Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a packaging structure for a thin display device and a packaging method for the thin display device.
As an example of a packing structure used when a thin display panel such as a liquid crystal panel or an organic EL panel or a thin display device using the thin display panel is transported as an object to be packed, a well-known example of supporting four corners of the object to be packed with a cushioning material. And a package structure for a thin display device disclosed in
In
By the way, since a thin display panel or a thin display device using a thin display panel can be installed in various forms such as wall hanging and hanging, it is expected to be lighter and thinner with a larger screen. It has been demanded.
To reduce weight, for example, the display panel frame that is the structural frame of the thin display panel or the housing that houses the thin display panel can be changed from a conventional iron-based metal to a light metal such as aluminum. It is done.
Due to this material change and the like, the mass of about 10 kg as a display device has been reduced to about 6 kg.
On the other hand, the rigidity of the display panel itself or the display device itself tends to decrease compared with the same screen size.
In the case of a liquid crystal display panel using liquid crystal, it is possible to reduce the thickness by reducing the thickness of each member itself such as a cell panel, an optical sheet, a diffusion plate and reducing the distance between the members. Is planned.
By this correspondence, the thickness of the thinnest part, which has been 30 mm or more in the past as a display device, can be reduced to 10 mm or less.
By the way, among the problems that occur when packing and transporting a thin display panel and a thin display device using the thin display panel that have been reduced in weight and thickness in this way, there have been problems that could not occur before.
Specifically, as the first, the cell panel and the optical sheet adjacent to the back surface (rear surface) of the cell panel rub against each other due to vibrations applied from the outside, or the cell panel back surface may be scratched. It is a bug.
This is due to the fact that the cell panel itself becomes thinner and the central portion vibrates more and more back and forth, and that the distance between the cell panel and the adjacent optical sheet is narrowed to reduce the thickness.
Secondly, the packaging box has also been made thinner and easier to tip than the previous box, and if the packaging box falls down, the center of the packed cell panel or the top frame of the display device is in the tipping direction. This is a problem that it may be bent and deformed to be convex.
FIGS. 13A and 13B are diagrams for explaining this bending deformation.
The article to be packed 101 is, for example, a thin display panel, and
Here, FIG. 13A shows a state in which the
As shown in FIG. 13 (b), when the
This is because, as described above, due to the increase in size and thickness, the rigidity of the casing of the thin display device is reduced, and the four corners of the casing are supported by the cushioning material, but are between the cushioning materials. Because the central part of the side is in a free state, the frame on the top side of the housing cannot withstand the impact when the side of the packaging box collides with the floor surface due to a fall. .
With respect to these defects, according to the packaging structure described in
However, the central portion of the thin display panel or the top frame of the thin display device is not supported by the cushioning material and is in a free state, so that a sufficient suppression effect for the second problem cannot be obtained. Inferred.
In addition, the packaging structure described in
That is, if the packaged item is a thin display panel or display device and the thickness is extremely thin such as 10 mm or less as described above, it is weakly wound when it is wound around the packaged item and connected at both ends in a ring shape. On the contrary, there is an improvement in that if the sponge material is wound too strongly, there is a concern about the adverse effect on the thin display panel side where the rigidity is lowered due to the sponge material being too strongly hit the display surface.
Moreover, it is necessary to perform beforehand the operation | work which winds a buffer plate with respect to a to-be-packaged object, and the operation | work which connects the edge parts and makes it ring shape, and there exists an improvement point that many man-hours start.
Also, if you accidentally put the packing material in the packing box without wrapping the buffer plate, you must take out the packing material from the packing box, wrap the buffer plate, and store it again in the packing box. There is an improvement in that it is difficult to increase the efficiency of the packing work because two storage steps are required.
Therefore, the problem to be solved by the present invention is that a thin display that can prevent a thin display panel and a thin display device packed in the packing box from being deformed even if the packing box falls over, and can be easily packed. An object of the present invention is to provide a packing structure for a device and a packing method for a thin display device.

8 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line S2B-S2B in FIG.
FIG. 9 is a partially enlarged view of the top side in FIG.
FIG. 10 is an enlarged view of the DT area in FIG.
FIG. 11 is a schematic diagram for explaining the dimensional relationship of each member.
As shown in FIG. 7, the
Thereby, inside the packing box 8, the
As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the
The inner surface 7a1 that is the inner surface on the front side of the slit 7a and the inner surface 7a2 that is the rear inner surface facing the inner surface 7a1 are inclined surfaces in the direction in which the distance between the slits 7a increases toward the opening side (downward in FIG. 8). It is said that.
A plurality of ribs 7a3 are formed on the rear inner surface 7a2 so as to be spaced apart from each other in the left-right direction, with the front end surface being substantially vertical in the vertical direction (see also FIG. 7).
The width T5 on the back side of the slit 7a is a width obtained by adding twice the thickness of the reinforcing
In other words, the
Further, the width in the front-rear direction of the outer shape of the
That is, the
In the
The inclination angle θ7 is determined by the vertical distance Dm2 (see FIG. 6) between the
In FIG. 10, the
The
Therefore, when the thickness of the
tan θ7 = (T4−Δd) / Dm2 (Expression 1)
Each dimension is set in relation to
Specifically, T4 = 10 mm, Δd = 1.5 mm, and Dm2 = 120 mm.
Accordingly, the outer surface 5fr (see FIG. 6) facing the
The rib 7a3 is provided to bring the
The ribs 7a3 have a predetermined width and height and are spaced apart in the left-right direction. Thereby, when an impact is applied from the outside toward the rear from the front in the packed state, or when the packing box falls backward, the kinetic energy associated with the movement of the
According to the packing method and the packing structure of the above-described embodiment, the
Therefore, even when the packaging box falls to the front side or the rear side, the top side of the packaged item is supported, so that the top side of the packaged item is prevented from being deformed.
Further, in the packed state, the
Further, if the
When the reinforcing
This prevents damage to the cell panel 1s itself, avoids contact (rubbing and striking) with an optical panel (not shown) arranged immediately after the cell panel 1s, and prevents damage to the rear surface of the cell panel 1s. Is done.
Further, in the packing operation, the reinforcing
In addition, when the reinforcing
The embodiment of the present invention is not limited to the configuration and procedure described above, and it goes without saying that modifications may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
The material of the reinforcing
As described above, the object to be packed is not limited to the
Further, the object to be packed is not limited to a display device or a display panel, but can be applied to the packaging of thin plate materials such as glass and resin.
The position, area, and shape of the
