【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は電力線や通信線等の電線を接続する電線接続具に関する。更に詳しくは、接続具本体に形成した導体挿入孔内に、互いに接続すべき電線の導体を挿入し、接続具本体を圧縮して上記各電線の導体と接続具本体とを導電接続する電線接続具に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、電線接続具として、接続具本体に形成した導体挿入孔内に、互いに接続すべき電線の導体を挿入し、接続具本体を圧縮して上記各電線の導体と接続具本体とを導電接続するものは知られている。その接続作業としては、例えば以下の手順で行っている。即ち、先ず接続すべき電線の端部の絶縁被覆を剥離し、接続具本体の一端側に一方の電線の導体を挿入したのち接続具本体の一部をダイス等で圧縮して抜け止め固定し、次いで接続具本体の他端側に他方の電線の導体を挿入したのち同様に接続具本体の一部を圧縮して抜け止め固定している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、例えば電柱の上部に架空配線された電線を、上記のような電線接続具で接続する場合、その接続作業は一般に電柱上でひとりで行わなければならず、接続具本体を圧縮する際に、導体挿入孔内に挿入した導体が往々にしてずれたり、抜け落ちてしまう等の問題があった。

本発明は上記の問題点に鑑みて提案されたもので、接続具本体の導体挿入孔内に導体を挿入してから接続具本体を圧縮するまでの間に導体がずれたり、抜け落ちないように簡単・確実に抜け止め保持させることのできる電線接続具を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を解決するために本発明による電線接続具は、以下の構成としたものである。即ち、接続具本体に形成した導体挿入孔内に、互いに接続すべき電線の導体を挿入し、接続具本体を圧縮して上記各電線の導体と接続具本体とを導電接続する電線接続具において、上記接続具本体の両端部近傍に切込溝を形成し、その切込溝内において電線の導体外周面にサークリップを係合保持させたことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明による電線接続具を、図に示す実施形態に基づいて具体的に説明する。図1は本発明による電線接続具の一実施形態を示すもので、本実施形態は接続具本体1の導体挿入孔10内に電線2の導体21を挿入した状態に抜け止め係止する係止手段として、接続具本体1の両端部近傍に切込溝16を形成し、その切込溝16内において導体21の外周面にサークリップ4を係合保持させたものである。

上記の接続具本体1は全体略筒状に形成され、その軸線方向両端部に断面円形の導体挿入孔10が形成され、その両導体挿入孔10・10間に隔壁11が設けられている。また 電線2は、本実施形態においては直線状の導体21を複数本束ねたものが用いられ、特に図の場合は図1(b)に示すように中央部に1本、その周囲に6本の導体21を全体略円形に束ねたものが用いられている。また切込溝16は図1(b)に示すように比較的深く形成され、サークリップ4は本実施形態においては、E字形のものが用いられている。

上記の構成において、接続具本体1の導体挿入孔10内に電線2の導体21を挿入し、上記切込溝16内にサークリップ4を挿入して導体21の外周に嵌めると、サークリップ4が導体21の外周面に圧接固定されると共に、該サークリップ4が切込溝16内に位置して導体21が抜け止め係止される。その状態で接続具本体1を圧縮することによって接続具本体1と電線2とを確実に連結接続できるものである。

なお接続具本体1に対する図1で左右の電線2・2の接続作業は、各々別々に行ってもよく、あるいは同時に行ってもよい。また上記実施形態においては、接続具本体両端部の導体挿入孔10・10間に隔壁11を設けたが、そのような隔壁を設けることなく、導体挿入孔10を接続具本体10の軸線方向全長にわたって連通させて設けるようにしてもよい。さらに上記実施形態においては、電線2として直線状の導体21を7本束ねた構成のものを用いたが、その本数は適宜であり、また複数本の撚り線や1本の導体よりなる電線も適用できる。

【発明の効果】
以上、説明したように本発明による電線接続具は、接続すべき電線2の導体21を、接続具本体1の導体挿入孔10内に挿入した状態に抜け止め係止する係止手段として、接続具本体1の両端部近傍に切込溝16を形成し、その切込溝16内において導体21の外周面にサークリップ4を係合保持させたから、接続具本体1を圧縮する際に、導体がずれたり、抜け落ちることなく確実に圧縮できると共に、例えば電柱上でひとりで作業を行う場合にも容易・迅速に導電接続できるもので、この種の電線接続作業の能率および信頼性を大幅に向上させることができできる等の効果がある。
