In general, the thickness of the elastic yarn is preferably about 7 to 1000 denier. If the thickness is less than 7 denier, the strength is weak, yarn breakage tends to occur, and twisting becomes difficult. On the other hand, if the thickness is larger than 1000 denier, the strength becomes too strong, and the feeling becomes poor. It is particularly preferred that it is about 10 to 300 denier.

Although the thickness of the foil yarn is not particularly limited, slit yarn or flat foil yarn (hereinafter referred to as slit yarn, etc.)
Is generally used, a thickness of about 3 to 30 μm and a width of about 0.
It is easy to handle about 15 to 10 mm, especially thickness 7 to
It is preferable that the thickness is about 25 μm and the width is about 0.16 to 3.3 mm. If the thickness is less than 3 μm, it is too thin, and the slit yarn or the like is easily stretched at the time of twisting. Also, if the width is less than 0.15mm,
It is too thin, and slit yarns etc. are easy to stretch during twisting.
If it is wider than mm, it will be too wide and difficult to handle, and the hand will be bad.

Further, in the state where the elastic yarn is stretched, the yarn wound in the opposite direction from the top of the foil yarn wound around the elastic yarn, or the yarn wound around the core yarn in which the stretched elastic yarn and the foil yarn are aligned. Since it is for preventing the displacement of the foil yarn and at the same time restricting the elongation of the elastic yarn, the yarn is preferably substantially non-stretchable. The type of fiber may be any of natural fiber, semi-synthetic fiber, and synthetic fiber, and may be short fiber or long fiber, but usually, polyamide fiber, polyester fiber, acrylic fiber It is preferable to use fiber, rayon fiber and the like. In particular, use of long fibers is preferred.

In the twisting method, in the case of the design yarn of a), the foil yarn and other yarns are preferably wound in a state where the elastic yarn is stretched 1.1 to 5.0 times. If the elongation percentage is less than 1.1, twisting is difficult, and the loop formation of the foil yarn is not enough. Conversely, if it is greater than 5.0, the elongation percentage is too large, and twisting is also difficult. The loops of the foil yarn become too large and are easily caught and difficult to handle. Further, in the case of the design yarn of b), it is preferable that the elastic yarn is stretched to about 1.5 to 5.0 times, the foil yarn is aligned, and another yarn is wound thereon. In any case, the stretched state of the elastic yarn at the time of twisting is preferably about 1.5 to 3.5 times.

In the case of the design yarn of a), the number of windings (twisting number) of the foil yarn around the elastic yarn differs depending on the stretched state of the elastic yarn and the thickness of the elastic yarn or the foil yarn. In the state,
Usually, it is preferably 50 to 1500 T / M. When the number of times is less than 50 T / M or more than 1500 T / M, the number of loops formed by the foil yarn is too small or too large, and it is difficult for the loops to appear on average.
It is difficult to obtain products with good texture. A particularly preferred number of twists is 100
600600 T / M.

Next, the number of windings (twisting number) of the other yarns wound in the opposite direction to the foil yarns from above the foil yarns in a state where the elastic yarns are stretched is 100 to 2000 T / M. Is preferred. If it is less than 100 T / M, it will not be reinforced, the foil thread will not be fixed, it will be easy to move in the longitudinal direction, and it will not be possible to obtain a good feeling. Conversely, 2000T / M
If the number is too large, the loops of the other yarns are too large, they are not fixed, easily move in the longitudinal direction, do not serve as reinforcement, and it is difficult to obtain a good feeling. A particularly preferred number of twists is 20
0 to 600 T / M. In addition, the number of twists of other yarns, which is useful for fixing the loop of the foil yarn, is usually equal to or more than the number of twists of the foil yarn, for example, preferably about 1 to 13 times the number of twists of the foil yarn, In particular, it is preferably about 1.2 to 5 times.

In the case of the design yarn of b), the number of twists of the other yarn wound around the core yarn composed of the elastic yarn in the stretched state and the foil yarn aligned with it is about 100 to 1000 T / M. preferable.

Generally, in any of the design yarns a) and b), the thickness of the foil yarn used together with the elastic yarn is the same as the thickness of the elastic yarn in the stretched state when the foil yarn is wound or aligned. On the other hand, it is preferably about 0.5 to 6 times in terms of denier. Also, the thickness of the other yarn wound from above,
The thickness is preferably about 0.5 to 10 times the thickness of the elastic yarn in the stretched state.

In the present invention, it is preferable to use such a design yarn as a knitted string or a lily yarn knitted with, for example, 2 to 10 needles. Although it may be produced in combination with other yarns such as cotton yarn, rayon yarn and acrylic yarn, it is preferable to produce the design yarn of the present invention alone from the viewpoint of both feeling and elasticity.

Example 5 A 140-denier elastic yarn (polyurethane yarn from Toray DuPont: operon) stretched 3.5 times, and this was aligned with a foil yarn to form a core yarn. Was twisted to the right with a twist number of 300 T / M. The foil yarn is obtained by forming an anchor coat layer of a polyester resin on a nylon film having a thickness of 15 μm, and forming a tin vapor deposition layer having a thickness of 450 mm on the anchor coat layer.
The sheets were stuck together with a polyester resin-based adhesive with the tin evaporation layer inside, and a flat foil thread slit to a width of 0.38 mm was used. The product obtained in this manner is a stretchy design yarn in which the loop of silver foil yarn is formed uniformly over the whole in a state where the elastic yarn has been released, and like the design yarn of Example 1, As a stretchable lily yan or directly woven and knitted, it can be widely used for stretchable clothing and the like.
