BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a pot for raising seedlings used for raising plant seedlings such as vegetables and flowers.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when raising plant seedlings such as vegetables and flowers, seedling pots made of a soft synthetic resin such as polyethylene or vinyl chloride are often used.

[0003] Such a pot has a single pot-like shape, and comprises a cylindrical side wall that terminates at an opening edge of an upper end of the pot, and a bottom wall with a drain hole that is continuous from the lower end of the side wall. The side walls and the bottom wall formed a room for accommodating soil for raising seedlings.

[0004] However, in such a seedling pot, the material is a soft synthetic resin such as polyethylene which is relatively soft, and is formed to be quite thin in order to save the material used and to reduce the weight. Even if ribs for use are formed, the stiffness is weak, the shape retention is poor, and it is difficult to handle.

[0005] Therefore, the above-mentioned earthing work for handling a large number of pots is extremely troublesome. In particular, to streamline the work of digging into each pot,
A large number of seedling raising pots are arranged in parallel, and it is performed to fill the seedlings in each pot at once, but if the pots are arranged in parallel on a simple tray,
The upper end opening edge of the pot side wall is bent, so that the seedling soil cannot be filled.

[0006] Therefore, in the above soiling work,
Using a special soil filling device such as a tray or a basket tray having a partition space partitioned by a lattice-like partition, each pot is fitted one by one into each partition space of the soil filling device, and a side wall is formed. It is also considered to fill the nursery soil while fixing it so that it does not bend (for example, Japanese Patent Publication No.
No. 33962). However, in this case, a large amount of labor is required for the setting operation of inserting the seedling raising pots one by one into the partition space of the soil stuffer and the taking-out work after putting in the soil.

[0007] The present invention has been made in view of the above, and as a seedling raising pot used for raising plant seedlings such as vegetables and flowers, it is necessary to set work on a soil stuffer for soil placement and floor placement. It is an object of the present invention to facilitate handling at the time of, etc., and to save labor and efficiency of the work.

According to the present invention, there is provided a seedling-growing pot for solving the above-mentioned problems, comprising a cylindrical side wall entirely formed of a synthetic resin or the like, having a thin wall, and terminating at an upper opening edge. A plurality of pots each having a bottom wall having a hole are connected in parallel in a plurality of rows and columns so as to form a tray shape as a whole in the same plane, and each pot is outwardly connected to an upper end opening edge of the side wall. With slightly protruding ears, adjacent pots are connected at only one of the ears facing each other by a separable connecting portion having a very small width without being connected on the entire outer periphery. It is characterized in that it can be easily separated into a single pot by tearing the connecting portion after filling the soil or after raising the seedlings.

In the above, it is preferable that the width of the connecting ear portion of each pot is 1 to 5 mm. That is, if the width of the connecting ears is less than 1 mm, there is no effect due to the provision of the ears, and if the width of the ears exceeds 5 mm, the form in which a large number of pots are juxtaposed and connected becomes large. The overhang of the ears in the state of being separated into the pot becomes large, which is not preferable.

According to the above-mentioned seedling raising pot of the present invention, the required number of pots is required because the adjacent pots are detachably connected to each other at the connection portion of the ear at the upper end of the side wall. Can be stored and set on the under tray or basket tray with one touch, and can be easily arranged on the soil stuffer,
Compared to the conventional case where one pot was set side by side,
Can work several tens of times more efficiently.

Further, the seedling raising pot has an ear at the upper end of the side wall of each pot, which serves as a kind of reinforcing edge, and the adjacent pots are connected to each other at the connecting portion of the ear. In combination with each other to act to regulate the bending of the side walls, and has a high form retention, causing the pot to break at the time of soiling without using an under tray or a basket tray as in the conventional method. There is no fear.

[0012] Moreover, after filling or raising seedlings,
In the case of separating each pot, if the adjacent pots are separated from each other at the connecting portions of the ear portions facing each other, this connecting portion is only at one location of the opposing ear portions of the adjacent pots, and Since the connecting portions are detachably connected to each other with a very small width, the connecting portion can be easily torn, and can be easily separated into a single pot.
