Description

The present invention relates to an air purification soil and an indoor greening and air purification apparatus using the air purification soil. In detail, synergistic effects are expressed by using activated carbon and specific plants in combination (zeolite if necessary), and the air purification effect (especially deodorizing / deodorizing effect against tobacco odor) is higher than when each is used alone. The present invention relates to a soil for air purification that can achieve the above and an indoor greening and air purification device that uses the soil for air purification.

Conventionally, various devices have been developed for purifying indoor air and purifying bad odors (so-called living odors) such as cigarette odor, pet odor, toilet odor, garbage odor, etc. (See Patent Documents 1 to 3).

However, all of these devices are designed so that the device main body does not protrude greatly from the wall surface by devising a mechanical structure such as a duct, a fan, and an outer peripheral wall (frame) (paragraph [0005] of Patent Document 1). The purpose is to improve the purification efficiency per unit area (paragraph [0005] of Patent Document 2), or to eliminate the need to secure an installation space for the blower outside (paragraph [0005] of Patent Document 3). It is not intended for the soil itself.

On the other hand, as the soil for the purpose of odor purification, there are deodorizing soils described in Patent Documents 4 and 5, for example. Patent Document 6 discloses a soil treatment agent for the purpose of preventing generation of dust and suppressing odor by using a specific plant essential oil and an aqueous resin.

特開2014−138577号公報JP 2014-138777 A 特開2014−64517号公報JP 2014-64517 A 特開2014−117253号公報JP 2014-117253 A 特許第3233001号公報Japanese Patent No. 3233001 特開2012−233122号公報JP 2012-233122 A 特開2013−66821号公報JP 2013-66821 A

However, the soils described in Patent Documents 4 and 5 are intended for the odors of ammonia and various sulfides from food residues and livestock wastes, and tobacco odors (particularly nicotine and nitrogen oxides). It is not intended for living odors such as nitrogen compounds, acetaldehyde, ammonia, acetic acid, etc.) and pet odors.

Moreover, although the earth and sand treatment agent of patent document 6 is intended for the odor generated by microbial decomposition, the water-based resin is an essential constituent requirement in order to prevent the generation of dust. . Therefore, when such a soil treatment agent is used for indoor air purification, there is a problem that the activity of microorganisms in the soil decreases due to the water-based resin becoming an obstacle.

As a result of intensive studies, the inventors of the present application have found that a combination of activated carbon and a specific plant (if necessary, zeolite) produces a synergistic effect rather than a simple additive effect, and a high air purification effect (especially tobacco) The present inventors have found that a deodorizing / deodorizing effect on odor can be expressed.

These plants contain various aromatic components such as cineol and antibacterial components, and these components function as the above-described deodorants (especially deodorants for living odors). Among them, it is preferable to use eucalyptus because it has a particularly high deodorizing effect on tobacco odor and also has a tick extermination effect.
In addition, it does not specifically limit as a site | part to be used, Various site | parts, such as a (raw) leaf, a branch, a root, can be employ | adopted, Moreover, it does not specifically limit about the form to use, As it is Various forms such as a state, a pulverized product, and an essential oil product can be adopted. Among them, it is preferable to use a pulverized product of fresh leaves or an essential oil extracted from fresh leaves because the above-described function can be further enhanced.

(Second purified soil)
Further, the plant component 4 used in the air purification soil 1 according to the present invention is mixed in the soil 2 or / and disposed between the soils 2 as shown in FIGS. Can also be used. Thus, if the plant component 4 is comprised as the 2nd purification | cleaning soil 7, since the purification effect can be made higher, it is suitable.
In addition, when using the activated carbon 3 (including zeolite 5 as necessary) as the first purified soil 6 and the plant component 4 as the second purified soil 7, the purification effect is more effectively exhibited. It is preferable to arrange so that air containing a purification target component such as odor passes through the layer of the first purified soil 6 after passing through the layer of the first purified soil 6.

(Mixing amount or arrangement amount)
The mixing amount or arrangement amount of the activated carbon 3 and the plant component 4 used for the air purification soil 1 according to the present invention with respect to the soil 2 is appropriately determined as necessary, but the purification effect can be enhanced. From 0.12 to 0.61 parts by weight of activated carbon and 1 part by weight of soil (with a specific gravity of 0.253, moisture content) with respect to 1 part by weight of soil (with a specific gravity of 0.253 and a moisture content of 48%) It is preferable to blend 0.01 to 1.07 parts by weight of one or more plants selected from eucalyptus, bay leaf, mugwort, basil, wormwood, rosemary and sage.
In addition, since the soil used has various moisture contents, if the moisture content is unknown, the soil is dried and the amount of each component (activated carbon, plant component) mixed with the dried soil or The amount of arrangement can also be determined. In this case, 0.23 to 1.08 parts by weight of activated carbon for 1 part by weight of soil (specific gravity of 0.253), eucalyptus, laurier for 1 part by weight of soil (specific gravity of 0.253), It is preferable to blend 0.02 to 2.05 parts by weight of one or more plants selected from mugwort, basil, sagebrush, rosemary and sage.
Moreover, about a plant component, it is preferable to mix or arrange | position as it is, without drying, from the point which can make a purification effect higher. Specifically, it is preferable to determine the mixing amount or the arrangement amount in a state where the moisture content is 50 to 80%.

(Zeolite)
Moreover, about the soil 1 for air purification which concerns on this invention, it is preferable to use the zeolite 5 with the activated carbon 3 from the point which can make a purification effect higher. Moreover, since the mixing amount or arrangement | positioning amount of activated carbon can be reduced, it is suitable. Further, since the increase in the pH of the soil can be suppressed, it is preferable because the growth of the plant is facilitated even when a general-purpose type activated carbon is used as the activated carbon.
In addition, although the mixing amount or arrangement amount of zeolite is appropriately determined as necessary, 1 part by weight of soil (specific gravity is 0.253, moisture content is 48% from the point that the purification effect can be increased). It is preferable to blend 0.11 to 0.94 parts by weight of zeolite with respect to the above. Similarly to the case of activated carbon and plant components, when the moisture content of the soil is unknown, the amount of zeolite mixed or arranged can be determined with respect to the dried soil by drying the soil. In such a case, it is preferable to blend 0.2 to 0.94 parts by weight of zeolite with respect to 1 part by weight of soil (specific gravity is 0.253).

(container)
The container 9 used for the indoor greening and air purifying apparatus 8 according to the present invention is for housing the air purifying soil 1 according to the present invention, and for taking in air containing a purification target component such as odor. It has a structure having an inlet 11 and an outlet 12 for discharging the air to the outside of the container 9 after passing the air through the air purification soil 1.
Moreover, when using the 1st purification | cleaning soil 6 and the 2nd purification | cleaning soil 7 for the air purification | cleaning soil 1, as shown to FIGS. 6 and the 2nd purification soil 7 are filled with the 1st purification soil 6 and the 2nd purification soil 7 so that it may pass in order.

(Ventilation means)
The ventilation means 10 used in the indoor greening and air purification device 8 according to the present invention passes air containing a purification target component such as odor to the air purification soil 1 filled in the container 9 and discharges it outside the container 9. Is to do.
In FIGS. 1 to 4, the ventilation means 10 is configured by a blower 14 having a built-in fan 13 and a duct 16 that connects the blower opening 15 of the blower 14 and the inlet 11 of the container 9. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and air blowing mechanisms having various structures can be employed. Further, not only a blower (fan) mechanism that feeds air containing the component to be purified into the container 9 as it is, but also a so-called pressure feed (blower) mechanism that feeds the compressed air as compressed air can be employed. In addition, as shown in FIG. 5, in order to efficiently or long-term contact the air containing the purification target component with the air purification soil 1, the air purification soil 1 (first purification soil 6 in FIG. 5) It can also be set as the structure (Indoor greening and air purification apparatus 8 (8e)) which provided the ventilation layer 17 between the containers 9. FIG.
Furthermore, as long as the ventilation means 10 used for this invention can pass the air containing a purification object component to the soil 1 for air purification, the air containing a purification object component as mentioned above of the container 9 is used. The structure is not limited to the structure of feeding into the inlet 11, and a suction device is provided in the container 9 or the outlet 12 of the container 9 to suck air containing the purification target component from the inlet 11 of the container 9. It is also possible to adopt a mechanism for passing the light through the screen.

Next, the operation and action of the air purification soil and the indoor greening / air purification apparatus configured as described above will be described.

(Operation and Action of the Air Purification Soil 1 and Indoor Greening / Air Purification Device 8 Shown in FIGS. 1 and 2)
First, air containing a purification target component such as odor is passed through the air purification soil 1 (1a) or the air purification soil 1 (1b). Then, the air containing the purification target component is not only adsorbed by the pores in the activated carbon 3 but also deodorized by the plant component 4, and the air after passing through the air purification soil 1 (for air purification) The air discharged from the soil 1) will be purified. Here, since the soil 1 for air purification which concerns on this invention contains not only the activated carbon 3 but the specific plant component 4, it can perform effective purification | cleaning with respect to a living odor (especially tobacco odor). It will be possible.

(Operation and Action of the Air Purification Soil 1 and Indoor Greening / Air Purification Device 8 Shown in FIGS. 3 and 4)
First, air containing a purification target component such as odor is passed through the air purification soil 1 (1c) or the air purification soil 1 (1d). Then, the air containing the purification target component first passes through the first purification soil 6, and the purification target component is roughly adsorbed by the activated carbon 3 (including the zeolite 5 as necessary) in the first purification soil 6. It will be. Next, the air from which the purification target component has been roughly removed passes through the second purified soil 7 and is deodorized by the plant component 4 in the second purified soil 7.
Therefore, the air purification soil 1 and the indoor greening and air purification device 8 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 can efficiently exhibit the purification effect of the plant component 4 and dramatically improve the air purification effect. Will be able to.

(Operation and action of the indoor greening and air purification device 8 shown in FIG. 5)
Air containing a purification target component such as odor is fed into the container 9. Then, the air containing the purification target component first stays in the ventilation layer 17. Thereafter, the air containing the purification target component is further fed into the container 9 so that the air containing the purification target component gradually comes into contact with the air purification soil 1 and further passes through the air purification soil 1. Become.
Therefore, the indoor greening and air purification apparatus 8 shown in FIG. 5 discharges the air containing the component to be purified out of the soil for air purification without coming into contact with the activated carbon 3 (including the zeolite 5 if necessary) or the plant component 4. It can be prevented from being discharged out of the soil for air purification by insufficient contact. As a result, more efficient purification of the component to be purified can be realized.

Next, the air purification soil according to the present invention will be described in detail based on examples and comparative examples. In addition, this invention is not limited to a following example.

Example 1

(Comparative Example 1)
The greening soil itself was designated as Comparative Example 1.

(Comparative Example 2)
A soil for air purification of Comparative Example 2 was prepared in the same manner as Example 2 except that the plant component was removed.

(Comparative Example 3)
An air purification soil of Comparative Example 3 was produced in the same manner as in Example 2 except that the activated carbon and zeolite were omitted.

Next, the purification performance of the air purification soils of Examples and Comparative Examples was evaluated.

(Evaluation Test 1)
First, 3 g of air purification soil of Example 2 and Comparative Example 1 was placed in a 3 L Tedlar bag. Next, 5 ppm of nitrogen dioxide, which is a component of exhaust gas, was sealed in the Tedlar bag. And the purification performance (purification performance by contact with soil) was evaluated by measuring the concentration of nitrogen dioxide over time using a detector tube.
Moreover, the enclosed gas was changed to the acetaldehyde (encapsulation concentration 65 ppm) which is a component of tobacco odor, and the same evaluation was performed. The results are shown in FIGS.

(Evaluation test 2)
First, a 3 L Tedlar bag filled with tobacco smoke, a column (length: 150 mm, diameter: 16 mm) filled with air purification soil of Examples and Comparative Examples, and an empty Tedlar bag were prepared. Next, one of the column and the Tedlar bag enclosing tobacco smoke was connected by a silicone tube with a cock, and the other column and the empty Tedlar bag were connected by a silicon tube. Next, after opening the cock, the tobacco smoke was passed through a column (air purification soil) by crushing the tedlar bag containing tobacco smoke, and the air after passing was collected in an empty tedlar bag.
And about the collect | recovered air, purification performance (purification performance by allowing soil to pass through) was evaluated by performing odor evaluation by sensory evaluation. Specifically, it was evaluated in 6 stages from 0 to 5 in accordance with the Odor Index Index Guidelines (issued by the Ministry of the Environment). The results are shown in Table 1.
Moreover, about the air after passing through the air purification soil of Example 2 and Comparative Example 1, the concentration of odor components (ammonia, acetaldehyde, acetic acid) was measured using a detector tube. The results are shown in FIG.

As a result, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the air purification soil (Example 2) according to the present invention has higher purification performance of nitrogen dioxide and acetaldehyde than the soil of Comparative Example 1 and is simply in contact with the soil. It was also confirmed that a high purification effect was exhibited.

Next, as shown in Table 1, it was confirmed that the soil for air purification according to the present invention can purify the purification target component (especially tobacco odor) almost completely by passing air containing the purification target component such as odor. .

Moreover, as shown in FIG. 8, it was confirmed that purification was also possible in the concentration evaluation of the odor component contained in the tobacco. Here, it is known that the tobacco odor is an odor that is more difficult to remove than the odor component concentration is reduced. Therefore, it has confirmed that the soil for air purification | cleaning which concerns on this invention which can remove odor itself can turn into a useful soil which purifies the life odor represented by the tobacco odor.

The soil for air purification of the present invention can be used for purification of so-called daily odors such as tobacco odor, pet odor, toilet odor, and garbage odor.
