Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a mobile phone, and in particular, when a mobile phone needs to be turned off in a place where reception of a mobile phone is prohibited, such as a hospital, the user can set an appropriate answering machine announcement. Is.
A mobile phone can respond to a call from a caller without being limited by location or time because of its portability. However, it may not be desirable to have a conversation because of time or place. For example, you must refrain from using the phone in situations that cause trouble for others, such as concert venues and important meetings. Conventionally, there are a method of forcibly avoiding an incoming call by shutting off the power of the mobile phone at a place or time when an incoming call is not preferable, or a method of providing a silent incoming call display (silent call) function such as a vibrator on the mobile phone. However, with these configurations, the user of the incoming mobile phone may not be able to respond to incoming calls for a long time, the caller cannot grasp the situation, and repeats outgoing calls continuously, causing unnecessary outgoing calls It becomes.
In addition, in Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 11-122675, multiple voice response messages such as “I am on the train right now, just answer yes or no”, “I will call you later”, etc. Recording means capable of recording, a key operation section for selecting a voice response message recorded in the recording means during a call, and a voice operation message selected by the key operation section. And a voice response message recording / playback apparatus having a transmission means that transmits a reproduced voice response message immediately after the operation of the key operation unit to enable a response during a call, Describes a configuration that makes it possible to respond silently to the caller by appropriately selecting and playing back the message recorded in the voice response message recording / playback device. .
The configuration disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 06-030105 functions only when the response hold mode is set. In addition, this configuration allows the user to arbitrarily store the response message in the storage medium, but to change the response message according to the situation such as during a meeting or riding on a train, change the voice message each time Therefore, it is difficult to respond flexibly. In the configuration disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-122675, a voice response message recording / playback device is connected to a voice input terminal of a mobile phone, and an incoming call response is performed by voice reproduced from the playback device. Therefore, when there is an incoming call, the responder operates the off-hook key of the mobile phone to enter a call state, and then makes a call by selecting and playing a desired response message from the voice response message recording / playback device, Finally, the call state must be terminated by operating the on-hook key.
In addition, there is a configuration in which an answering machine (answering machine) center is provided to notify the caller and record a message when the incoming mobile phone cannot respond due to a power-off or the like. However, even with this configuration, the notification that the call cannot be made is based on an announcement prepared in advance in the system and cannot be changed according to the user's situation. Therefore, the caller cannot know the time when the call can be made, and repeats useless calls.
The present invention enables a user to arbitrarily set an announcement of an answering machine transmitted to a caller when an incoming call from a mobile phone is not possible in a hospital or during a meeting. With this configuration, it is possible to convey an appropriate announcement according to the situation to the caller.
In order to solve the above problems, in the present invention, when an operation for disabling mobile phone calls such as turning off the power is performed, the user creates an answering machine announcement and registers it in the answering machine center. It is possible. With the configuration of the present invention, the user can send an announcement appropriate to the situation to the caller. In addition, the present invention allows a mobile phone or center to have means for generating an announcement to be registered in the answering machine center, and enables a desired announcement to be generated and registered by a simple operation.
When you cannot make a call on a mobile phone, you can register the answering machine announcement in accordance with the situation in the answering center so that the caller can be notified of the reason why the call cannot be made. No longer repeats unnecessary calls.
In addition, it is possible to prepare a plurality of methods for generating announcements and to select and generate a method suitable for the announcement to be generated.
FIG. 1 is a processing flow for turning off the power of the mobile phone, and FIG. 2 is an example of a screen displayed on the display unit by the processing flow. A cellular phone is usually provided with one power key. The power is turned off by pressing the power key while the power is on, and the power is turned on when the power key is pressed while the power is off. In the example shown in FIG. 1, when the power key is pressed to turn off the power, if the pressing is completed within a short time, for example, 3 seconds or less, a normal power-off process is executed, and the power is immediately turned off. On the other hand, when the power key is kept pressed for a long time, for example, 3 seconds or more, a process for generating an answering machine announcement and registering it in the answering machine center is started. The flow shown in FIG. 1 is as follows.
Step 100: If it is detected that the power key is continuously pressed and the power is on for a long time, for example, 3 seconds or more, the process proceeds to
Step 101: When the power key is kept pressed for a long time, the mobile phone starts processing for generating and registering an announcement for an answering machine. When the generation registration process is started, 210 in FIG. 2 is displayed on the display unit, and it is reconfirmed to the user whether or not to perform generation registration of the announcement. If [No] 211 is selected in the display of 210 in FIG.
Step 102: The mobile phone is turned off (220 in FIG. 2). A new announcement is not registered in the answering machine center, and voice data set in advance in the answering machine center is used as a response announcement.
Step 103: When [Yes] 212 is selected in 210 of FIG. 2, the process proceeds to
Step 104: When the user finishes speaking or terminates voice recording, the display on the mobile phone is changed to 250 in FIG. 2, and the
Step 105: When the audio data registration is completed, the power of the mobile phone is turned off (220 in FIG. 2).
The power supply control unit functions even in the power-off state, and when it is detected that the power button is pressed in the power-off state, the power supply control unit starts a power-on process. When the power of the mobile phone is turned on and normal processing is possible, the announcement for the answering machine registered in the answering server becomes unnecessary. Therefore, when the power-on process ends, the control unit performs a process of invalidating the announcement registered by the user in the answering machine. FIG. 3 shows a processing flow when the mobile phone is turned on.
Step 300: Upon detecting that the power button has been pressed, the power control unit turns on the power of the mobile phone.
Step 301: When the power-on processing is completed and the function of the mobile phone is restored, the mobile phone is connected to the answering machine in order to investigate whether or not the announcement for answering machine is registered.
Step 302: Investigate the own area of the answering machine and determine whether there is an answering machine announcement registered by the user. When there is no user-registered answering machine announcement, the process proceeds to
Step 303: The control unit of the mobile phone displays guidance for inquiring that there is an answering machine announcement registered by the user and whether or not to delete the announcement, and waits for the user's key input.
Step 304: If the user gives an instruction not to delete the registered answering machine announcement, that is, an instruction to store the registered announcement on the answering machine server, the process proceeds to step 306, and the mobile phone is set in a standby state. . If the user gives an instruction to delete the registered answering machine announcement, the process proceeds to step 305.
Step 305: The mobile phone instructs the answering machine to delete the answering machine announcement registered by the user. The answering machine deletes the announcement and returns the announcement setting to the default state. The mobile phone proceeds to step 306 and enters a standby state.

“Default selection” indicates that the mobile phone presents a predetermined announcement sentence to the user, and the user changes the changeable part, such as the date and time, the reason for turning off the power, among the elements constituting the announcement sentence. To generate the desired text. The generated sentence is converted into a voice announcement for voice mail and registered using a reading function by voice synthesis possessed by the cellular phone or the voice mail server.

Elements are classified into five types: “fixed”, “free input”, “required input”, “selection”, and “required selection”.
Fixed: Elements whose contents are determined in advance and cannot be changed by the user. Other elements are variable elements that can be selected or entered by the user or person.
Free input: The user can freely input the contents.
Mandatory input: The user must enter the content.
Selection: The content can be selected from multiple options.
Mandatory selection: It is mandatory to select content from multiple options.
Of the five elements “13:00”, “30 minutes”, and “From”, the two elements “13:00” and “30 minutes” are selection elements for the user to select a number, and “From” indicates the user. It is a fixed element that cannot be changed by
One element can be composed of a plurality of sub-elements. Elements composed of a plurality of sub-elements (hereinafter referred to as “subsets”) are handled with the same concept as a set. For example, the aforementioned element “13 o'clock” is a subset composed of two sub-elements “13” and “hour”.
FIG. 5-3 shows one set 520 constituting the template. The set 520 is for inputting a start time, and is composed of three elements of
The elements that make up the set or the sub elements that make up the subset, but the set or subset is not selected when no significant characters are entered in the first element or sub element that the user should select or enter Is not included in the message text.
FIG. 5-3 (b) is an example in which “10” is input to the sub-element 524 of the set 520 shown in FIG. Since “10” is input to the
The above example is an example of a subset in which an element is composed of a plurality of sub-elements, but a configuration in which the sub-element is a subset composed of a plurality of sub-elements is also possible.
FIG. 5-4 is a diagram showing a correspondence between the input screen displayed on the mobile phone and the template. The control unit of the mobile phone generates an input screen for the user to select and input a sentence from the template, and displays it on the display unit. Fig. 5-4 (a) shows an example of an input screen using a template. In this figure, all the input screens are displayed in one display image. However, if the display part of the mobile phone is too small to display all the input screens as one display image, the images are displayed vertically. Or scroll horizontally to display the required part. FIG. 5-4 (a) is a diagram showing the concept of the template, and the template exemplified here is composed of eight sets A to H.

When the user instructs “default selection” on the
Step 550: When the user instructs the end of the input, the control unit creates a data structure shown in FIG. 5-4 (b) from the input data and the template, and creates an announcement sentence buffer for storing the announcement sentence. Secure and initialize.
Step 551: A set is sequentially extracted from the data structure of FIG. 5-4 (b) one by one from the head and analyzed. At first, set A is taken out.
Step 552: The first variable element to be selected or input by the user is extracted from the elements constituting the analysis target set, and it is determined whether or not the element is “blank”. If the user leaves the first variable blank, the set is considered an unnecessary set and is not included in the announcement. When a significant character is selected or set for the first variable element, the process proceeds to step 553 to perform processing for incorporating the set into the announcement sentence. If the first selected element is blank, the set is discarded and the process proceeds to step 557 to process the next set.
Step 553: A set buffer for extracting and combining valid elements or subsets from the set is secured and initialized.
Step 554: The effective elements from the set, that is, the variable elements and the fixed elements for which data is set by the user are sequentially extracted from the head of the set, stored in the set buffer secured in
Step 555: Step 554 is repeated until all elements constituting the set are completed.
Step 556: Combine the sentence stored in the set buffer with the announcement sentence buffer.

By providing the voice synthesizing function in the answering machine, it is not necessary to provide voice synthesizing means, voice files, etc. in the mobile phone, and the mobile phone can be simplified. Further, by providing a voice synthesis function in the answering machine, it is possible to perform advanced voice synthesis and obtain a high-quality voice announcement. The configuration shown in FIG. 7-2 is a configuration in which the voice synthesized by the answering machine is immediately registered as an answering message. However, it is also possible to return the synthesized voice to the mobile phone and register it as an answering message after confirmation by the user.
