Claims (19)
- 心臓心房中隔の正確かつ安全な経中隔穿刺を容易にするのに適した経中隔挿入デバイスであって、
内部に少なくとも1つの管腔を画定し、前記経中隔挿入デバイスが使用されているとき、患者の前記心臓心房中隔に最も近くなる遠位端と、前記患者の外部にある近位端とを有するシースと、
前記シースの前記遠位端に接続されたバルーンであって、
前記バルーンは、前記経中隔挿入デバイスが使用されているときに膨張し、前記シースの前記遠位端を越えて張り出し及び延出し、前記心臓心房中隔の偶発的な穿刺を防止し、前記心臓心房中隔の卵円窩に対して前記経中隔挿入デバイスを安定させ、
前記バルーンは、超音波を放射及び受信し、前記超音波を電気信号に変換し、前記電気信号を、受信された信号から前記心臓心房中隔の画像を生成する外部イメージングデバイスに送信する1以上の超音波送受信機を含む前記バルーンと、
前記経中隔挿入デバイスの使用時に前記少なくとも1つの管腔内に配置される拡張器であって、遠位端を有し、前記心臓心房中隔を正確に穿刺するように設計され、前記心臓心房中隔を正確に穿刺することができる前記拡張器と、
を備えることを特徴とする経中隔挿入デバイス。 - 前記1以上の超音波送受信機は、前記バルーンの表面に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 前記1以上の超音波送受信機は、前記バルーンの内側に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 前記バルーンが完全に膨張し、前記シースの前記遠位端が前記心臓心房中隔に向けられると、前記1以上の超音波送受信機は、前記心臓心房中隔に向けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 前記バルーンが収縮すると、前記1以上の超音波送受信機は、前記シースに対して垂直に向けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 前記バルーンが完全に膨張し、前記シースの前記遠位端が前記心臓心房中隔に向けられると、前記1以上の超音波送受信機は、前記心臓心房中隔に向けられ、そして、前記シースに対して垂直に向けられるように、前記1以上の超音波送受信機は、十字状に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 前記1以上の超音波送受信機は、円盤状に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 前記1以上の超音波送受信機は、前記シース内の前記管腔を介して延びるワイヤを介して前記外部イメージングデバイスに接続されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 前記1以上の超音波送受信機は、WiFi又は他の無線接続を介して、前記外部イメージングデバイスに接続されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 心臓心房中隔の正確かつ安全な経中隔穿刺を容易にするのに適した経中隔挿入デバイスであって、
内部に少なくとも1つの管腔を画定し、前記経中隔挿入デバイスが使用されているとき、患者の心臓心房中隔に最も近くなる遠位端と、前記患者の外部にある近位端とを有するシースであって、超音波を放射及び受信し、前記超音波を電気信号に変換し、前記電気信号を、受信された信号から前記心臓心房中隔の画像を生成する外部イメージングデバイスに送信する1以上の超音波送受信機を含む前記シースと、
前記シースの前記遠位端に接続されたバルーンであって、前記経中隔挿入デバイスが使用されているときに膨張し、前記シースの前記遠位端を越えて張り出し及び延出し、前記心臓心房中隔の偶発的な穿刺を防止し、前記心臓心房中隔の卵円窩に対して前記経中隔挿入デバイスを安定させる前記バルーンと、
前記経中隔挿入デバイスの使用時に前記少なくとも1つの管腔内に配置される拡張器であって、遠位端を有し、前記心臓心房中隔を正確に穿刺するように設計され、前記心臓心房中隔を正確に穿刺することができる拡張器と、
を備えることを特徴とする経中隔挿入デバイス。 - 前記1以上の超音波送受信機は、前記シースの遠位端に向けられることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 前記1以上の超音波送受信機は、前記シースの近位端に向けられることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 心臓心房中隔の正確かつ安全な経中隔穿刺を容易にするのに適した経中隔挿入デバイスであって、
内部に少なくとも1つの管腔を画定し、前記経中隔挿入デバイスが使用されているとき、患者の心臓心房中隔に最も近くなる遠位端と、前記患者の外部にある近位端とを有するシースと、
前記シースの前記遠位端に接続されたバルーンであって、
前記バルーンは、前記経中隔挿入デバイスが使用されているときに膨張し、前記シースの前記遠位端を越えて張り出し及び延出し、前記心臓心房中隔の偶発的な穿刺を防止し、前記心臓心房中隔の卵円窩に対して前記経中隔挿入デバイスを安定させ、
前記バルーンが膨張したときに前記バルーンの異なる部分が別様に膨張するように、柔軟及び非柔軟材料で構成されている前記バルーンと、
前記経中隔挿入デバイスの使用時に前記少なくとも1つの管腔内に配置される拡張器であって、遠位端を有し、前記心臓心房中隔を正確に穿刺するように設計され、前記心臓心房中隔を正確に穿刺することができる前記拡張器と、
を備えることを特徴とする経中隔挿入デバイス。 - 超音波を放射及び受信し、前記超音波を電気信号に変換し、前記電気信号を、受信された信号から心臓心房中隔の画像を生成する外部イメージングデバイスに送信する1以上の超音波送受信機を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 前記1以上の超音波送受信機は、前記バルーン上に配置されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 前記1以上の超音波送受信器は、前記拡張器上に配置されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 心臓心房中隔の正確かつ安全な経中隔穿刺を容易にするのに適した経中隔挿入デバイスであって、
内部に少なくとも1つの管腔を画定し、前記経中隔挿入デバイスが使用されているとき、患者の心臓心房中隔に最も近くなる遠位端と、前記患者の外部にある近位端とを有するシースと、
前記シースの前記遠位端に接続されたバルーンであって、前記経中隔挿入デバイスが使用されているときに膨張し、前記シースの前記遠位端を越えて張り出し及び延出し、前記心臓心房中隔の偶発的な穿刺を防止し、前記心臓心房中隔の卵円窩に対して前記経中隔挿入デバイスを安定させる前記バルーンと、
前記経中隔挿入デバイスの使用時に前記少なくとも1つの管腔内に配置される拡張器であって、遠位端及び内部に画定された管腔を有する前記拡張器と、
前記拡張器の前記管腔内に配置される鈍端を有するニードルであって、前記ニードルを介して伝達されるエネルギの印加によって、前記心臓心房中隔を正確に穿刺するように設計され、前記心臓心房中隔を正確に穿刺することができ、可鍛性部分と剛性部分を含む前記ニードルと、
を備えることを特徴とする経中隔挿入デバイス。 - 前記ニードルの前記剛性部分は、前記ニードルの遠位端及び近位端を含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
- 前記ニードルによって印可されるエネルギは、高周波(RF)エネルギであることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の経中隔挿入デバイス。
