Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention collects stool used as a sample for clinical examination, particularly a sample for detecting occult blood, enzyme, virus, etc., and puts the quantified amount in a stool dissolution buffer in a container to make a suspension. The present invention relates to a stool collection container that is convenient for transportation in a state.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Fecal occult blood tests are widely used for screening for colorectal cancer and rectal cancer, but in general, specimens are prepared and examined in hospitals based on stool collected at home.
In qualitative analysis using latex, because the amount of stool is restricted when preparing a sample, the specified stool collection rod is used. However, an accurate amount of stool can be collected using the stool collection rod. In the past, after collecting stool, the stool collection rod was wiped with paper etc. to remove the extra stool.
[0003]
However, the stool is dirty and has a strong odor, and when wiping it with paper, the stool may accidentally adhere to the hand, etc. The problem was often caused by the bad smell. In addition, in the case of a conventional specimen container containing a stool lysis buffer, even in the case of some subjects such as the elderly, even if the lid was intended to be closed after stool collection, it could not be completely closed, and the Liquid leakage sometimes occurred.
[0004]
In order to solve the above problems, a stool collection container disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 2-140468 has been proposed. This stool collection container is obtained by sealing an elongate container body having a dropping portion at the tip with a lid with a stick. A rubber stopper having a stick insertion hole is fixed inside the container body, and the lid and the container body are fixed. The gap is sealed with an O-ring, and a malt and a filter are provided inside the dripping part. A stick is inserted into the insertion hole of the rubber plug to wipe off excess stool attached to the stick. It has become.
However, this stool collection container also has an expensive rubber stopper, and the rubber stopper must be fixed inside the container body. This increases the cost of the stool collection container, and drops the stool suspension. Since it is necessary to punch the sealing part of the dripping part with a punching machine, it takes time and there is a risk of dirtying the hand, and it is necessary to clean the punching machine every time. ing.
[0005]
Therefore, as a means for improving the shortcomings of the stool collection container of the above-mentioned Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 2-140468, a container body containing a liquid and a lid provided with a stool collection bar as disclosed in JP-A-6-186227. And a dripping portion, and a separation wall provided on the upper part of the container body can wipe off an excessive stool sample of the stool collection rod and perforate a thin end surface at the tip of the dripping portion. Thus, a stool sample dissolved in a liquid is filtered through a filter provided at the lower part of the container body, and a stool collection container which can be dripped quantitatively, or an intermediate part as disclosed in JP-A-8-292189 Comprises a container body containing a liquid closed with a thin film, a sample collecting means, and a cap member that closes the lower part of the container body, and when the thin film is pierced by the sample collecting part of the sample collecting means Stool test A stool collection container has been proposed in which the sample filtrate can be quantitatively dropped onto the determination chromatograph by removing the nozzle closure provided on the cap member. Yes.
[0006]
However, in any case, these stool collection containers are in a state in which the tip of the stool collection stick to which the stool is attached is exposed, so that the stool sample is not suspended until it is suspended in the suspension. The hands and surroundings may be soiled, and when the stool collection rod with stool attached is inserted into the container containing the suspension, stool may be accidentally attached to the outer wall of the container. In addition, it is troublesome and unclean, and there is a risk of being infected with viruses and bacteria.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a stool collection container having no possibility of being infected with a virus or bacteria and having good test accuracy and reproducibility.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of intensive investigations in view of the above circumstances, the present inventors have housed the stool collection part in a suitable hollow container until the stool collection stick with the stool attached is inserted into the container containing the suspension. The present invention has been completed. That is, the present invention includes a stool collection rod having a gripping portion at a proximal end and a stool collection portion at a distal end, a tubular member having open ends at which both ends of the stool collection rod can be inserted and retracted, and a proximal end portion of the collection member. And a container main body having a dropping part closed by a closing membrane that can be pierced by a toilet bar and closed by a closing means that can be easily opened at the tip, and the outer wall of the toilet bar and the inner wall of the tubular member are liquid The stool collection container is configured to be closely engaged, and the distal end portion of the tubular member and the proximal end portion of the container body are liquid-tightly engaged. Here, as the dropping means closing means, a thin film that can be easily broken, a closing body that can be easily twisted off at the fragile part, a rubber cap, or the like is preferably employed.
[0009]
According to the above configuration, the stool collection part can be exposed from the tubular member or accommodated in the tubular member by moving the stool collection rod forward or backward in the tubular member. By storing the stool collection part in the tubular member until it is attached, contamination by the stool sample can be avoided. Further, since the stool collection part of the stool collection rod is inserted into the container body through the closure membrane of the container body, excess stool collected while the stool collection part pierces the closure membrane. The sample is removed and a fixed amount of stool sample is collected in the container body.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view showing an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a view showing a state of the stool collection rod and the tubular member shown in FIG. 1 during stool collection, and FIG. FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a state in which the stool is retracted, and FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a state in which the stool collection rod is inserted into the container body in FIG. 5 is a view showing another embodiment of the dropping section shown in FIG. 1, and FIG. 6 is a view showing still another embodiment of the dropping section.
As shown in FIG. 1, the stool collection container of the present invention comprises a stool collection rod 1, a tubular member 2, and a container body 3, and the tubular member 2 has both ends so that the stool collection rod 1 can be inserted and retracted. The container body 3 is closed at its proximal end with a closing membrane 31 that can be pierced by the stool collection rod 1, and has a dropping portion 32 that is closed at its distal end by a closing means 4 that can be easily opened. Yes. The outer wall of the stool collection rod 1 and the inner wall of the tubular member 2 and the distal end portion of the tubular member 2 and the proximal end portion of the container body 3 are engaged with each other in a liquid-tight manner.
[0011]
As shown in FIGS. 2 to 3, the stool collection rod 1 has a grip portion 11 having a relatively large diameter, which is a portion gripped by hand when collecting stool, and collects a stool sample attached to the tip. Therefore, the stool collection part 12 having a relatively small diameter is provided. The stool collection unit 12 is provided with a groove 121, a notch, a hole (not shown) and the like for attaching stool. A portion between the grip portion 11 and the stool collection portion 12 has an outer diameter slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the tubular member 2, and the outer wall is screwed with a female screw 21 (described later) provided on the inner wall of the tubular member 2. Male screws 13 and 14 are provided. By screwing the female screw 21 and the male screws 13 and 14, the space between the outer wall of the stool collection rod 1 and the inner wall of the tubular member 2 is liquid-tightly sealed. The male screw may be provided in the entire portion except for the grip portion 11 and the stool collection portion 12, but as shown in FIG. 2, the male screw is provided only in the portion adjacent to the grip portion 11 and the stool collection portion 12, and the male screws 13 and 14 are provided. It is preferable to form discontinuously. By making the male screws 13 and 14 discontinuous, the stool collection rod 1 in the tubular member 2 can be easily advanced and retracted, and when the stool collection rod 1 is retracted in the tubular member 2, the male screw 14 Hits the female screw 21 of the tubular member 2 and the backward movement of the stool collection rod 1 is prevented, so that the stool collection part 12 can be easily accommodated in a predetermined position of the tubular member 2 by screwing the male screw 14 and the female screw 21 together. be able to.
[0012]
Both ends of the tubular member 2 are open, and the stool collection rod 1 can be inserted in such a manner as to be able to advance and retreat. A female screw 21 that engages with the male screws 13 and 14 of the stool collection rod 1 protrudes from the inner wall at the proximal end of the tubular member 2 so that the stool collection unit 12 can be accommodated in the container body 3 when collecting stool. The male screw 13 and the female screw 21 are sometimes screwed together, and the male screw 14 and the female screw 21 are screwed together when the stool collection part 12 of the stool collection rod 1 is accommodated in the tubular member 2. The distal end portion of the tubular member 2 and the proximal end portion of the container body 3 are screwed together, and in FIG. 1, a male screw 22 provided on the outer wall of the distal end portion of the tubular member 2 is a proximal end of the container body 3 described later. It is adapted to be screwed with a male screw 32 provided on the inner wall of the part. The space between the distal end portion of the tubular member 2 and the proximal end portion of the container body 3 is sealed in a liquid-tight manner by the male screw 22 and the female screw 32 being screwed together. An annular protrusion 23 for centering the stool collection rod 1 may be provided on the inner wall of the tubular member 2 in the vicinity of the male screw 22. In addition, a female screw 24 that is screwed into the male screw 14 may be provided on the proximal end side in the vicinity of the annular protrusion 23. Regarding the screwing of the tubular member 2 and the container main body 3, a female screw (not shown) is provided on the inner wall of the distal end portion of the tubular member 2, and a male screw (not shown) provided on the proximal end portion outer wall of the container main body 3. ).
[0013]
The container body 3 is a cylindrical container in which a stool dissolution buffer (not shown) is accommodated, and the base end is closed by a closing membrane 31 that can be pierced by the stool collection rod 1. The dropping part 33 is provided at the tip. The closing membrane 31 is a thin film provided close to the proximal end, and an extra portion of the stool sample collected on the stool collection rod 1 is inserted into the container body 3 by inserting the stool collection rod 1 through the closure membrane 31. When it is done, it is wiped here. The dripping portion 33 is closed by a closing means that can be easily opened, and the closing means can be removed during use. As the closing means, a thin film 41 as shown in FIG. 1, a closing body 42 that can be broken by a fragile portion 421 as shown in FIG. 5, a rubber cap 43 as shown in FIG. If necessary, a filter 34 for removing the solid matter in the specimen may be provided on the proximal end side adjacent to the dropping unit 33.
[0014]
As a material for forming the stool collection container, for the stool collection rod 1, for example, synthetic resin such as ABS resin, polyethylene, or polypropylene is suitably employed, and for the tubular member 2 or the dropping portion 33, for example, polyethylene, polypropylene, or polyvinyl chloride. As for the container body, a transparent synthetic resin such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyester, polystyrene, or the like is suitably employed. For the rubber cap 43, butyl rubber, isoprene rubber, or the like can be used. In the stool dissolution buffer, a solution containing a small amount of sodium azide or ammonium chloride as a preservative is employed.
[0015]
Next, the use of the stool collection container of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
In a stool collection container as shown in FIG. 1 (the stool collection stick 1 and the tubular member 2 are generally removed from the container body 3), first, the stool collection stick 1 as shown in FIG. A member inserted through the member 2 is prepared, and a stool sample is attached to the stool collection unit 12 and collected. Next, when the male screw 13 of the stool collection rod 1 is removed from the female screw 21 of the tubular member 2, the stool collection rod 1 is retracted and the male screw 14 and the female screw 21 are screwed together, as shown in FIG. 12 is accommodated in the generally tubular member 2. Next, as shown in FIG. 1, the male screw 22 of the tubular member 2 is screwed with the female screw 32 of the container body 3 (at this time, the space between the outer wall of the tubular member 2 and the inner wall of the container body 3 is sealed in a liquid-tight manner. Then, the male screw 14 of the stool collection rod 1 and the female screw 21 of the tubular member 2 are unscrewed to advance the stool collection rod 1, and the stool collection rod 1 pierces the closing membrane 31 of the container body 3. For example, since an excessive stool sample adhering to the stool collection unit 12 is wiped off, a fixed amount of stool sample is collected in the container body 3. If the male screw 13 of the stool collection rod 1 and the female screw 21 of the tubular member 2 are screwed together (see FIG. 4), the space between the outer wall of the stool collection rod 1 and the inner wall of the tubular member 2 is liquid-tightly sealed. The stool sample (hereinafter referred to as a specimen) that has been naturally dissolved in the internal stool dissolution buffer and made into a suspension does not leak. If the thin film 41 of the dropping unit 33 is broken by a dedicated spike (not shown) or the like, the specimen can be dropped from the dropping unit 33 and used for the inspection.
