Description
【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、複合操作スイッチに係り、特に、ホーム用や車載用の各種電子機器などに使用される多機能化に対応できる複合操作スイッチの構造に関する。

【従来の技術】
ホーム用及び車載用の各種電子機器などの操作スイッチには、多くのスイッチ機能を集中した複合操作スイッチが使用されている。この従来の複合操作スイッチの構成においては、外側に中空の環状からなるロータリースイッチを配置し、この中空の内側に4方向傾倒スイッチ+センタープッシュスイッチなどからなる多方向操作スイッチを配置したものが一般に知られている。

この従来の複合操作スイッチの場合、外側に配置されたロータリースイッチは、中空の環状に形成されたハウジングと、このハウジング内に回動可能に配設された回転板とから形成されている。前記ハウジングは合成樹脂などの絶縁材からなり、このハウジングの内底面には導電性の金属材からなる固定接点が配設されている。また、前記回転板には、前記固定接点に対向して同じく導電性の金属材からなる可動接点が固着されており、回転板の回動に伴ってこの可動接点が前記固定接点上を摺接して接点の切り換えが行われるようになっている。

中空の内側に配置された多方向操作スイッチは、内部に収納部を有する箱状に形成されたハウジングと、このハウジングの収納部に昇降及び傾倒可能に収納されたスライド部材とから形成されている。前記ハウジングは合成樹脂などの絶縁材で形成されており、このハウジングの内底部には複数の固定接点が配設されている。この複数の固定接点は前記スライド部材が押圧された時に動作される中央固定接点と、前記スライド部材が4方向に傾倒された時にそれぞれの操作方向で動作される周辺固定接点とから形成されている。

また、前記複数の固定接点上には、導電性の金属材からなるドーム状の可動接点がそれぞれ固定接点に対向されて配設されている。前記複数の可動接点は、前記スライド部材の押圧時に押圧されて前記中央固定接点と接続される中央可動接点と、前記スライド部材が4方向に傾倒された時に押圧されて前記周辺固定接点と接続される周辺可動接点とから形成されている。

前記ロータリースイッチと多方向操作スイッチは、電子機器などのフレームや回路基板上に一体的に取り付けられ、ロータリースイッチの前記回転板の先端には中空状の回転操作用つまみが嵌着されるとともに、この回転操作用つまみの中央に前記多方向操作スイッチのスライド部材に嵌着される傾倒操作用つまみが配置されて一体的な複合操作スイッチとして構成されるものとなる。
この複合操作スイッチによれば、一つのスイッチでプッシュスイッチと、4方向傾倒スイッチと、回転パルススイッチとの複数のスイッチ機能を得ることが可能となっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述した従来の複合操作スイッチの構成においては、それぞれのスイッチは単一の選択機能しか持っていないことから、更に多くの選択機能が必要な場合には、更に多くのスイッチを配置しなければならず、スイッチの増加に合わせてロータリースイッチの中空部を更に大きくした場合には、スイッチが大型化してしまうという問題があった。

また、この場合、多数のスイッチが平面状に並んで配置されることから、スイッチの選択操作時にユーザーが押し間違えて誤動作を起こす可能性があった。

したがって、本発明では上述した問題点を解決し、複合操作スイッチの構成で、スイッチの数を増やしたり、大型化することなく多機能化が可能で、スイッチの選択操作時の操作性の良好な複合操作スイッチを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明では第1の手段として、中空の環状に設けられるとともにこの環状部の内底面に固定接点が設けられたハウジングと、このハウジングに回動可能に取り付けられ、回動されることにより前記固定接点と接離する可動接点が設けられた第1の回転板と、この第1の回転板に取り付けられ、この第1の回転板とともに回動する第2の回転板と、前記ハウジングの中空の環状部の内側に配置された多方向操作スイッチとを備え、前記第2の回転板を前記第1の回転板に昇降可能に取り付けるとともに、前記ハウジングの近傍には前記第2の回転板の昇降位置を検知して前記多方向操作スイッチの選択機能の種類切り換え用の信号を出力する検出スイッチを備えたことを特徴とする。

また、第2の手段として、前記第1の回転板には、前記第2の回転板と係合される昇降ガイド部が形成され、この昇降ガイド部により前記第2の回転板は前記第1の回転板の外側に昇降可能に配設されるとともに、前記第2の回転板が回動される際には前記第1の回転板も同時に回動するように係合され、前記第1及び第2の回転板が一体的に前記ハウジングに回動可能なように取り付けられていることを特徴とする。

また、第3の手段として、前記第1の回転板には、凸状のカム部を形成し、前記第2の回転板には、前記凸状のカム部と係合する弾圧部材を設け、前記第2の回転板の昇降時には前記弾圧部材が前記カム部を乗り越えて移動するようにしたことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の一実施例を図1乃至図7に示す。図1は操作用つまみを装着した状態の複合操作スイッチの一部を破断した状態を示す説明図、図2は複合操作スイッチを示す斜視図、図3は第2の回転板を第1の回転板から外した状態を示す分解斜視図、図4は第2の回転板の上昇時の状態を示す断面図、図5は同じく下降時の状態を示す断面図、図6は復帰ばねの配置状態を示す断面図、図7は平行状リンク機構の配置状態を示す断面図である。

図において、ハウジング1は、合成樹脂などの絶縁材からなり、中央が中空の略環状に形成されている。このハウジング1の中央には、中空の円筒状からなる支軸部1aが設けられており、この支軸部1aの下端側には上面が開口された環状の収納部1bを有する基台部1cが設けられている。この基台部1cの収納部1bの内底面には、導電性の金属材からなる固定接点2が内底面に沿って環状に配設されている。また、前記基台部1cには、前記固定接点2と前記基台部1c内で接続された状態で前記基台部1cの外方に導出された接続端子3が延設されたものとなっている。カバー4は、板状の金属板からなり、前記環状の収納部1bの開口を覆うように取り付けられている。

第1の回転板5は、合成樹脂などの絶縁材で同じく中央が中空の環状に形成されており、この第1の回転板5には、前記ハウジング1の支軸部1aに挿入されて支軸部1aの周りに回動可能に係合される円筒状からなる回転軸部5aが形成されている。また、この回転軸部5aの下端側には、前記基台部1cの収納部1bに回動可能に収納される円盤状の回転基部5bが設けられており、この回転基部5bの下端側には、前記収納部1bに配設された固定接点2に対向して配設される導電性の金属材で複数の接片が設けられた可動接点6が固着されている。
この可動接点6が前記ハウジング1の収納部1bに配設された前記固定接点2と摺接することでロータリースイッチ100の接点部を形成している。

また、前記第1の回転板5には、前記回転軸部5aの外周部に複数の凸状のカム部5cが設けられており、このカム部5cを設けることで、後述する第2の回転板8の昇降時における操作感触(クリック感)が得られるものとなっている。
また、前記回転軸部5aの外周部には、軸方向へ複数の凹溝状の昇降ガイド部5dが形成されており、この昇降ガイド部5dを設けることにより、後述する第2の回転板8は前記第1の回転板5の外側に昇降可能に配設されるとともに、第2の回転板8が回動される際には前記第1の回転板5も同時に回動するように係合されるものとなっている。

また、前記回転軸部5aには、複数のばね収納部5eが設けられており、このばね収納部5eにコイル状の復帰ばね7が収納されて後述する第2の回転板8を、常時、上昇側に付勢している。また、前記ばね収納部5eの上端には、一対の係合フック5fが設けられ、この係合フック5fで後述する第2の回転板8に設けられたフック係合部8cを係止することにより第2の回転板8の抜け止めを行っている。

第2の回転板8は、合成樹脂などの絶縁材で中央が中空の環状に形成されており、この第2の回転板8には、前記第1の回転板5の回転軸部5aに挿入されて回転軸部5aの外側に係合される大径の軸挿入孔8aが形成されている。また、この軸挿入孔8aの内側には、前記第1の回転板5の外周部に設けられた前記昇降ガイド部5dに係合される複数の係合突部8bが形成されており、この係合突部8bが前記昇降ガイド部5dに沿って昇降移動可能に配設されるとともに、前記第2の回転板8が回動される際には前記昇降ガイド部5dと当接して前記第1の回転板5と同時に回動するように係合されるものとなっている。

また、前記第2の回転板8には、複数のフック係合部8cが形成されており、このフック係合部8cが前記第1の回転板5に設けられた複数の係合フック5fと係合することにより前記第2の回転板8は前記第1の回転板5の回転軸部5aに抜け止めされた状態で係止されるものとなっている。

また、前記第2の回転板8の軸挿入孔8aの内側には、弾圧部材である鋼球9とコイルばね10を収容する収容穴8dが設けられている。この収容穴8dに弾性部材を収容して、前記鋼球9を前記コイルばね10で付勢することで、前記第1の回転板5の回転軸部5aの外周部に設けられたカム部5cとの間に、前記第2の回転板8の昇降時における操作感触(クリック感)が得られるものとなっている。

また、前記第2の回転板8の外周には、回転操作用つまみ11を係合するための係合溝部8eが対向されて形成されている。

多方向操作スイッチ200は、ひとつの操作部でプッシュ方向及び4方向の傾倒操作が可能な操作スイッチとなっており、前記ハウジング1の支軸部1aの中空部に配設されたものとなっている。この多方向操作スイッチ200は、内部に図示しない収納部を有するケース21と、このケース21の収納部に昇降及び傾倒可能に収納されたスライド部材22とから形成されている。前記ケース21は、合成樹脂などの絶縁材で箱状に形成されており、このケース21の内底部には、図示しない導電性の金属材からなる複数の固定接点が配設されている。この複数の固定接点には、前記スライド部材22がプッシュ方向へ押圧された時に導通される中央固定接点と、前記スライド部材22が4方向に傾倒された時にそれぞれの操作方向で導通される周辺固定接点とから形成されている。

また、前記複数の固定接点上には、図示しない導電性の金属材からなるドーム状の可動接点がそれぞれ固定接点に対向されて配設されている。前記複数の可動接点は、前記スライド部材22がプッシュ方向へ押圧された時に押されて前記中央固定接点に接続される中央可動接点と、前記スライド部材22が4方向に傾倒された時に押されて前記周辺固定接点と接続される周辺可動接点とから形成されている。

前記ロータリースイッチ100と多方向操作スイッチ200は、図示しない電子機器などのフレームや回路基板50上に一体的に取り付けられるものとなっており、前記ロータリースイッチ100の前記第2の回転板8の先端には、中空状の回転操作用つまみ11が嵌着されるとともに、この回転操作用つまみ11の中空状の中央に前記多方向操作スイッチ200の前記スライド部材22に嵌着される傾倒操作用つまみ12が配置されて一体的な複合操作スイッチとして構成されるものとなっている。
また、前記ハウジング1の支軸部1aの中空部には、前記傾倒操作用つまみ12の操作機能を表示するための照光用LED13が配設されたものとなっている。

検出スイッチ300は、メカ駆動用のプッシュスイッチで、前記ハウジング1の近傍で前記第2の回転板8の下側に対向されて回路基板50上に配設されたものとなっている。この検出スイッチ300は、レバー31が押し込まれることにより図示しない内部の接点部が切り換えられることで、信号の切換が行われるように構成されている。

また、前記検出スイッチ300は、前記回転操作用つまみ11が嵌着された前記第2の回転板8によって動作されるように回路基板50上に配設されており、前記第2の回転板8の昇降位置に対応した信号を図示しない制御回路へ出力するものとし、制御回路にてこの検知信号に基づいて前記多方向操作スイッチ200に割り付けた複数の選択機能の種類を切り換えるように構成されている。

すなわち、前記回転操作用つまみ11が上昇位置にある状態では、前記検出スイッチ300のレバー31も上昇位置にあり、検出スイッチ300からの第1の検知信号により前記多方向操作スイッチ200は図示しない制御回路によって割り当てられた複数の選択機能のうち第1の選択機能(例えば音量切り換え)が設定された状態となっている。ここで、前記回転操作用つまみ11を押し込むことで降下位置にすると、前記検出スイッチ300のレバー31が前記第2の回転板8によって押し込まれ、接点部の切り換えが行われる。この時、検出スイッチ300からは第2の検知信号が出力され図示しない制御回路によって第2の選択機能(例えばスピーカー切り換え)に設定される。

なお、本実施例においては、前記回転操作用つまみ11の昇降動作はノンロック動作となるように構成されており、昇降時には操作感触が得られるために前記第1と第2の回転板5と8との間にクリック機構を形成したものとなっている。

前記検出スイッチ300を設けることにより、前記多方向操作スイッチ200のそれぞれのスイッチは単一の選択機能しか持っていないにもかかわらず、更に多くの選択機能が必要な場合には、スイッチの数を増やしたり、大型化することなしに多機能化が可能となり、平面上に配置するスイッチの数を極力少なくすることができるため、スイッチの選択操作時にユーザーが押し間違えて誤動作を起こす心配が無くなり、スイッチの選択操作時の操作性の良好な複合操作スイッチが得られるものとなる。

図7は、平行状リンク機構の構成を示し、前記第1の回転板5と前記第2の回転板8との間に、前記第2の回転板8の昇降時の動きを規制する平行状リンク機構が形成されている。この平行状リンク機構は、例えば一対の対向した平板状の基板14、14に、複数の回動可能なリンク15を一定の間隔で配置させたものからなり、前記第1の回転板5と第2の回転板8との間隔が常に同一間隔を維持しながら平行に昇降動作することが可能なように形成されたものとなっている。

この平行状リンク機構を設けることにより、例え前記回転操作用つまみ11を操作する際に一端側の端を押した場合においても、前記第2の回転板8が平行に昇降動作することから、確実に前記検出スイッチ300のレバー31を動作することが可能になり、検出スイッチ300をオンすることができるため、誤動作を防止できるものとなる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明の複合操作スイッチは、中空の環状に設けられるとともにこの環状部の内底面に固定接点が設けられたハウジングと、このハウジングに回動可能に取り付けられ、回動されることにより固定接点と接離する可動接点が設けられた第1の回転板と、この第1の回転板に取り付けられ、この第1の回転板とともに回動する第2の回転板と、ハウジングの中空の環状部の内側に配置された多方向操作スイッチとを備え、第2の回転板を第1の回転板に昇降可能に取り付けるとともに、ハウジングの近傍には第2の回転板の昇降位置を検知して多方向操作スイッチの選択機能の種類切り換え用の信号を出力する検出スイッチを備えたことから、多方向操作スイッチに多くの選択機能が必要な場合でも、スイッチの数を増やしたり、大型化することなしに多機能化が可能となると共に、平面上に配置するスイッチの数を極力少なくすることができるため、スイッチの選択操作時にユーザーが押し間違えて誤動作を起こす心配が無くなり、スイッチの選択操作時の操作性の良好な複合操作スイッチが得られる。

また、第1の回転板には、第2の回転板と係合される昇降ガイド部が形成され、この昇降ガイド部により第2の回転板は第1の回転板の外側に昇降可能に配設されるとともに、第2の回転板が回動される際には第1の回転板も同時に回動するように係合され、第1及び第2の回転板が一体的にハウジングに回動可能なように取り付けられていることから、簡易な構造で多方向操作スイッチの選択機能の増加が図れる。

また、第1の回転板と第2の回転板との間には、第2の回転板の昇降時の動きを規制する平行状リンク機構が設けられていることから、第2の回転板が平行に昇降動作するため、確実に検出スイッチを動作することが可能になり、誤動作を防止できる。

また、多方向操作スイッチが、センタープッシュスイッチ付きの4方向傾倒スイッチであることから、多機能化した一体型の複合操作スイッチが得られる。

Claims (5)
- 中空の環状に設けられるとともにこの環状部の内底面に固定接点が設けられたハウジングと、このハウジングに回動可能に取り付けられ、回動されることにより前記固定接点と接離する可動接点が設けられた第1の回転板と、この第1の回転板に取り付けられ、この第1の回転板とともに回動する第2の回転板と、前記ハウジングの中空の環状部の内側に配置された多方向操作スイッチとを備え、前記第2の回転板を前記第1の回転板に昇降可能に取り付けるとともに、前記ハウジングの近傍には前記第2の回転板の昇降位置を検知して前記多方向操作スイッチの選択機能の種類切り換え用の信号を出力する検出スイッチを備えたことを特徴とする複合操作スイッチ。
- 前記第1の回転板には、前記第2の回転板と係合される昇降ガイド部が形成され、この昇降ガイド部により前記第2の回転板は前記第1の回転板の外側に昇降可能に配設されるとともに、前記第2の回転板が回動される際には前記第1の回転板も同時に回動するように係合され、前記第1及び第2の回転板が一体的に前記ハウジングに回動可能なように取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の複合操作スイッチ。
- 前記第1の回転板には、凸状のカム部を形成し、前記第2の回転板には、前記凸状のカム部と係合する弾圧部材を設け、前記第2の回転板の昇降時には前記弾圧部材が前記カム部を乗り越えて移動するようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1、又は2記載の複合操作スイッチ。
- 前記第1の回転板と前記第2の回転板との間には、前記第2の回転板の昇降時の動きを規制する平行状リンク機構が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項3記載の複合操作スイッチ。
- 前記多方向操作スイッチが、センタープッシュスイッチ付きの4方向傾倒スイッチであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れかに記載の複合操作スイッチ。
