Description

The present invention relates to a battery inspection device that can easily inspect the state of capacity of a so-called coin-type and button-type battery.

There are various types of batteries, such as button-type batteries and cylindrical batteries, depending on the application, and there are many batteries having different voltages, capacities, and shapes. Conventionally, a battery inspection device shown in FIG. 6 has been known as a device for simply inspecting the state of the capacity of a battery (see Japanese Utility Model Registration No. 3084739). The battery inspection device 20 of FIG. 6 includes an inspection device main body 21 and an inverted L-shaped holding piece 22 above the right side surface of the inspection device main body 21, and the holding piece 22 is slidably movable up and down. It is configured. In addition, a metal electrode contact is provided on the upper surface of the inspection device main body 21, and a metal plate-shaped electrode contact is formed in an inverted L shape inside the top portion 22b and the rising portion 22c of the holding piece 22. ing. When inspecting the state of the AA cylindrical battery C, as shown in FIG. 6, the battery C is sandwiched between the upper surface of the tester main body 21 and the sandwiching piece 22, and each electrode contact is connected to the positive electrode and the negative electrode terminal of the battery C. Contact. At this time, a load is applied to the battery, a current flows, and the needle 26 swings in the display panel 25 to indicate the state of the battery capacity. The display plate 25 shows three types of color-coded areas of “replacement (REPLACE)”, “weak (WEAK)”, and “good (GOOD)”. It is possible to know the availability status.

The battery inspection device 20 is configured to be able to inspect not only the AA cylindrical battery, but also the capacity status of A1 to 5 cylindrical batteries, flat small button batteries, and 9 V square batteries. . When inspecting the state of the button-shaped battery B, the same as the cylindrical battery C, it is sandwiched between the upper surface of the tester main body 21 and the holding piece 22, whereas the rectangular battery has both the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal on the upper surface of the battery. Since they are juxtaposed, the inspection can be performed by contacting the electrode contacts 27 provided on the bottom surface of the inspection device main body 21.

In the battery tester which inspects a plurality of types of batteries as described above, unless appropriate loads are applied to batteries having different voltages, the batteries may be damaged or the life thereof may be shortened. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to specify a coin-shaped battery and a button-shaped battery as inspection targets, prevent improper use at the time of inspection, apply an appropriate load to the battery, and furthermore, a battery that is easy to use. To provide an inspection device.

In order to achieve the above object, a battery inspection device of the present invention includes a housing, an electric circuit built in the housing, a metal plate-shaped electrode contact connected to the electric circuit and exposed on an outer surface, A display unit for displaying a state of the capacity of the battery when the electrode terminal of the battery is brought into contact with the electrode contact, wherein the battery inspector is a coin-shaped battery inspection for inspecting a coin-shaped battery. And a button-type battery inspection unit for inspecting the button-type battery, and a boundary wall provided along a boundary between the button-type battery inspection unit and the coin-type battery inspection unit. A first negative contact provided on a battery mounting surface, and a first positive contact provided upright so that a side surface of a coin-shaped battery mounted on the first negative contact comes into contact with the first negative contact; The battery inspection unit includes a button-shaped battery mounting surface and the button-shaped battery A second negative electrode contact provided on the pond mounting surface, a second positive electrode contact erected such that the side surface of the button-type battery mounted on the second negative electrode contact comes into contact, and the button-type battery inspection And a guard member provided so that the coin-shaped battery cannot be inspected at the portion.

According to the battery inspection device according to the present invention, first, the inspection target is specified to a coin-shaped battery and a button-shaped battery, and a boundary wall is provided along a boundary of each battery inspection unit, and a guard is provided on the button-shaped battery mounting surface. Since the member is provided, it is possible to avoid erroneous use at the time of inspection and to shorten the life of the battery and prevent damage. Next, since the state of the battery capacity is configured to be visible simply by abutting the electrode terminals of the battery mounted on the coin-shaped or button-shaped battery mounting surface with the respective electrode contacts, it is very easy to replace the battery. Inspection can be performed. In addition, since the boundary wall also plays a role of suitably guiding the battery to each electrode contact, the usability is good and the operation is simple.

In the above, it is preferable that the guard member is formed of a guard wall provided on a side of the button-shaped battery mounting surface.

With this configuration, it is possible to reliably prevent the coin-shaped battery from being placed on the button-type battery mounting surface, and to prevent the button-type battery from dropping from the side of the mounting surface.

In the above, the coin-shaped battery mounting surface and the button-shaped battery mounting surface are each formed in a substantially rectangular shape in a plan view, and the coin-shaped or button-shaped battery is directed toward the first or second negative electrode contact. Those having an area that can be slid are preferred.

By forming an area in which a coin-type or button-type battery can slide on each battery mounting surface, at the time of inspection, first place a coin-type or button-type battery in the area in which the battery can slide, and place the battery with a finger or the like as an electrode. By sliding in the contact direction, the battery is guided by the boundary wall, and the electrode terminals of the battery are appropriately arranged at positions where they contact the respective electrode contacts. Therefore, workability and operability are improved, and the state of the battery capacity can be inspected more easily. Further, since the type of the battery to be inspected can be displayed in the above-mentioned area, it is possible to prevent erroneous use at the time of inspection.

In the above, it is preferable that the housing is a substantially rectangular parallelepiped, and that the coin-shaped battery inspection unit and the button-shaped battery inspection unit are arranged side by side below the display unit.

With the above configuration, it is easy to check the state of the battery capacity in a state where the coin-shaped or button-shaped battery is in contact with each battery contact, so that workability and operability are improved, and the battery is more easily inspected. be able to.

In the above, it is preferable that a cover that covers the coin-shaped battery inspection unit and the button-shaped battery inspection unit is provided.

According to the above configuration, since the electrode contacts can be covered with the cover to suppress the exposure except at the time of the inspection, it is possible to prevent the electrode contacts from being damaged or adhered with dirt.

In the above, the cover is formed in a sliding manner, and the cover slides to push a coin-shaped battery or a button-shaped battery placed on the coin-shaped battery mounting surface or the button-shaped battery mounting surface. It is preferable that the first negative contact or the second negative contact be formed so as to be able to move and be disposed on the second negative contact.

With the above configuration, the cover can be easily opened and closed, and the usability is improved. In addition, since the sliding cover is configured to be able to push the batteries arranged on each battery mounting surface and arrange them on the negative electrode contact, the state of the battery capacity can be inspected more easily. Further, in the above configuration, since the cover does not close when the battery is placed on the negative electrode contact, it is possible to prevent the battery from being left in the battery inspection device.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a front view showing an example of a battery tester according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view. The battery inspection device 10 has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape as a whole, has a size that can be put on a palm, and is made of resin except that the conductor is made of metal in order to reduce the weight. I have. The battery inspection device 10 can be roughly divided into a coin-type battery inspection unit 3, a button-type battery inspection unit 4, and a display unit 2. Hereinafter, each part will be described.

First, the coin-shaped battery inspection unit 3 is provided at the lower left part of the battery inspection device 10 in a front view, and includes a coin-shaped battery mounting surface 31 and a metal plate-shaped negative electrode contact 32 (corresponding to the first negative electrode contact). And a positive electrode contact 33 (corresponding to the first positive electrode contact). The coin-shaped battery mounting surface 31 is formed in a planar shape and is formed in a vertically long rectangular shape as viewed from the front, and has a size suitable for mounting the coin-shaped battery A (for example, about 32 mm long × about 23 mm wide). Is set to The negative contact 32 is provided to be inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the tester 10, and the positive contact 33 is erected so that the side surface of the coin-shaped battery A mounted on the negative contact 32 abuts. ing.

Next, the button-shaped battery inspection unit 4 is provided next to the coin-shaped battery inspection unit 3 with the boundary wall 1 interposed therebetween, and includes a button-shaped battery mounting surface 41 and a metal plate-shaped negative electrode contact 42 (the above-mentioned). And a positive contact 43 (corresponding to the second positive contact). Like the coin-shaped battery mounting surface 31, the button-shaped battery mounting surface 41 is also formed in a planar shape and is formed in a vertically elongated rectangle in a front view. (Approximately 32 mm long × about 12 mm wide). The negative contact 42 is provided to be inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the tester 10, and the positive contact 43 is erected so that the side surface of the button-type battery B mounted on the negative contact 42 abuts. ing. A guard wall 5 (corresponding to the guard member) is provided on a side facing the boundary wall 1.

The display unit 2 is provided at an upper part in a front view of the battery inspection device 10 and includes a display plate 9 having a transparent resin fitted on the surface. In the display panel 9, two indications 11 and 12 of three kinds of colors of "replacement (REPLACE)", "weak (WEAK)" and "good (GOOD)" are provided, and according to the magnitude of the current flowing through the battery. A swinging needle 8 is provided, and the displays 11 and 12 display the inspection results in the coin battery inspection unit 3 and the button battery inspection unit 4, respectively.

図3(a)はコイン形電池の例としてコイン形リチウム電池A(例えば、JIS C8512におけるCR1216)を、図3(b)はボタン形電池の例としてボタン形アルカリ電池B(例えば、JIS C8511におけるLR54)をそれぞれ示している。 As described above, the batteries targeted by the battery tester 10 are a coin battery and a button battery. 3A shows a coin-type lithium battery A (for example, CR1216 in JIS C8512) as an example of a coin-type battery, and FIG. 3B shows a button-type alkaline battery B (for example, in JIS C8511) as an example of a button-type battery. LR54). In FIG. 3, negative electrode cap terminals 6A and 6B are formed on the upper surface of the battery, and the other outer surfaces are covered with positive electrode cases 7A and 7B. That is, the upper surface of the battery in FIG. 3 is a negative electrode terminal, and the bottom surface and side surfaces are positive electrode terminals.

Next, a case where the button type battery B is inspected using the battery inspector 10 will be described. First, the button-type battery B is mounted on the button-type battery mounting surface 41 such that the cap terminal 6B serving as the negative electrode faces the negative electrode contact 42. At this time, the button-shaped battery B is placed near the lower part in the front view of the button-shaped battery mounting surface 41 and slid toward the negative electrode contact 42 with a finger. It can be simply arranged on the contact 42. Most coin-shaped batteries have a larger diameter than the button-shaped batteries, and the guard wall 5 can prevent the coin-shaped batteries from being mounted on the button-shaped battery mounting surface 41. The guard wall 5 can also prevent the button type battery B from dropping from the side of the mounting surface 41.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the button-type battery B disposed on the negative contact 42 has a negative terminal in contact with the negative contact 42, and further has a battery side serving as a positive terminal having a positive contact 43. Is brought into contact with. As a result, the battery B is connected to the circuit incorporated in the battery tester 10, a load is applied, current flows, and the needle 8 in the display panel 9 swings to indicate the state of the battery capacity.

FIG. 4 shows an example of a circuit included in the battery tester 10. A coin-type battery is exclusively connected between the left contacts in FIG. 4, and a button-type battery is connected between the right contacts. The needle 8 swings according to the magnitude of the flowing current, and the inspection result is displayed in the display panel 9. The circuit provided in the battery tester according to the present invention is not limited to the one shown in FIG.

[Other embodiments]
(1) The battery inspection device according to the present invention may include a cover 13 that covers the coin-shaped battery inspection unit 3 and the button-shaped battery inspection unit 4, as shown in FIG. The cover 13 included in the battery tester 30 illustrated in FIG. 5 is configured to be slidable in the longitudinal direction. When the test is not performed, the cover 13 is slid in the arrow direction to close the cover. It is possible to prevent the electrode contacts from being damaged and from being stained. The cover provided in the battery tester of the present invention is not limited to a slide type, but may be a cover that opens and closes like a hinged door or a cover that can be removed like a lid.

(2) The cover provided in the battery inspection device according to the present invention is formed in a sliding manner, and is mounted on the coin-shaped battery mounting surface 31 or the button-shaped battery mounting surface 41 by sliding the cover. It is preferable that the coin-shaped battery or the button-shaped battery is formed so as to be pushed and arranged on the negative contact 32 or the negative contact 42.

In the battery inspection device 30 shown in FIG. 5, a plate 14 is provided on the cover 13 so as to face the positive contacts 33 and 43. The plate 14 has a through hole 15 through which the boundary wall 1 can be inserted. By providing the plate 14 on the cover 13, for example, when the cover 13 is slid in the direction of the arrow while the button-type battery B is placed on the button-type battery mounting surface 41, the button-type battery B is pushed by the plate 14. Then, the user slides on the button-shaped battery mounting surface 41. The button-type battery B is disposed on the negative electrode contact 42 and is sandwiched between the plate 14 and the positive electrode contact 43, so that each electrode terminal 6B, 7B of the button-type battery B is connected to each electrode contact 42, 43. It abuts appropriately and is fixed in that position. As a result, workability and operability are improved, and the battery can be easily inspected.

(3) The guard member provided in the battery tester according to the present invention is not limited to the guard wall 5 as shown in the above-described embodiment. For example, the side facing the boundary wall 1 on the button-type battery mounting surface 41. The protrusion may be provided on the side.
