Description

The present invention relates to an optical cable guide structure.

In recent years, communication equipment terminal devices have been miniaturized, but optical cables need to ensure a radius of curvature of 30 mm or more in order to guarantee the characteristics (maintain the transmission of optical signals when bent).

Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 63-8705 JP 2007-58246 A

However, the following problems have been pointed out for the conventional optical cable guide structure using the cable clamp and the relay connection adapter fixing structure using the metal fittings.

[1] The size of the cable clamp is large, which hinders further miniaturization of the terminal device.

[2] Since the conventional cable clamp is fixed at one point, it is difficult to hold the optical cable by rotating the cable clamp when holding the optical cable.

[3] Since the cable clamp holds the optical cable with dots, multiple cable clamps are required to keep the optical cable route constant.

As a result, a plurality of mounting holes are provided in the printed circuit board along the predetermined cable route, and the cable clamp is inserted into these holes, or the cable clamp is attached to the printed circuit board with double-sided tape, and the optical cable is inserted into the cable clamp. Therefore, it takes time for the work, and skill is required for the assembly work.

[4] If a metal fitting is used to fix the adapter for relay connection to the printed circuit board, electrical wiring cannot be made to the mounting portion of the metal fitting, so that there is an inconvenience that an insulation treatment must be applied to the fitting portion of the metal fitting.

The present invention has been devised in view of such circumstances, and eliminates the need for optical cable route correction by a conventional cable clamp, and at the same time, eliminates the need for a conventional metal fitting when installing a relay connection adapter, thereby improving workability. It is an object of the present invention to provide an optical cable guide structure that enables downsizing of a communication device terminal device.

In order to achieve such an object, a guide structure for an optical cable according to claim 1 includes a cable guide member of a resin molded product formed in an L shape in plan view, a printed circuit board and a housing on which the cable guide member can be locked. An inner peripheral wall formed of a curvature that maintains the radius of curvature of the optical cable that is erected on the inner peripheral edge of the corner that bends in an L-shape And an adapter mounting portion formed on one end side of the cable guide member with the corner portion interposed therebetween, and an outer side that is erected on the outer peripheral edge portion on the other end side of the cable guide member with the corner portion sandwiched therebetween. An optical cable that protrudes inwardly at the tip of the outer peripheral wall, a protrusion for preventing the optical cable from protruding upward, and a protrusion for preventing the optical cable from protruding upward, respectively. The le A straightening guide rib for inwardly correcting the groove and a locking means detachably engageable with the mounted part, the mounted part including a locked means corresponding to the locking means, and the mounted An optical cable is mounted along the inner peripheral wall of the cable guide member locked to a component, and a connector attached to the optical cable is connected to a relay connection adapter attached to the adapter mounting portion.

And the invention which concerns on Claim 2 is a guide structure of the optical cable of Claim 1, The said latching means bend | folds in cross-section L shape to the back surface side of the said adapter attachment part side edge part, A locking piece that protrudes from the distal end of the cable guide member along the outer peripheral wall, and a locking claw that protrudes from the distal end side of the cable guide member along the outer peripheral wall. The two small protrusions formed and two small protrusions for preventing rotation that protrude from the back side of the cable guide member near the adapter mounting portion. Each small protrusion is a locking hole for locking.

Furthermore, the invention according to claim 3 is the optical cable guide structure according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the adapter mounting portion includes a support wall erected on the cable guide member, and an adapter for relay connection. And an engagement hole for engaging a lock claw provided on the relay connection adapter side is provided at the left and right peripheral edge portions of the insertion hole. According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the optical cable guide structure according to any one of the first to third aspects, a crown that is crowned upward on the upper portion of the support wall. A protruding piece that is locked to the concave portion of the wearing member is projected.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, an optical cable can be mounted using a single cable guide member that can be easily attached to a mounted part such as a printed circuit board or a housing. Since the radius of curvature of the optical cable is maintained by the peripheral wall, the mounting work of the optical cable is less time-consuming and the skill of the operator is not required compared to the conventional case where the optical cable is mounted using a plurality of cable clamps. .

And since the optical cable 7 can be mounted by one cable guide member compared with the conventional structure which used multiple cable clamps with a large external shape, the terminal device can be further miniaturized.

In addition, since the correction guide rib provided on the cable guide member corrects the route of the optical cable inward, the optical cable guided to the cable guide member from the outer peripheral wall side does not bulge outward, and the housing or the like The optical cable is not pinched between. Further, the optical cable does not jump out from above the cable guide member due to the protrusion for preventing the protrusion.

Furthermore, according to the first aspect of the present invention, since the adapter can be attached to the cable guide member, the conventional metal fitting is not required for attaching the adapter to the printed circuit board, and the number of parts can be reduced.

In addition, conventionally, when a metal fitting is used to fix the adapter, electrical wiring cannot be performed on the mounting portion of the metal fitting. Therefore, there has been an inconvenience that the mounting portion of the metal fitting must be insulated. The conventional insulation process is not necessary, and the cable guide member is a resin molded product, and therefore has the advantage of not affecting the wiring of the printed circuit board.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the cable guide member can be easily attached to the mounted component such as a printed circuit board or a housing. According to the third aspect of the invention, the adapter to the cable guide member is provided. It has the advantage that it can be easily installed.

According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the protrusion provided on the support wall of the adapter mounting portion is engaged with the concave portion of the crowning member that is crowned upward, and the adapter mounting portion is pressed and held from above. Therefore, when an external optical cable is connected to the adapter, the adapter and the adapter mounting portion do not rattle even if force is applied to the adapter.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

First, as shown in FIG. 4, the small protrusion 43 of the cable guide member 5 is inserted into the locking hole 47 of the printed circuit board 3. Next, the cable guide member 5 is slid in the direction of the arrow as shown in FIG. 5, and the locking claw 41 at the tip of the small protrusion 43 is locked to the peripheral edge of the locking hole 47 as shown in FIG.

Then, when the locking piece 25 is pressed downward in this state (the state of FIGS. 6 and 7), the locking claw 27 is locked to the peripheral edge 29 on the back surface of the printed circuit board 3 as shown in FIG. The adapter mounting portion 15 side of the cable guide member 5 is held by the printed circuit board 3, and the small protrusion 45 is locked in the locking hole 49 so that the cable guide member 5 is positioned and fixed to the printed circuit board 3.

In this way, the small protrusion 43 is inserted into the locking hole 47, the cable guide member 5 is slid, and the locking claw 27 is locked to the peripheral edge 29 on the back surface side of the printed circuit board 3. The cable guide member 5 is mounted on the printed circuit board 3.

After that, as shown in FIG. 9, if the adapter 9 is inserted into the insertion hole 19 from the front surface of the adapter mounting portion 15 and the lock claw 23 is press-fitted into the insertion hole 19, the lock claw 19 and the flange portion 21 as described above. Thus, the support wall 17 is sandwiched from the front and rear, and the adapter 9 is attached to the adapter mounting portion 15.

Then, as shown in FIG. 10, the optical module 1 is mounted on the printed circuit board 3, and the optical cable 7 is guided from the correction guide rib 39 side to the cable guide member 5, and below the protrusions 35 and 37 for preventing the protrusion. The connector 51 connected to the optical cable 7 is inserted into the adapter 9 as shown in FIG. 11, and the mounting of the optical cable 7 is completed.

Thus, when the optical cable 7 is mounted using the cable guide member 5 in this way, as shown in FIG. 11, the inner peripheral wall 13 maintains the curvature radius of the optical cable 7 to guarantee the characteristics of the optical cable 7, The protrusions 35 and 37 for preventing protrusion prevent the optical cable 7 from protruding from above the cable guide member 5.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 11, the optical cable 7 guided into the cable guide member 5 from the outer peripheral wall 33 side and abutting against the inner peripheral wall 13 is in contact with the outer peripheral wall 33 while drawing an arc. When 59 is not provided, the optical cable 7 guided by the cable guide member 5 from the outer peripheral wall 33 side bulges to the printed circuit board 3 side, and the optical cable 7 is sandwiched between the casing on which the printed circuit board 3 is mounted. There is a fear.

Therefore, as described above, in the present embodiment, the correction guide rib 39 is protruded inward at the tip of the outer peripheral wall 33, and the route of the optical cable 7 is corrected inward by the correction guide rib 39, so that the outer peripheral wall is corrected. The optical cable 7 guided by the cable guide member 5 from the 33 side is prevented from bulging out to the side of the printed circuit board 3, thereby preventing the optical cable 7 from being sandwiched between the housing and the housing.

Further, the projecting piece 31 provided on the support wall 17 of the adapter mounting portion 15 engages with a concave portion of a housing (not shown) that is attached to the printed circuit board 3 so that the adapter mounting portion 15 is pressed and held from above. Therefore, when an external optical cable is connected to the adapter 9, the adapter 9 and the adapter mounting portion 15 do not rattle even if a force is applied to the adapter 9.

Thus, according to this embodiment,
(1) The optical cable 7 can be mounted by using one cable guide member 5 that can be easily attached to the printed circuit board 3, and the radius of curvature of the optical cable 7 is maintained by the inner peripheral wall 13 of the cable guide member 5. Therefore, compared with the conventional case where an optical cable is mounted using a plurality of cable clamps, the mounting work of the optical cable 7 is not time-consuming and the operator is not required to be skilled.

(2) Since the optical cable 7 can be mounted with one cable guide member 5 as compared with the conventional structure using a plurality of cable clamps having a large outer shape, the terminal device can be further miniaturized.

(3) Since the correction guide rib 39 provided on the cable guide member 5 corrects the route of the optical cable 7 inward, the optical cable 7 guided by the cable guide member 5 from the outer peripheral wall 33 side swells toward the printed circuit board 3 side. The optical cable 7 is not sandwiched between the housing and the housing.

Further, the optical cable 7 does not protrude from above the cable guide member 5 by the protrusions 35 and 37 for preventing protrusion.

(4) Since the projecting piece 31 provided on the support wall 17 of the adapter mounting portion 15 engages with the concave portion of the casing that is attached to the printed circuit board 3, the adapter mounting portion 15 is pressed and held from above. When an external optical cable is connected to the adapter 9, the adapter 9 and the adapter mounting portion 15 do not rattle even if a force is applied to the adapter 9.

(5) Since the adapter 9 can be attached to the cable guide member 5, when the adapter 9 is attached to the printed circuit board 3, a conventional metal fitting is not required, and the number of parts can be reduced.

However, conventionally, when a metal fitting is used to fix the adapter, electrical wiring cannot be performed on the mounting portion of the metal fitting, so that there has been an inconvenience that the mounting portion of the metal fitting must be insulated. By using 5, the insulation treatment is not necessary, and the cable guide member 5 is a resin molded product, and therefore has an advantage that the wiring of the printed circuit board 3 is not affected.

In the above-described embodiment, the structure in which the cable guide member 5 is mounted on the printed circuit board 3 has been described. However, it is needless to say that the embodiment can be applied to the case where the cable guide member 5 is attached to the housing.
