a pattern different from the fluorescent image by blue fluorescence is turned red. It is possible to determine authenticity by examining whether light is emitted by fluorescence.
[0017]
In the above-described fluorescent image formed product of the present invention, preferably, the visible light absorption layer has absorption characteristics for light having a wavelength in the first visible light region, and for light having a wavelength in the second visible region. The visible light absorbing layer has a transmission characteristic for light having a wavelength in the first visible light region, and has an absorption characteristic for light having a wavelength in the second visible region. By setting transmission characteristics for light having a wavelength in the first visible light region or light having a wavelength in the second visible light region, an image formed by the visible light absorption layer can be made visible.
[0018]
The fluorescent image formed article of the present invention preferably has the visible light absorbing layer below the fluorescent image forming layer. If a visible light absorbing layer is provided above the fluorescent image forming layer, the visible light absorbing layer may be difficult to see even if the fluorescent light has a wavelength that does not absorb the fluorescence. It is preferable to provide it below the layer.
[0019]
In the above-described fluorescent image formed product of the present invention, preferably, the first wavelength is shorter than the second wavelength, and the second phosphor is an ultraviolet ray having the first wavelength and the second wavelength. Emits fluorescence. When the first phosphor and the second phosphor are irradiated with ultraviolet rays having a wavelength that can excite both the first phosphor and the second phosphor, the colors of fluorescence emitted by the first phosphor and the second phosphor are mixed, which cannot be obtained conventionally. Fluorescent light-emitting ink that emits light of a different color can be obtained.
[0020]
In the above-described fluorescent image formed product of the present invention, preferably, the first wavelength is longer than the second wavelength, and the second phosphor is substantially fluorescent by ultraviolet rays of the first wavelength. Does not emit light. When irradiated with ultraviolet light having a wavelength that can excite either the first phosphor or the second phosphor but does not substantially excite the other, only the fluorescence of one of the phosphors is emitted, and the color of the fluorescence at that time Can be different from the fluorescence color when the other phosphor is irradiated with ultraviolet light having a wavelength capable of exciting the other phosphor. In this way, by changing the excitation wavelength, it is possible to obtain a fluorescent image forming product having fluorescent image forming layers having different fluorescent wavelength regions, that is, different fluorescent colors, and improving anti-counterfeiting properties. it can.
[0021]
In the fluorescent image formed product of the present invention, preferably, the first phosphor includes an oxide or oxyacid salt inorganic phosphor, and the second phosphor is an oxide or oxyacid salt material. Inorganic phosphors. More preferably, the first phosphor is Sr.Three(PO2)ThreeCl: Eu, ZnO: Zn, Zn2SiOFour: Mn, Zn2GeOFour: Mn, Y2OThree: Eu 、 Y (P, V) OFour: Eu 、 Y2O2An inorganic phosphor selected from S: Eu and ZnS: Cu (Mn), wherein the second phosphor is SrThree(PO2)ThreeCl: Eu, ZnO: Zn, Zn2SiOFour: Mn, Zn2GeOFour: Mn, Y2OThree: Eu 、 Y (P, V) OFour: Eu 、 Y2O2It is an inorganic phosphor selected from S: Eu and ZnS: Cu (Mn). Oxide or oxyacid salt inorganic phosphors are superior in terms of weather resistance such as heat resistance and moisture resistance, aging characteristics (durability), light resistance, etc., relatively large particle size and high brightness. Since it is a stable material, the printability can be improved.
[0022]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
[0023]
FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a fluorescent image formed product according to an embodiment of the present invention. A visible
[0024]
The fluorescent light-emitting ink for forming the fluorescent image forming layer 4 contains, as its components, a fluorescent pigment, a vehicle, an auxiliary agent, and the like, as in a normal printing ink. Here, the fluorescent pigment is a phosphor that emits light in each color such as red, green, and blue, and includes two kinds of phosphors that emit light in different wavelengths.
[0025]
The phosphor is a substance that emits fluorescence when irradiated with ultraviolet rays, and can be broadly classified into an inorganic phosphor and an organic phosphor. Further, it can be broadly classified into colorless phosphors that absorb little or no visible light and colored phosphors having a certain absorption band in the visible region. In the present invention, it is preferable to use a colorless phosphor that absorbs little or no visible light.
[0026]
As the colorless inorganic phosphor, the main component is an oxide such as Ca, Ba, Mg, Zn, or Cd, a crystal such as sulfide, silicate, phosphate, or tungstate, and Mg, Ag, Cu, A pigment obtained by adding and firing a metal element such as Sb or Pb or a rare earth element such as lanthanoids as an activator can be used.
[0027]
Examples of inorganic phosphors that emit red light include Y2OThree: Eu, YVOFour: Eu 、 Y2O2S: Eu, 3.5MgO, 0.5MgF2GeO2: Mn, (Y, Gd) BOThree: Eu, Y (P, V) OFour: Eu etc. can be used.
[0028]
Examples of inorganic phosphors that emit green light include ZnO: Zn, ZnThreeSiO2: Mn, ZnThreeS: Cu, Al, (Zn, Cd) S: Cu, Al, ZnS: Cu, Au, Al, Zn2SiOFour: Mn, ZnS: Ag, Cu, (Zn, Cd) S: Cu, ZnS: Cu, Gd2O2S: Tb, La2O2S: Tb, Y2SiOFive: Ce, Tb, Zn2GeOFour: Mn, CeMgAl11O13: Tb, SrGa2SFour:EU2+, ZnS: Cu, CO, MgO ・ nB2OThree: Ce, Tb, LaOBr: Tb, Tm, La2O2S: Tb, ZnS: Cu (Mn), or the like can be used.
[0029]
Examples of inorganic phosphors that emit blue light include ZnS: Ag, CaWOFour, Y2SiOFive: Ce, ZnS: Ag, Ga, Cl, Ca2BFiveOThreeCl: Eu2+, BaMgAl14Otwenty three:EU2+, SrThree(PO2)ThreeCl: Eu or the like can be used.
[0030]
Organic phosphors include diaminostilbene disulfonic acid derivatives, imidazole derivatives, coumarin derivatives, derivatives of triazole, carbazole, pyridine, naphthalic acid, imidazolone, dyes such as fluorescein and eosin, compounds having a benzene ring such as anthracene, etc. Can be used.
[0031]
By including two kinds of phosphors having different fluorescence wavelength regions from the above compounds, the fluorescent light emitting ink of the present invention can be obtained. Although three or more types can be contained, at least two types of phosphors having different fluorescence wavelength regions are required. Here, in order to have different fluorescence wavelength regions, it suffices if there is a wavelength region in which only one of them emits fluorescence, and preferably there is no overlapping portion between the fluorescence emission wavelength regions.
[0032]
Inorganic phosphors are superior in terms of weather resistance such as heat resistance and moisture resistance, and aging characteristics (durability). On the other hand, since the organic phosphor has good wettability of the ink vehicle, the organic phosphor is excellent in suitability for producing an ink without any surface treatment. Among the above phosphors, in order to improve durability, weather resistance, particularly light resistance or printability, a stable oxide or oxyacid salt inorganic phosphor having a relatively large particle size and high brightness. Is preferred. For example, SrThree(PO2)ThreeCl: Eu (blue), ZnO: Zn (green), Zn2SiOFour: Mn (green), Zn2GeOFour: Mn (green), Y2OThree: Eu (red), Y (P, V) OFour: Eu (red), Y2O2S: Eu (red) and ZnS: Cu (Mn) (green) can be preferably used.
[0033]
In addition, it is preferable to adjust the particle size of the phosphor particles in order to improve the fluorescence characteristics such as luminance and the printability of ink. As the phosphor particles, those made of particles having an average particle diameter of 0.7 to 4 μm are preferably used, more preferably particles having an average particle diameter of 0.7 to 2 μm, and most preferably 1 to 2 μm. It is desirable to use something. In general, it is expected that the ink characteristics are improved as the particle size of the pigment particles is smaller. However, when the particle size of the phosphor particles is less than 0.7 μm, a phenomenon that the luminance of the fluorescence is remarkably lowered is seen. Therefore, it is preferable to use phosphor particles having a particle size of 0.7 μm or more. On the other hand, when the particle diameter exceeds 4 μm, the transparency of the obtained fluorescence emission image may be lowered.
[0034]
The content of the phosphor with respect to the entire composition excluding the solvent constituting the fluorescent light-emitting ink is suitably 15 to 80% by weight in order to improve both the luminance and the transferability (adhesiveness) to the printing substrate. A more preferable range is 20 to 50% by weight. When the phosphor content is less than 15% by weight, the fluorescence luminance in the ink composition state is extremely lowered depending on the type of the phosphor. For example, when the phosphor content is about 12% by weight, the luminance of the phosphor itself is about 1 / It may be reduced to about 10.
[0035]
Furthermore, it is preferable to perform a surface treatment in order to improve the properties of the phosphor (hiding power, coloring power, oil absorption, durability, etc.). In particular, when an inorganic phosphor is used, the surface thereof is hydrophilic and has a poor affinity with an oily polymer. Therefore, it is preferable to improve the affinity with the polymer by performing a surface treatment. For example, there are the following methods.
[0036]
(A) Coating: The coating plays a surfactant role. For example, low or high molecular weight fatty acids, fatty acid salts, wax dispersants and the like can be used.
[0037]
(B) Coupling agent: The coupling agent binds strongly to the phosphor and also reacts with the polymer. For example, a silane compound, a titanium compound, a metal chelate compound, or the like can be used.
[0038]
(C) Polymerizable monomer: A low molecular weight monomer or oligomer is reacted with the phosphor surface to form an irreversible layer. For example, a polymerizable organic acid, a reactive oligomer, etc. can be used.
[0039]
The fluorescent light-emitting ink vehicle for forming the fluorescent image forming layer of the present invention is preferably one that has substantially no absorption band in the wavelength region of ultraviolet light that excites the phosphor and in the wavelength region of visible light. Examples of the binder resin that is the main component of the vehicle include polyethylene-based [polyethylene (PE), ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer], polypropylene (PP), vinyl-based [ Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyvinyl butyral (PVB), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), polyvinylidene chloride (PVdC), polyvinyl acetate (PVAc), polyvinyl formal (PVF)], polystyrene [polystyrene (PS), styrene- Acrylonitrile copolymer (AS), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS)], acrylic [polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), MMA-styrene copolymer], polycarbonate (PC), cellulose [ethylcellulose (EC , Cellulose acetate (CA), propyl cellulose (CP), acetic acid / cellulose acetate (CAB), cellulose nitrate (CN)], fluorine-based [polychlorofluoroethylene (PCTFE), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), tetrafluro Ethylene-hexafluoroethylene copolymer (FEP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVdF)], urethane (PU), nylon [type 6, type 66, type 610, type 11], polyester (alkyd) [polyethylene Thermoplastic resins such as terephthalate (PET), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polycyclohexane terephthalate (PCT)], and a novolac type phenol resin can be used. It is also possible to use thermosetting resins such as resole phenolic resins, urea resins, melamine resins, polyurethane resins, epoxies and unsaturated polyesters, and natural resins such as proteins, rubber, shellac, copal, starch, and rosin. it can.
[0040]
Furthermore, these resins can be emulsions for aqueous paints. Examples of emulsions for water-based paints include vinyl acetate (homo) emulsion, vinyl acetate-acrylate copolymer emulsion, vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer resin emulsion (EVA emulsion), and vinyl acetate-vinyl versatate copolymer resin emulsion. , Vinyl acetate-polyvinyl alcohol copolymer resin emulsion, vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride copolymer resin emulsion, acrylic emulsion, acrylic silicon emulsion, styrene-acryl copolymer resin emulsion, polystyrene emulsion, urethane emulsion, chlorinated polyolefin emulsion, epoxy-acrylic disperser John, SBR latex and the like can be used.
[0041]
Further, a plasticizer for stabilizing the flexibility and strength of the printed film and a solvent for adjusting viscosity and drying may be added to the vehicle as necessary. As the solvent, a low boiling point solvent having a boiling point of about 100 ° C. and a high boiling point petroleum solvent having a boiling point of 250 ° C. or more can be used depending on the printing method. As the low-boiling solvent, for example, alkylbenzene can be used.
[0042]
Furthermore, auxiliary agents such as various reactants for improving drying, viscosity, and dispersibility can be appropriately added. The auxiliary agent is for adjusting the performance of the ink. For example, a compound that improves the friction resistance of the ink surface after drying, a dryer that accelerates drying of the ink, or the like can be used.
[0043]
In addition, a photopolymerization curable resin or an electron beam curable resin that does not use a solvent may be used as a binder resin that is a main component of the vehicle. For example, there are acrylic resins, and specifically, the following can be used as commercially available acrylic monomers.
[0044]
Monofunctional acrylates include 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl EO adduct acrylate, ethoxydiethylene glycol acrylate, 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate, 2-hydroxypropyl acrylate, caprolactone adduct of 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate, 2-phenoxyethyl acrylate , Phenoxydiethylene glycol acrylate, nonylphenol EO adduct acrylate, nonylphenol EO adduct caprolactone adduct acrylate, 2-hydroxy-3-phenoxypropyl acrylate, tetrahydrofurfuryl acrylate, furfuryl alcohol caprolactone adduct acrylate, acryloylmorpholine, Dicyclopentenyl acrylate, dicyclopent Nyl acrylate, dicyclopentenyloxyethyl acrylate, isobornia acrylate, 4,4-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane caprolactone adduct, 3-methyl-5,5-
[0045]
Moreover, as polyfunctional acrylates, hexanediol diacrylate, neopentyl glycol diacrylate, polyethylene glycol diacrylate, tripropylene glycol diacrylate, hydroxypivalic acid neopentyl glycol ester diacrylate, hydroxypivalic acid neopentyl glycol ester caprolactone addition Diacrylate, 1,6-hexanediol diglycidyl ether acrylic acid adduct, hydroxypivalaldehyde and trimethylolpropane acetal compound diacrylate, 2,2-bis [4- (acryloyloxydiethoxy) Phenyl] propane, 2,2-bis [4- (acryloyloxydiethoxy) phenyl] methane, hydrogenated bisphenol A ethylene oxide adduct Diacrylate, tricyclodecane dimethanol diacrylate, trimethylolpropane triacrylate, pentaerythritol triacrylate, trimethylolpropane propylene oxide adduct triacrylate, glycerin propylene oxide adduct triacrylate, dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate / pentaacrylate mixture, Dipentaerythritol lower fatty acid and acrylic acid ester, dipentaerythritol caprolactone adduct acrylate, tris (acryloyloxyethyl) isocyanurate, 2-acryloyloxyethyl phosphate, and the like can be used.
[0046]
The ink made of these resins is solvent-free and has a composition that causes a chain polymerization reaction by irradiation with electromagnetic waves or electron beams. Among these, for ultraviolet irradiation type, a photopolymerization initiator, if necessary As a sensitizer and an auxiliary agent, a polymerization inhibitor, a chain transfer agent and the like may be added.
[0047]
As photopolymerization initiators, 1) direct photolysis type, arylalkyl ketone, oxime ketone, acylphosphine oxide, etc. 2) radical polymerization reaction type, benzophenone derivative, thioxanthone derivative, etc. 3) cationic polymerization reaction type, Aryl diazonium salts, aryl iodonium salts, aryl sulfonium salts, aryl acetophenone salts, and the like can be used. In addition, 4) energy transfer type, 5) photoredox type, and 6) electron transfer type can be used. . For the electron beam curable type, a resin similar to the ultraviolet irradiation type described above is used, a photopolymerization initiator is not required, and various auxiliary agents may be added as necessary.
[0048]
The fluorescent light-emitting ink composed of the above fluorescent pigment, vehicle, auxiliary agent, and the like can further contain a decolorizable colorant having irreversibility. The decolorizable colorant in this case has absorption characteristics in the visible region before the operation for decoloring, that is, is colored, but the operation for decoloration, for example, irradiation with near infrared rays Therefore, it is a colorant that irreversibly loses absorption in the visible region, that is, changes to a transparent state with respect to visible light. When printing is performed with a fluorescent light-emitting ink containing such a decolorizable colorant, a printed image can be identified with the naked eye without performing ultraviolet irradiation, and printing accuracy can be improved. Then, it can be made transparent with respect to visible light by performing a decoloring operation.
[0049]
The fluorescent image forming layer 4 containing a phosphor can be formed on the substrate by various methods conventionally known using the above-described fluorescent light-emitting ink. For example, there are an intaglio printing method such as a relief printing method, a gravure method, an offset lithographic printing method, or a screen plate making (stencil). In addition, a thermal transfer system (see, for example, JP-A-61-213195, 59-54598, 62-111800, and JP-A-3-187786), an inkjet system (for example, JP-A-3-81376). Can also be used. Furthermore, a fluorescent image forming layer containing a phosphor can be formed by the method described in JP-A-4-338598. When the thermal transfer method is used, it is preferable to secure a light quantity by setting the film thickness of the fluorescent image forming layer to at least 6 μm or more. Therefore, it is preferable to add a wax such as a binder or carnauba wax to the image forming layer. In addition, since the ink surface is preferably melted by heat, it is preferable to use a thermoplastic resin as the binder resin which is the main component of the vehicle.
[0050]
Moreover, the film thickness of the fluorescent image forming layer formed with the fluorescent light-emitting ink can be appropriately determined depending on the required fluorescence luminance, phosphor content, etc., and can be, for example, 1 to 10 μm. In the present invention, from the viewpoint of ensuring transparency, phosphor particles having a relatively small particle diameter are used as described above. However, the lack of fluorescence emission intensity due to the small particle diameter is caused by the film thickness of the fluorescent image forming layer. Can be compensated for by increasing.
[0051]
The fluorescent image formed product of the embodiment of the present invention has a visible
[0052]
Therefore, the color of the emitted fluorescence can be changed according to the wavelength of the ultraviolet rays to be irradiated, and the pattern of the fluorescence image can be changed for each color of the emitted fluorescence, so that imitation is very difficult. When applied to printed matter that is required to prevent counterfeiting such as a voucher, the forgery is very difficult and can have a very high security level.

Other than forming the fluorescent image forming layer 4 and the visible
[0055]
In the fluorescent image formed product of the present invention, in addition to the visible
[0056]
In addition to the above-described camouflage pattern, in addition to the visible light absorbing layer for patterning the fluorescent image, the lower layer or the upper layer of the fluorescent image forming layer is composed of a single color or multiple colors as a base (background) printing layer. A visible image layer may be formed. However, in the fluorescent image forming region, the color constituting the visible image is preferably a light color that does not affect the fluorescent color emitted by the phosphor as much as possible. In particular, when a multicolor visible image is used as the base printing, it is preferable to reduce the difference in reflectance between two or more colors constituting the visible image in the fluorescence wavelength region emitted by the phosphor. For example, the difference in reflectance is preferably within 20%. If the difference in reflectance between two or more colors constituting a visible image is large, the fluorescence intensity emitted by the phosphor changes greatly depending on the image of the base print, and the image constituting the phosphor is correctly recognized. Because it becomes difficult.
[0057]
The visible image forming layer such as the above base printing can be formed by a known printing method using a known colored paint or ink. For example, the colored paint or ink can be prepared by adding various pigments depending on the color to be colored on the binder. As a binder, what was illustrated as resin which comprises the vehicle component of the fluorescence light emission ink for the above-mentioned fluorescence image formation layers can be used. If necessary, the colored paint or ink may further contain a plasticizer, a stabilizer, a wax, a drying agent, a drying aid, a curing agent, a thickening agent, a dispersing agent, a solvent, or a diluent. Examples of the printing method include a printing method such as a normal gravure method, a roll method, a knife edge method, and an offset method, or a transfer method. When the transfer method is used, it is preferable to smooth the surface to be transferred by coating a suitable resin in advance and forming a smooth layer for the purpose of improving the adhesion of the transfer pattern.
[0058]
As the intermediate layer 3 between the fluorescent image forming layer 4 and the visible
[0059]
The intermediate layer 3 is not particularly limited, but the intermediate layer below the fluorescent image forming layer can be a UV absorbing layer in which a UV absorber is substantially fixed. This can be composed of, for example, at least an ultraviolet absorber and a resin, and the ultraviolet absorber is substantially selected by selecting the ultraviolet absorber from the group consisting of particulate matter having ultraviolet absorbing ability or resin having an ultraviolet absorbing functional group. A fixed ultraviolet absorbing layer can be formed.
[0060]
As the particulate matter having ultraviolet absorbing ability, for example, an ultraviolet absorbing inorganic pigment can be used, and for example, zinc oxide, titanium oxide and the like can be used. From the viewpoint that these particles are substantially transparent to visible light and do not substantially move to the fluorescent image forming layer, the particle diameter is suitably in the range of 0.1 to 1 μm.
[0061]
There are also organic ultraviolet absorbers, and benzophenone-based, benzotriazole-based, acrylate-based, and salicylate-based ultraviolet absorbers can be used. Examples of the benzophenone-based ultraviolet absorber include 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone, 2,2′-dihydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone, 2-hydroxy-4-octoxybenzophenone, 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone, and reso Luciool monobenzoate, 2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl-3, 5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzoate, 2-hydroxy-4-n-octylbenzophenone and the like. Examples of the benzotriazole-based ultraviolet absorber include 2- (2′-hydroxy-5′-methylphenyl) benzotriazole (Tinuvin P, manufactured by Ciba Geigy), 2- (2′-hydroxy-3′-t). -Butyl-5'-methylphenyl) -5-chlorobenzotriazole (Tinuvin 326, manufactured by Ciba Geigy), 2- [2-hydroxy-3,5-bis (α, α-dimethylbenzyl) phenyl] -2H-benzo Examples include triazole (Tinuvin 234, manufactured by Ciba Geigy). Examples of the acrylate ultraviolet absorber include 2-ethylhexyl-2-cyano-3, 3-diphenyl acrylate, ethyl-2-cyano-3, and 3-diphenyl acrylate. As the salicylate-based ultraviolet absorber, for example, phenyl salicylate, 4-t-butylphenyl salicylate, p-octylphenyl salicylate and the like can be used.
[0062]
The film thickness of the ultraviolet absorbing layer is suitably selected so that the reflectance of the ultraviolet light from the ultraviolet absorbing layer is substantially “0”. For example, when the ultraviolet absorbent is emulsion tinuvin and the wavelength of the ultraviolet light from the light source is 254 nm, the film thickness of the ultraviolet absorbing layer is sufficient to be 1 μm or less, for example, in the range of 0.1 to 1 μm. is there.
[0063]
The ultraviolet absorbing layer may be formed as an excitation light blocking layer on the fluorescent image forming layer 4. In the region where the excitation light blocking layer is formed, the ultraviolet light is absorbed by the excitation light blocking layer even when irradiated, and cannot reach the fluorescence image forming layer, and therefore does not emit fluorescence. Therefore, by forming a region that does not form the excitation light blocking layer and a region that does not form the excitation light blocking layer, a region that does not emit fluorescence and a region that does not emit fluorescence can be formed, whereby a fluorescent image can be formed. In this case, an excitation light blocking layer formed along a pattern or the like may be formed on the fluorescent image layer formed so as to emit uniform fluorescence, and a fluorescent image may be formed. A fluorescent image may be formed by forming an excitation light blocking layer along another pattern on the fluorescent image layer formed along the pattern.
[0064]
The protective layer 5 is preferably highly permeable to visible light and ultraviolet light, and can be formed by overlaminating or overcoating. The overlaminate can be formed, for example, by laminating a transparent film such as polyethylene terephthalate, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, or polypropylene by a conventional method.
[0065]
As the overcoat, those exemplified as the resin constituting the vehicle component of the fluorescent light emitting ink of the fluorescent image forming layer described above can be used. In particular, a photopolymerization curable type or an electron beam curable type that does not use a solvent is preferable, and examples thereof include acrylic resins. This can be formed using the aforementioned acrylic monomer. In addition, as described above, additives such as a polymerization initiator are contained, and these additives are also appropriately selected to be highly permeable to visible light and ultraviolet rays. Further, an OP layer may be formed on the outermost surface by offset printing such as medium.
[0066]
As the
[0067]
When white fine paper is used as the substrate of the present invention, a fluorescent whitening agent is usually added to the white fine paper to increase the whiteness. Then, it emits blue light. Therefore, when the ultraviolet light is applied to visually recognize a fluorescent image by the phosphor contained in the fluorescent image forming layer formed on the paper substrate, the fluorescent whitening agent in the paper substrate also emits fluorescence. There is an inconvenience that it is difficult to confirm. Therefore, it is desirable to select a paper substrate to which no fluorescent brightening agent is added or a paper substrate with as little addition as possible. It is also effective to form an ultraviolet absorbing layer in which 10% by weight of tinuvin (manufactured by Ciba Geigy Co., Ltd.) is mixed in the paper base as a base printing for suppressing the influence of the fluorescent brightening agent.
[0068]
As the ultraviolet irradiation means that becomes the excitation light for floating the fluorescent image, various light sources can be selected as the wavelength of the ultraviolet light depending on the type of the phosphor, but black that emits ultraviolet light having a wavelength of 365 nm. Light is available in small size and is easy to use. Furthermore, a germicidal lamp that emits ultraviolet light having a wavelength of 254 nm can also be used. In addition, it is preferable to select the type of the phosphor in accordance with these two wavelength regions because it facilitates the implementation of the present invention. The relationship between the phosphor and the wavelength of the excitation light is illustrated in Table 1 below.
[0069]
[Table 1]
[0070]
As shown in Table 1, depending on the type of phosphor, phosphors emit fluorescence when irradiated with ultraviolet light at 254 nm, and do not emit fluorescence when irradiated with ultraviolet light at 365 nm, and phosphors that emit fluorescence when irradiated with ultraviolet rays at both 254 nm and 365 nm. Can be classified. In the present invention, two types of phosphors having different wavelength ranges of emitted fluorescence are contained. By selecting these phosphors having different wavelengths of excitable ultraviolet rays, fluorescence obtained according to the wavelength of ultraviolet rays to be irradiated is obtained. It is possible to form fluorescent image forming layers having different colors, for example, a fluorescent image obtained by 254 nm ultraviolet irradiation and a fluorescent image obtained by 365 nm ultraviolet irradiation.
[0071]
For example, the fluorescent image forming layer includes a first phosphor that emits fluorescence when irradiated with ultraviolet light at 254 nm and does not emit fluorescence when irradiated with ultraviolet light at 365 nm, and a second phosphor that emits fluorescence when irradiated with ultraviolet rays at both 254 nm and 365 nm. In addition, when irradiated with ultraviolet light at 365 nm, only an image of the fluorescent color emitted by the second phosphor is obtained, but when irradiated with ultraviolet light at 254 nm, the fluorescence of both the first fluorescent material and the second fluorescent material is obtained. An image in which colors are mixed can be obtained. When there is only one type of phosphor contained in the fluorescent

[0075]
The fluorescent light-emitting ink D1 used in the fluorescent image-formed product of the above-described embodiment is a Sr that emits blue-violet fluorescence when irradiated with ultraviolet rays at 254 nm and 365 nm as a phosphor.Three(PO2)ThreeCl: Eu-based fluorescent pigment and Y that emits red fluorescence when irradiated with UV light at 254 nm2OThree: Eu type fluorescent pigment was contained. When exposed to 365nm UV light, blue-purple SrThree(PO2)ThreeOnly the fluorescence emission of Cl: Eu-based fluorescent pigments can be obtained.Three(PO2)ThreeCl: Eu-based fluorescent pigment and red Y2OThree: Fluorescence of Eu-based fluorescent pigment is mixed and reddish purple fluorescence is obtained.
[0076]
The visible light absorbing layer uses a green ink capable of absorbing red light, and the reddish-violet fluorescence emitted by ultraviolet irradiation of 254 nm can be sufficiently absorbed by the visible light absorbing layer. In this example, when ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 365 nm were irradiated, blue-violet fluorescence was obtained as a character pattern “T” as shown in FIG. This is light emitted in a pattern as a fluorescent image forming layer. On the other hand, when ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 254 nm were irradiated, it was confirmed that red-violet fluorescence was emitted in the letter pattern “I” as shown in FIG. In FIG. 2 (c), a dotted line indicates a region where the visible light absorbing layer has absorbed fluorescence and is no longer visible. In the portion where the green visible light absorbing layer is present, reddish purple fluorescence is absorbed, so that the portion is not visually recognized, resulting in a character pattern “I”.
[0077]
As described above, the fluorescent light-emitting ink and the fluorescent image-formed product of the present invention have not been obtained in the past because they contain two types of fluorescent materials and the fluorescent wavelength regions emitted by the respective fluorescent materials are different. By selecting a type having a different excitation wavelength as a phosphor, and by changing the excitation wavelength, the wavelength range of the emitted fluorescence is different, that is, the emitted fluorescence is made different in color. Emits light by changing the wavelength of the irradiated ultraviolet light by having a visible light absorbing layer with different absorption characteristics depending on the color of the emitted fluorescent light by changing the color of the emitted fluorescent light by irradiating with ultraviolet light of different wavelengths. The image pattern formed by the fluorescence can be changed. Forgery of securities such as cash vouchers and prepaid cards by judging the authenticity of fluorescent image formation by confirming the fluorescence image formed by multiple ultraviolet rays with wavelengths that change the color of the emitted fluorescence This can increase the security level of the printed matter that is required to prevent.
[0078]
The fluorescent light-emitting ink and fluorescent image formed product of the present invention are not limited to the above-described embodiments. For example, the image formed by the fluorescent image forming layer is not limited to characters but may be anything such as a picture, a photograph, or a pattern. The ultraviolet light source is not limited to black light, and any light source that emits ultraviolet light may be used. However, in that case, it is necessary to check in advance whether the wavelength of the ultraviolet rays to be used can sufficiently excite the fluorescent light-emitting ink, and to select a phosphor. In addition, various changes can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
[0079]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, it is possible to use an ultraviolet light source other than 365 nm, which is used for printed matter that is required to prevent counterfeiting such as securities such as cash vouchers and prepaid cards, and it is difficult to obtain fluorescent light emission. Fluorescent imaging products with increased security levels can be provided using ink.
