Abstract
Description
The present invention is an automatic operation forklift for automatically recognizing the position of a pallet or the like placed at a predetermined position and easily transporting the luggage or the like placed on the pallet in a vast facility such as a distribution warehouse. It is about.
Conventionally, in a vast facility such as a distribution warehouse, products etc. are stored in a predetermined place in a state of being loaded on a pallet, and for loading and unloading of products etc., a forklift is used with the products etc. loaded on the pallet. Move the palette. With the progress of automation of various operations in the logistics industry in recent years, it is expected that the cargo handling work by the forklift will also be automated, and various automatic operation forklifts have been proposed or developed.
In an autonomous forklift, it is important to automatically recognize the shape of the pallet and the opening into which the fork should be inserted. However, the pallet may be placed outdoors in strong sunlight or in a dark place deep in the warehouse, and the pallet itself is made of plastic material or wood, so that automatic recognition is not easy.
For example, automatic recognition of a palette using a three-dimensional image such as a TOF camera is not suitable for detecting a black object or a surface exposed to sunlight, and the detection accuracy of the palette is greatly reduced. Further, for example, the automatic recognition of the palette based on the image captured by the camera is easily affected by the texture of the object surface, ambient light, and the like, and the object cannot be recognized when the illumination is dark. Therefore, it is required to reliably recognize the pallet even in such an environment.
On the other hand, automatic pallet recognition using a two-dimensional rider is effective because it is not easily affected by the texture and ambient light described above, but it cannot acquire three-dimensional environmental information.
According to the fork lift having such a configuration, the height position of the laser sensor is adjusted by the ascending / descending motion of the fork, and the two-dimensional point cloud and the height position obtained by scanning the laser sensor are combined to acquire the three-dimensional point cloud. It is designed to recognize loads or pallets.
On the other hand, in
By the way, in the forklift according to
In view of the above points, the present invention provides an automatic operation forklift capable of accurately recognizing a front object with a simple configuration and recognizing a front object even when a load or a pallet is mounted on a fork. The purpose is to provide.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has a traveling unit that travels and steers the vehicle body and the vehicle body, a fork attached to the front portion of the vehicle body, a fork drive unit that raises and lowers the fork up and down, a position sensor, and a position. It is an automatic operation forklift equipped with a control unit that controls the travel unit and the fork drive unit based on the travel data while referring to the current position by the sensor, and further, an object detection unit including a sensor unit and a shape recognition unit. The sensor unit is attached to the vehicle body and consists of a sensor that acquires the front three-dimensional point cloud, and the shape recognition unit recognizes the shape and position of the object located in front of the three-dimensional point cloud acquired by the sensor unit. It consists of a composition.
Preferably, the sensor unit is composed of a two-dimensional rider and a moving means for moving the two-dimensional rider in a direction different from the horizontal scan, and the shape recognition unit acquires a height position corresponding to the movement amount of the moving means. The height position is added to the 2D point group acquired by the horizontal scan of the dimensional rider to calculate the 3D point group.
The moving means is equipped with a linear actuator that is attached to the vehicle body and translates the two-dimensional rider in the vertical direction and a height sensor that detects the height position of the two-dimensional rider, and the shape recognition unit is a two-dimensional point by the two-dimensional rider. The height position detected by the height sensor is added to the group to calculate the three-dimensional point group. The moving means preferably includes a swinging means for swinging in a direction different from the horizontal scan of the two-dimensional lidar and an angle detecting means for detecting the swinging angle of the swinging means, and the shape recognition unit is the angle detecting means. The height position of the detection target is calculated based on the swing angle detected by the two-dimensional lidar, and the height position of the detection target is added to the two-dimensional point group by the two-dimensional lidar to calculate the three-dimensional point group.
The sensor unit may be a three-dimensional rider arranged on the vehicle body, and the shape recognition unit may recognize the shape of an object located in front of the three-dimensional point cloud detected by the three-dimensional lidar. The shape recognition unit recognizes the shape and position of the pallet to be conveyed by the fork from the three-dimensional point cloud and the opening of the pallet into which the tip of the fork is to be inserted.
Based on the relative positional relationship between the recognized shape and position of the pallet and opening and the current position by the position sensor, the control unit creates running data up to the loading position where the fork directly faces the opening of the pallet. The traveling unit is controlled based on this traveling data. The horizontal scan of the sensor unit is arranged so as to incline downward toward the front and scan, and the shape recognition unit recognizes the shape and position of the floor surface in front and the markers installed on the floor surface from the three-dimensional point cloud. The configuration is preferable.
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an extremely excellent self-driving forklift capable of accurately recognizing a front object with a simple configuration and recognizing a front object even when a load or a pallet is mounted on a fork. Can be done.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on the embodiments shown in the drawings.
1 and 2 show the overall configuration of an embodiment of an autonomous forklift. The
The
The traveling
FIG. 3A shows a schematic perspective view of the
The
The
The
When the
By the way, corresponding to the relative positional relationship between the current position of the
Further, when the
Here, the cargo handling work is performed as follows. That is, in a state where the
As described above, the
The
Further, the
According to the
Since the
Further, since it is not necessary to raise or lower or swing the
Next, some configuration examples of the

In the configuration example 1, the two-
Therefore, as compared with the case of recognizing an object by a three-dimensional image such as a TOF camera, by using the two-
(Structure example 2 of the object detection unit)
In the configuration example 2 of the
The fixed
The two-
Specifically, for the two-
The
Although not shown in FIG. 1, the
As shown in FIG. 8, the
9 (A) to 9 (F) show an example of a two-
In this way, the
According to the above configuration, while scanning in the horizontal direction with the two-
Subsequently, the
In
In
In step 3, as shown in FIG. 11, the
In step 4, the
In step 5, clustering is performed for each point cloud in the set C of the point cloud on the condition of distance, and the area of each obtained cluster is compared with the area of the circumscribing rectangle of the cluster, as shown in FIG. The
In step 6, the
In step 7, the

Next, the operation of the
When the unloading position and the unloading position are input on the
When the
As a result, the
Next, in step ST9, the
In step ST12, the
Subsequently, the
In this way, the cargo handling work by the
The work of recognizing the shape and position of the
First, in step ST21, when the
After that, the
In step ST28, the
In this way, the work of recognizing the shape and position of the
According to the above configuration, the
The present invention can be implemented in various forms without departing from the spirit of the present invention. For example, the

According to this configuration, while scanning in the horizontal direction with the two-
