2. Description of the Related Art Large appliances such as refrigerators have been used in the past.
It was customary to pack using a wooden frame made of a combination of wooden boards and timber. Since then, with the remarkable improvement in the strength and cushioning properties of corrugated board, even large refrigerators and the like have come to be packed using corrugated board boxes. When packing in a corrugated cardboard box, in order to protect it from strong impacts during transportation and handling, the polystyrene foam packing and block with small pieces of corrugated cardboard are attached to the corners of the packaged item. The paper packing of the shape was applied.

However, the wooden frame is
It takes a lot of time and effort not only to make it, but also to pack and unpack it. And now it's becoming precious, but wasting wood is also a problem. On the other hand, the styrofoam packing used together with the corrugated cardboard box also wastes petroleum resources that may be depleted, and also causes various troublesome problems at the time of disposal. Therefore, as a result of various trials and errors concerning a more rational packing method that can avoid such problems, in the case of a packaged article having a strong box structure as a whole product such as a refrigerator, , It was found that even if the entire packaged goods are not necessarily put in a cardboard box, they can be sufficiently protected from external force and impact force while being received during transportation and handling.

As is apparent from the above description, the corrugated cardboard packaging material and the packaging method according to the present invention provide excellent practical effects as listed below. (A) For appliances such as refrigerators and dishwashers / dryers that have a box structure with a relatively strong casing,
It is possible to package very simply, safely and surely using only the minimum required amount of corrugated cardboard without using a conventional wooden frame or cardboard box. (B) Due to its unique assembly structure, it has excellent pressure resistance and shock-absorbing performance, so it is possible to surely shock-support even a considerably large and heavy packaged article. (C) The arrangement and number of bottom packings and auxiliary packings, or how to use them, can be freely changed according to the property of the packaged article.
