【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、学習机，事務机などの机であって、机本体に対して移動可能とされた袖机を有した可動式袖机付机に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来の可動式袖机付机は、机本体に対して移動可能とされた袖机にかかり、その天板部が固定式、あるいは昇降式のものがある。また、上棚（ラック）は、机本体の天板上に設けられることで本棚や各種置棚としてその価値を発揮することができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述した従来の可動式袖机付机では、袖机において、天板部が固定式のものは、その形態の範囲内でしか利用方法の選択肢がない。例えば、袖机の天板部と机本体の天板との高さを同じくするためには、机本体での天板の高さ調整機構がなければ実現することができないという問題がある。また、袖机において、天板部が昇降式のものは、袖机の天板部と机本体の天板との高さを同じくして利用することは可能であるが、袖机を机本体の天板下に収納して使用する形態では固定式と同等以上の利用ができず、机本体から引き出せる広域のスペースがなければその価値が発揮できないという問題があった。また、上棚は、机本体の天板上に置く以外に利用ができないという問題がある。

そこで本発明は、上記課題を解消するために、可動式の袖机としての様々な利用形態を得ることができるとともに、その利用形態を机本体に設ける上棚と連係することができる可動式袖机付机を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するため本発明による請求項１に記載の可動式袖机付机は、
机本体に対して移動可能とされた袖机を有した可動式袖机付机において、
天板部と、該天板部の下方に延設する脚部とを有してなり、該脚部が前記袖机の上部に着脱可能とされた補助天板を備え、
該補助天板を前記袖机に取り付けて前記机本体の天板に連なる机上領域を得る形態と、前記補助天板を前記袖机から外して前記机本体の天板に置いた上棚としての形態とを得ることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面を参照して具体的に説明する。
図１は本発明の可動式袖机付机にかかる袖机を示す斜視図である。

図１に示すように、袖机１は、対向して立設された左右の側板２を有している。各側板２の上端面２ａは、水平且つ平坦とされている。また、各側板２の間の上部には、袖机１の上面をなす略水平な天板３が設けられている。また、各側板２の間の後部には、背板４が設けられている。これら各側板２、天板３、背板４に囲まれる部位には、前側に引き出し可能な引出５が設けられている。

また、袖机１は、各側板２の下端部にキャスター６が設けられて、後述する机本体２０に対して移動可能とされている。また、最下段の引出５の底面にもキャスター６が設けられて、その引き出しが容易とされ、且つ、引出５を引き出した状態での袖机１の安定性が確保されている。

なお、図１において、袖机１は、各側板２の上端面２ａと、背板４の上端面４ａとが連続する平坦面をなしているが、これに限らない。また、図１において、袖机１は、天板３の面が、各側板２の端面２ａや背板４の上端面４ａよりも下方に位置しているが、各側板２の端面２ａや背板４の上端面４ａと連続する平坦面をなしていてもよい。また、図１において、袖机１は、天板３が各側板２の間に設けられているが、各側板２の上端面２ａ（および背板４の上端面４ａ）の上に設けられていてもよい。

上記袖机１の上部には、補助天板７が配される。補助天板７は、水平な天板部８と、この天板部８の底面の左右側端にて対向して下方に延設された板状の脚部９とを有している。各脚部９の間の後部には、板状の補強部１０が設けられている。各脚部９の間隔は、袖机１の各側板２と同じ間隔とされている。また、本実施の形態では、天板部８が、袖机１の上面（天板３）よりも前後方向に小さい形状とされている。なお、脚部９は、板状に限らず柱状などであってもよい。

袖机１の上部であって、各側板２の上端面２ａには、上方に延出された係合突起１２が設けられている。また、補助天板７の各脚部９には、係合突起１２と係脱し得るように下方に開口する係合穴１３が穿設されている。補助天板７は、係合穴１３を係合突起１２に係合することにより、袖机１の上部に取り付けられる。また、補助天板７は、係合突起１２から係合穴１３を外すことにより袖机１から取り外される。このように、補助天板７は、袖机１の上部に着脱可能である。なお、係合突起１２は、袖机１が天板３を各側板２の上端面２ａの上に設けた構成である場合には、天板３に設けられる。

係合突起１２と係合穴１３との係合は、係脱機構により係脱可能とされる。
図２は係脱機構を示す斜視図である。
図２に示すように、係合突起１２の先端の周囲には、溝部１２ａが形成されている。一方、係合穴１３にかかり、互いに対向する脚部９の内側面には、係合穴１３に対して直交して連通する操作穴１４が穿設されている。操作穴１４の内部には、筒状の支持部材１５が固定されている。

支持部材１５には、係合穴１３に連通する支持穴１５ａが設けられている。また、支持部材１５の内部には、円柱状の操作部材１６が回転可能にして設けられている。操作部材１６の周面には、係合穴１３（および支持穴１５ａ）に連通する遊挿凹部１６ａが形成されている。遊挿凹部１６ａは、係合穴１３から挿通された係合突起１２の先端を遊挿する。また、操作部材１６の周面には、遊挿凹部１６ａに対して操作部材１６の回転方向に連なる係合凹部１６ｂが形成されている。係合凹部１６ｂは、操作部材１６の回転に際して、その開口縁が係合突起１２の溝部１２ａに係合する。

また、操作部材１６において、操作穴１４（および支持部材１５）から脚部９の内側面に表出する面には、ドライバーなどの工具が嵌合される嵌合部１６ｃが形成されている。また、操作部材１６において、脚部９の内側面に表出する面には、操作部材１６の遊挿凹部１６ａが係合穴１３（および支持穴１５ａ）に連通する位置に操作部材１６の回転位置があることが確認できる目印１６ｄが形成されている。この目印１６ｄは、本実施の形態では、遊挿凹部１６ａが係合穴１３（および支持穴１５ａ）に連通する位置にあるときに、係合突起１２が挿通される下方を向く矢印として形成されている。

上記構成の係脱機構では、係合突起１２に係合穴１３を挿通することにより、袖机１の上部に補助天板７が載置される。この際、係合突起１２の先端が係合穴１３（および支持穴１５ａ）を介して遊挿凹部１６ａに遊挿される。そして、操作部材１６を回転操作することで、係合凹部１６ｂが係合突起１２の溝部１２ａに係合する。これにより、袖机１の上部に対して補助天板７が固定される。また、操作部材１６を上述した基の位置に戻すことにより、袖机１に対する補助天板７の固定が解除されて袖机１から補助天板７を取り外すことが可能となる。なお、袖机１の上部に取り付けられた補助天板７の天板部８の高さは、後述する机本体２０の天板２０ａと同じ高さとなるように設定されている。

なお、支持部材１５は、操作部材１６の回転操作に際して、操作部材１６の操作穴１４からの抜け止めと、その回転を適宜行えるようにするためのものであり、支持部材１５を設けなくても上記係脱作用を得ることができる。

上記係合突起１２は、袖机１から取り外すことが可能とされている。
図３（ａ）は係合突起を示す斜視図、図３（ｂ）は係合突起を外した後を示す斜視図である。
図３（ａ）に示すように、係合突起１２の下端部には、雄ネジ部１２ｂが形成されている。係合突起１２が設けられる各側板２の上端面２ａ（あるいは天板３）には、取付穴としての雌ネジ部１７が埋設されている。すなわち、雄ネジ部１２ａを雌ネジ部１７に螺合させることによって係合突起１２が取り付けられ、前記螺着を外すことによって係合突起１２が取り外される。また、図３（ｂ）に示すように、係合突起１２が外された後の雌ネジ部１７には、雌ネジ部１７を目隠しする化粧部材１８が嵌め込まれる。

ところで、図１に示すように、係合穴１３および係合穴１３にかかる係脱機構は、本実施の形態では、各脚部９に各二個ずつ計四箇所設けられている。係合突起１２は、係合穴１３の位置に対応して各側板２の上端面２ａ（あるいは天板３の左右）に各二個ずつ計四箇所設けられている。また、係合突起１２を取り付ける雌ネジ部１７は、上記四箇所の別に係合穴１３の位置に対応して各側板２の上端面２ａ（あるいは天板３の左右）に各二個ずつ計四箇所設けられている。なお、係合穴１３および係合穴１３にかかる係脱機構は、脚部９側に少なくとも二個設けられていればよく上記四個に限らない。また、係合突起１２も袖机１側に少なくとも二個設けられていればよく上記四個に限らない。さらに、雌ネジ部１７は、係合穴１３に応じて係合突起１２が係合できる位置と数が設けられていればよい。

以下、上記構成の可動式袖机付机の各形態を説明する。
図４乃至図６は可動式袖机付机の形態を示す斜視図である。
最初に、机本体２０は、図４に示すように、水平な天板２０ａを左右の側脚２０ｂで支持する構成とされており、天板２０ａの下側には、上述の袖机１が収納される。

上記机本体２０に対し、図４に示すように、天板２０ａの下側から引き出した袖机１の上部に補助天板７を取り付ける。この形態では、袖机１を机本体２０の脇に置くことにより、補助天板７の天板部８が、机本体２０の天板２０ａに連なる机上領域が得られる。この形態の場合、補助天板７の天板部８と、袖机１の天板３との間（天板３上）の領域も利用できる。

また、図５に示すように、天板２０ａの下側から引き出した袖机１の上部に補助天板７を取り付ける。この形態でも、図４に示す形態と同様に、袖机１を机本体２０の脇に置くことにより、補助天板７の天板部８が、机本体２０の天板２０ａに連なる机上領域が得られる。この形態の場合、補助天板７の天板部８と、袖机１の天板３との間（天板３上）の領域も利用できる。

なお、図５に示す形態では、袖机１に設けられる係合突起１２が、図１で示す雌ネジ部１７とは別の雌ネジ部１７に取り付けられている。上述したように、補助天板７の天板部８は、袖机１の上面（天板３）よりも前後方向に小さい形状とされている。すなわち、図５に示す形態では、補助天板７の位置が袖机１の前方に取り付けられ、図４に示す形態では、補助天板７の位置が袖机１の後方に取り付けられる。

また、図６に示すように、袖机１の上部から補助天板７を外し、袖机１を机本体２０の天板２０ａの下側に収納する。そして、外した補助天板７を机本体２０の天板２０ａの上に載置する。この形態では、上記の如く袖机１の上部において、天板２０ａと連なる机上領域をなし得る補助天板７が、机上にて上棚としての形態をなし得ることとなる。なお、図６に示す形態では、全ての係合突起１２が外される。

なお、上記図４乃至図６に示す各形態において、係合突起１２を外した部分には上述の化粧部材１８が嵌め込まれる。

したがって、このように構成された可動式袖机付机では、可動式の袖机１の上部に着脱可能とされた補助天板７を備え、補助天板７を袖机１に取り付けて机本体２０の天板２０ａに連なる机上領域を得る図４および図５に示す形態と、補助天板７を袖机１から外して机本体２０の天板２０ａに置いた上棚としての図６に示す形態とを得る。また、補助天板７の袖机１に取り付けられる位置を前後に変えて図４あるいは図５に示す形態を得る。これにより、可動式の袖机１としての様々な利用形態を得ることが可能であるとともに、その利用形態を机本体２０に設ける上棚と連係することが可能となる。

また、袖机１に対する補助天板７の取り付けは、袖机１の係合突起１２と、補助天板７の係合穴１３との係脱機構による係合によりなるため、補助天板７の袖机１への取り付け状態を不用意に外れることなく確実に行い、且つ、その着脱を容易に行うことが可能である。

また、袖机１の係合突起１２を着脱可能とし、その雌ネジ部１７（取付穴）を塞ぐ化粧部材１８を有したことにより、補助天板７の袖机１に対する各取り付け形態、および補助天板７を机本体２０の天板２０ａに載置した形態のときに、使用しない係合突起１２を外すことが可能であるとともに、係合突起１２を外した際の見栄えを良くすることが可能となる。

以下、他の構成の可動式袖机付机について説明する。
図７（ａ）（ｂ）、図８（ａ）（ｂ）および図９は他の構成の可動式袖机付机の形態を示す。なお、以下の実施の形態は、袖机１および補助天板７の構成が異なる。

図７（ａ）（ｂ）および図８（ａ）（ｂ）に示すように、袖机１は、対向して立設された左右の側板２を有している。各側板２の上端面２ａは、水平且つ平坦とされている。また、各側板２の間の略中央部には、略水平な天板３が設けられている。また、各側板２の間の後部には、背板４が設けられている。これら各側板２、天板３、背板４に囲まれる部位には、前側に引き出し可能な引出５が設けられている。

また、袖机１は、各側板２の下端部にキャスター６が設けられて、机本体２０に対して移動可能とされている。また、引出５の底面にもキャスター６が設けられて、その引き出しが容易とされ、且つ、引出５を引き出した状態での袖机１の安定性が確保されている。

この袖机１において、各側板２の内側面には、同じ高さに設けられた係合突起２２ａが設けられている。この係止突起２２ａは、各側板２に二箇所で計四個設けられている。この係合突起２２ａは、図示しないが、雄ネジ部を有して側板２の雌ネジ部に着脱可能とされていてもよい。また、袖机１の各側板２の上端面２ａには、係合穴２３ａが設けられている。この係合穴２３ａは、各側板２にそれぞれ一つずつ、あるいは一方の側板２に二つなど、少なくとも二つ設けられていればよい。

上記袖机１には、補助天板７が配される。補助天板７は、水平な天板部８と、この天板部８の底面の左右側端にて対向して下方に延設された板状の脚部９とを有している。各脚部９の間の後部には、板状の補強部１０が設けられている。各脚部９の間隔は、袖机１の各側板２の間に挿通される間隔とされている。また、本実施の形態では、天板部８の下側に引出５が設けられている。

この補助天板７において、天板部８の底面の左右側端には、袖机１の係合穴２３ａに係合する係合突起２３ｂが設けられている。この係合突起２３ｂは、図示しないが、雄ネジ部を有して天板部８の雌ネジ部に着脱可能とされていてもよい。また、補助天板７の脚部９の下端には、袖机１の係合突起２２ａに係合する係合凹部２２ｂが設けられている。

上記構成において、図７（ａ）（ｂ）に示すように、補助天板７の脚部９を袖机１の天板３の上に載置するように取り付ける。この場合、補助天板７の天板部８が袖机１の各側板２の高さに至る位置に調整されるので、補助天板７を取り付けた袖机１を机本体２０の下側に収納する形態が得られる。また、この際、補助天板７は、係合突起２３ｂが、袖机１の係合穴２３ａに係合するので、袖机１から容易に外れることがない。

また、図８（ａ）（ｂ）に示すように、補助天板７の脚部９に設けられた係合凹部２２ｂを、袖机１の各側板２に設けられた係合突起２２ａに係合させる。この場合、補助天板７の天板部８が机本体２０の天板２０ａと同じ高さに調整されるので、天板部８が机本体２０の天板２０ａに連なる机上領域を得る形態が得られる。

また、図９に示すように、補助天板７を袖机１から外し、袖机１を机本体２０の天板２０ａの下側に収納する。そして、外した補助天板７を机本体２０の天板２０ａの上に載置する。この場合、補助天板７を、机上にて上棚とした形態が得られる。

なお、上記図７（ａ）（ｂ）、図８（ａ）（ｂ）および図９に示す各形態において、係合突起２２ａ，２３ｂを外した部分には上述の化粧部材１８が嵌め込まれる。

したがって、他の構成の可動式袖机付机では、補助天板７を袖机１に取り付けて天板部８が机本体２０の天板２０ａに連なる机上領域を得る図８（ａ）に示す形態と、補助天板７を袖机１に取り付けて机本体２０の下側に収納される図７（ａ）に示す形態と、補助天板７を袖机１から外して机本体２０の天板２０ａに置いた上棚としての図９に示す形態とを得る。これにより、可動式の袖机１としての様々な利用形態を得ることが可能であるとともに、その利用形態を机本体２０に設ける上棚と連係することが可能となる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように本発明による可動式袖机付机は、天板部と、天板部の下方に延設する脚部とを有し、脚部が袖机の上部に着脱可能とされた補助天板を備え、補助天板を袖机に取り付けて机本体の天板に連なる机上領域を得る形態と、補助天板を袖机から外して机本体の天板に置いた上棚としての形態とを得る。これにより、可動式の袖机に対して、様々な利用形態を得ることができるとともに、その利用形態を机本体に設ける上棚と連係することができる。

また、補助天板が、天板部を袖机の上面よりも前後方向に小さい形状とされ、袖机の上部での取り付け位置を前後方向に変えて取り付けられるようにしたことにより、可動式の袖机に対して、利用形態をさらに増すことができる。

また、袖机の上部に係合突起を設け、補助天板の脚部に係合穴を設けて、係合突起と係合穴との係脱により補助天板を袖机の上部に着脱可能としたことにより、補助天板の脚部に突出部分がないので、補助天板を机本体の天板に載置する形態を容易に得ることができる。

また、机本体に対して移動可能とされた袖机を有した可動式袖机付机において、天板部と、天板部の下方に延設する脚部とを有し、脚部が袖机に対して天板部の高さを変えるように高さ調整可能、且つ、着脱可能とされた補助天板を備え、補助天板を袖机に取り付けて天板部が机本体の天板に連なる机上領域を得る形態と、補助天板を袖机に取り付けて机本体の下側に収納される形態と、補助天板を袖机から外して机本体の天板に置いた上棚としての形態とを得る。これによっても、上述と同様に可動式の袖机に対して、様々な利用形態を得ることができるとともに、その利用形態を机本体に設ける上棚と連係することができる。
