Description

The present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner, and more particularly to a blade attached to a lower stage of the vacuum cleaner.

On the bottom surface of the vacuum cleaner, a suction part that sucks dust and dirt, and a protruding blade for collecting dust and the like adjacent to the suction part to improve cleaning efficiency are attached.

FIG. 1 is a drawing showing a bottom surface of a vacuum cleaner, particularly a robot cleaner.
As shown in the figure, the robot cleaner includes a vacuum cleaner body 1 having a suction port, a fan motor, and a filter inside so that dust and dirt on the floor can be sucked and removed, and below the vacuum cleaner body 1. Drive wheel 2 provided on the side and driven so that the cleaner can run, suction port 3 provided around the drive wheel 2 for sucking in dust and dirt on the floor, and rotatable inside the suction port 3 An agitator 4 that is provided and easily sweeps dust and dirt adhering to the floor, and a blade 5 that collects dirt in the direction of the suction port adjacent to the suction port.

Such a robot cleaner detects a cleaning area and an obstacle using a sensor 6 provided in the cleaner under the control of the control unit, and the agitator 4 removes dust and dirt on the cleaning surface while traveling in the cleaning area. It will be sucked into the suction port while rotating. The dust that could not be removed at this time is caught by the blade 4 and collected in the direction of the suction port and is secondarily sucked.

Korean Published Patent No. 10-2005-68138 Japanese Published Patent No. 07-178018

The present invention has been submitted to solve the above-mentioned problems. The object of the present invention is to improve the cleaning efficiency by projecting a blade toward the cleaning surface when cleaning the cleaning surface with a small frictional force. When cleaning a cleaning surface with a high frictional force, the blade is rotated in the body direction to reduce the load on the cleaner.

A vacuum cleaner according to the present invention for solving the above-described problems includes a body of the vacuum cleaner, a blade attached to the lower stage of the body adjacent to the suction port, and a rotating unit for rotating the blade. .

At this time, when the frictional force of the cleaning surface is smaller than the first frictional force between the blade and the carpet, the rotating unit rotates the blade toward the cleaning surface, and the frictional force of the cleaning surface becomes the first frictional force. If larger, it is preferable to rotate the blade in the body direction.

Here, the first friction force can be determined as an average friction force of the lower 20% of the friction force values between the plurality of carpets and the blade.

In addition, the body includes an accommodation space into which the blade is inserted. A strip that restricts rotation of the blade may be formed in the housing space.

The rotating unit includes a rotating shaft formed at one end of the blade, a coupling hole of the body into which the rotating shaft of the blade is inserted, an elastic member having one end coupled to the rotating shaft and the other coupled to the body. Can be provided.

The elastic force of the elastic member is preferably equal to or less than the first frictional force between the blade and the carpet and equal to or greater than the second frictional force between the blade and the floor surface.

Here, the second friction force can be determined as the average friction force of the upper 20% of the friction force values between the plurality of floor surfaces and the blade.

Most preferably, the elastic force of the elastic member is a first frictional force between the blade and the carpet.

The elastic member is preferably a spiral spring.
A groove into which one end of the spiral spring is inserted may be formed in the blade.

Alternatively, the rotating unit has a rotating shaft rotatably coupled to the body, a frame having one end fixed to the rotating shaft and a blade attached thereto, one end coupled to the frame and the other end coupled to the body. And a member.
At this time, the elastic member is preferably a spring.

An object of the present invention includes a body of a vacuum cleaner, and a blade that is attached to a lower stage of the body adjacent to a suction port, and an angle with respect to the cleaning surface is adjusted according to the magnitude of the frictional force of the cleaning surface. It can also be achieved by a vacuum cleaner.

At this time, when the frictional force of the cleaning surface is smaller than the first frictional force between the blade and the carpet, the blade is rotated in a direction perpendicular to the cleaning surface, and the frictional force of the cleaning surface is changed to the first frictional force. If larger, it is preferably rotated in the body direction.

The body can be provided with a receiving space into which the blade is inserted.
Moreover, it is preferable that the accommodation space is formed with a strip that restricts rotation of the blade.

According to the configuration of the vacuum cleaner according to the present invention described above, when cleaning a cleaning surface with a small frictional force, the blade rotates toward the cleaning surface and removes dirt on the cleaning surface, thereby increasing the cleaning efficiency. When cleaning a cleaning surface having a large frictional force, the blade is rotated toward the body side to reduce the frictional force, thereby reducing the load on the cleaner.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 2A is a perspective view showing a blade portion of the vacuum cleaner according to the present invention, and FIG. 2B is an enlarged perspective view of only the blade. As shown in FIGS. 2A and 2B, the vacuum cleaner according to the present invention is attached to the lower stage of the body 21 of the vacuum cleaner and is adjacent to a suction port 22 for sucking in dirt on the cleaning surface. And a housing unit 25 formed in the body so that the blade is inserted.

The rotating unit 24 includes a rotating shaft 23 a formed at both ends of the blade 23, a coupling hole 21 a of the body into which the rotating shaft 23 a of the rotating unit is inserted, one end coupled to the blade 23, and the other end coupled to the body 21. A spiral spring 26 which is an elastic member is provided. One end of the spiral spring 26 is coupled to the body and the other end is inserted into a groove 23 b formed in the blade 23, thereby applying a rotational force to the blade 23. Further, a strip 25a (see FIG. 3A) for limiting the rotation of the blade 23 is formed in the accommodation space 25 into which the blade 23 is inserted.

The elastic force of the spiral spring 26 is set to be smaller than the first frictional force between the blade 23 and the carpet and larger than the second frictional force between the blade and the floor surface. Accordingly, the rotating unit 24 rotates the blade 23 toward the cleaning surface when the frictional force on the cleaning surface is smaller than the first frictional force, and the blade 23 when the frictional force on the cleaning surface is larger than the first frictional force. Is rotated in the direction of the body 21.

FIG. 3A is a diagram showing the operation of the blade 23 when the frictional force of the cleaning surface 31 is smaller than the first frictional force, for example, in the case of a smooth floor surface. When the frictional force of the cleaning surface 31 is small, the blade 23 rotates in the direction of the cleaning surface 31 by the rotational force of the spiral spring 26. At this time, the blade 23 is kept perpendicular to the cleaning surface 31 by the strip 25a. Thereby, the blade 23 collects dust and dirt on the cleaning surface.

FIG. 3B shows the operation of the blade 23 of the cleaner when the frictional force of the cleaning surface is larger than the first frictional force, for example, in the case of the carpet 32. In this case, the frictional force between the blade 23 and the carpet 32 is increased by the rotational force of the spiral spring 26, and the blade 23 rotates in the direction of the body 21 and is inserted into the accommodation space 25. Thereby, the blade 23 contacts with the cleaning surface 32 at an angle, and it becomes possible to reduce the load which a cleaner receives.

FIG. 4A is a cross-sectional view of a blade portion of a vacuum cleaner according to another embodiment of the present invention.

As shown in the figure, the vacuum cleaner according to the present invention is attached to a body 111 of the vacuum cleaner, formed below the body 111 and adjacent to a suction port (not shown) for sucking dirt on the cleaning surface. And a rotation unit 113 for rotating the blade 112 around a rotation shaft attached to the body 111. A housing space 114 is formed in the body 111 for housing the rotating unit 113. The accommodation space 114 is provided with a strip 114a for restricting the movement of the rotary unit 113.

The rotating unit 113 includes a rotating shaft 117 rotatably connected to the body 111, a rotating frame 115 having one end fixed to the rotating shaft 117 and attached with a blade 112, one end connected to the rotating frame 115, and the other end connected to the body. A spring 116 which is an elastic member coupled to the bottom surface of the accommodating space 114 of 111 is provided. The rotating frame 115 is formed with a groove 115a in which the blade 112 is vertically attached.

FIG. 4A is a diagram illustrating the operation of the blade 112 when the frictional force of the cleaning surface 118 is smaller than the first frictional force, for example, in the case of a smooth floor surface. When the frictional force of the cleaning surface 118 is small, the rotating frame 115 rotates in the direction of the cleaning surface 118 by the tensile force of the spring 116. At this time, the rotating frame 115 is kept horizontal with respect to the cleaning surface 118 by the strip 114a. As a result, the blade 112 attached to the rotating frame 115 is kept perpendicular to the cleaning surface and collects dust and dirt on the cleaning surface.

FIG. 4B is a diagram illustrating the operation of the blade 112 of the cleaner when the frictional force of the cleaning surface is greater than the first frictional force, for example, in the case of the carpet 121. In this case, the frictional force between the blade 112 and the carpet 121 is increased by the rotational force of the rotating frame 115, and the spring 116 is compressed, whereby the rotating frame 115 rotates in the direction of the body 111 and is inserted into the accommodation space 114. The As a result, the blade 112 attached to the rotating frame 115 makes contact with the cleaning surface 121 at an angle, and the load on the cleaner can be reduced.

The magnitude of the first frictional force by which the blade is rotated is determined by measuring the frictional force between a plurality of commercially available carpets and the blade used in the embodiment. That is, the frictional force between the plurality of carpets and the blade is measured, and among them, for example, the lower 20% average frictional force can be determined as the first frictional force. If the first frictional force is determined in such a manner, the blade can be rotated on most commercially available carpets.

In addition, the magnitude of the second frictional force can be determined by measuring the frictional force between a plurality of commercially available floor surfaces and the blade, and, for example, the average frictional force of the top 20% can be determined as the second frictional force. it can. If the second frictional force is determined in such a manner, the blade can be kept in a vertical position on a commercially available floor surface.

If the first friction force and the second friction force are determined, the elastic force of the spring is set so as to be equal to or greater than the first friction force and equal to or less than the second friction force. Most preferably, the elasticity of the spring is balanced with the first frictional force.

As mentioned above, although embodiment which applied this invention to the robot cleaner was described, it is not restricted to a robot cleaner, It can apply to a general cleaner with the same structure.

The present invention can be applied to a vacuum cleaner.
