- 前記ガイドが、前記第1カテーテルによって規定された軸が前記ガイドを通って延び、前記第2ポートの管腔によって規定された軸が前記ガイドを通って延びるように、前記ハブの前記中央管腔内に配置され、
前記ガイドが、前記ガイドを通って延びる開口部を規定し、前記ガイドの前記開口部によって規定された軸が、前記第1カテーテルによって規定された前記軸と実質的に同軸である、請求項7に記載の装置。 - 前記ガイドが、円形構造である、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記ガイドが、三角形構造である、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 方法であって、
閉鎖系静脈ラインのカテーテルが患者の体内に位置決めされた後、流体移送デバイスのイントロデューサを前記閉鎖系静脈ラインのハブの近位ポートに結合することと、
前記イントロデューサを前記ハブの前記近位ポートに結合した結果として、前記ハブの前記近位ポート内に含まれるシールを閉鎖状態から開放状態に移行させることであって、前記シールが前記開放状態にあるときに、前記シールが前記ハブの中央管腔と流体連通する開口部を規定する、移行させることと、
前記流体移送デバイスのアクチュエータを、第1状態から第2状態に移行させることと、
前記流体移送デバイスのカテーテルを、前記カテーテルが前記イントロデューサ内に配置されている第1位置から、前記カテーテルの遠位端面が前記閉鎖系静脈ラインの前記カテーテルより遠位にあるような、前記カテーテルが前記シールを通って延びている第2位置に前進させることと、を含む、方法。 - 前記イントロデューサがロックを含み、前記イントロデューサを前記ハブの前記近位ポートに前記結合することが、前記ロックの吻が前記シールに少なくとも部分的に挿入されて、前記シールを前記閉鎖状態から前記開放状態へ移行させるように、前記ロックを前記近位ポートに結合することを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記イントロデューサがロックを含み、前記イントロデューサを前記ハブの前記近位ポートに前記結合することが、前記ロックの吻が前記シールを通って延びて、前記シールを前記閉鎖状態から前記開放状態に移行させるように、前記ロックを前記近位ポートに結合することを含み、前記吻の外面が前記シールの一部分によって係合されて、それにより、それらの間に流体密シールが集合的に形成される、請求項14に記載の方法。

- 前記流体移送デバイスの前記カテーテルによって規定された前記軸が、前記カテーテルを前記第1位置から前記第2位置に前進させる間、前記閉鎖系静脈ラインの軸と実質的に同軸である、請求項19に記載の方法。
