従来、送話器用マイクロホンの一体保持構造は実開平6―19346号に記載されたものが知られている。図4から図6は従来の送話器用マイクロホンの一体保持構造の構成を示している。把握に適した筐体1の両端寄りの内部に送話器2と受話器3とを各別に設け、中央付近にはダイヤル用およびファンクション用の押しボタン4が並設された操作部5を設け、かつ操作部5の内方には、可動接点付きドウム状弾性受部6が各押しボタン4に対応する状態に並設された、いわゆるラバーコンタクトと呼ばれる弾性シート7と、弾性受部6の可動接点に対応する固定接点が設けられたプリント基板(プリント配線板)8とを重合して配置し、これにより、押しボタン4が退没した場合に限り、前記弾性受部6に抗して可動接点に接触させることができるように構成されている。このような押しボタンスイッチのほかに、受話部3および必要な電装品(図示せず)並びに送話用マイクロホン9が筺体1内に装備され、押しボタン用弾性シート7を延長した状態のもとに、その延長部分に送話器用マイクロホンのホルダー10を一体的に成形し、ホルダー10をマイクロホン9に冠着したまま、ホルダー10の頂部が筐体1の壁部に内方から圧接する状態のもとに、基板8を筐体1に固着するようにしている。
