Description
【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to a television signal receiving apparatus, and more particularly to a television signal receiving apparatus including, for example, a digital broadcast receiver.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In this type of conventional television signal receiving apparatus, since messages and program information from digital broadcast stations are received, the digital broadcast receiver is turned on even when the main power of the television signal receiving apparatus is off. The above-described information loss was prevented. However, when the main power is off, only the television microcomputer (TV microcomputer) is always on. In addition, when not watching CS broadcast, it can set to the mode which does not watch CS broadcast with a menu, and when this mode is set, the power supply of a digital broadcast receiver will be always turned off.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, this conventional technique has a problem that the power consumption of the digital broadcast receiver is increased because the power supply of the digital broadcast receiver is always on as described above. Incidentally, in a television signal receiver that does not incorporate a CS tuner, the power consumption when the main power source is on is 100 W to 200 W, and the power consumption when the main power source is off is about 2 W, whereas digital television reception is possible. The power consumption of the machine alone was 25W.
[0004]
Therefore, a main object of the present invention is to provide a television signal receiving apparatus with a built-in digital broadcast receiver that can reduce power consumption.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, in a television signal receiving apparatus including a terrestrial broadcast receiver and a digital broadcast receiver, first switch means for turning on / off power supply to the terrestrial broadcast receiver, and power supply to the digital broadcast receiver A second switch means for turning on / off the power supply, a microcomputer for controlling on / off of the main power supply to control switching of the first switch means and the second switch means, and a supply means for constantly supplying power to the microcomputer. The first switch means and the second switch means are turned on when the main power supply is in the on state, and the first switch means is turned off and the second switch means is turned on / off intermittently when the main power supply is in the off state. A television signal receiver characterized by the above.
[0006]
[Action]
For example, a television signal receiver is provided with a terrestrial broadcast receiver in addition to a digital broadcast receiver. When the main power supply of the television signal receiving apparatus is in an off state, the TV microcomputer turns on / off the digital broadcast receiver every 10 minutes. However, for example, when the new contract mode is set, the digital broadcast receiver is turned on for one week from the mode setting.
[0007]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, since the digital broadcast receiver is intermittently turned on / off when the main power supply of the television signal receiving apparatus is in the off state, power consumption can be reduced.
The above object, other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description of embodiments with reference to the drawings.
