Description

The present invention relates to a multi-item test paper for judging a test result visually or using an apparatus, and a method for detecting a test substance in a sample.

Testing of test substances in urine and blood is indispensable for disease prevention and diagnosis as a clinical test in medicine. Examples of this test method include a method in which urine collection or blood collection is performed, and the presence of a test substance in the sample is confirmed or quantified.
However, this method has a problem that the operation is complicated and the inspection can be performed only at a specific place such as a hospital, and the analysis takes time.

For this reason, many so-called dip-and-read methods have been proposed in which tests are performed using dry test papers as screening for initial diagnosis information of various liquid samples typified by urinalysis and mass screening in clinical tests. (For example, see Patent Documents 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8).

The dip-and-read method is a determination method in which a test paper is dipped in a sample placed in a cup and then pulled up, and the color response of a detection site on the test paper is read visually or with an optical device. In the case of visual observation, judgment is made by comparing the standard color chart prepared separately in advance with the color of the test paper, and in the case of an optical device, the color intensity is analyzed by applying it to a pre-installed calibration curve. Judgment.

The appearance of the test paper used is generally a plastic or paper support with one or two or more detection sites cut into squares of filter paper impregnated with various reagents corresponding to the analysis target. It is.

In this detection site, reagents corresponding to different test items are charged in a dry state, and show a response that can be judged visually or by an optical device such as a color reaction by reaction with a test substance in a liquid sample.
In this type of inspection, the number of measurement items has increased, and at present, a multi-item test paper capable of inspecting 10 items or more with one test paper has been put into practical use (see, for example, Patent Document 9).

However, the conventional test paper is only provided with a reagent portion for one sample on one support, and it takes a lot of time to process multiple samples, and a bottle for storing the test paper. There was a problem that a large space was required.

On the other hand, a multi-item test paper has been proposed in which a large number of detection sites for one specimen are connected to a single support (see, for example, Patent Document 10).
However, since this multi-item test paper has a large number of detection sites for one sample, only the dropping type dedicated to the optical device can be used, and there is a problem that it is not suitable for the dip-and-read method.

According to the method of the present invention, by providing a reagent portion for two specimens on one support, it is suitable not only for a dropping method using an optical device but also for a visual dip-and-read method, Furthermore, it is possible to process a large number of specimens in a short time, and it is possible to store a test paper holding a double test reagent part in the same space.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail.

1, 2 and 3 are plan views showing an embodiment of a multi-item test paper according to the present invention. 1 to 3, 1 is a multi-item test paper, 2 is a support, and 3 to 5 are test reagent parts.

In the present invention, 3 to 5 test reagent parts are separated from one end part of the support 2, the other end part of the support 2 (see FIG. 1), the intermediate part (see FIG. 2), or the test reagent part. It is the most characteristic point that it is provided continuously (see FIG. 3). As described above, in the present invention, the time required for the automatic inspection apparatus to pick up the multi-item test paper 1 can be shortened by providing the support 2 with two specimens. Can be improved.
Conventionally, since 100 test paper bottles are for 100 samples, when 200 samples are set in the automatic inspection apparatus, a space for 2 bottles is required. By providing two samples, it is possible to store a test paper that holds twice the test reagent part in the same space.

The sample applicable to the present invention is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include those selected from urine, blood, plasma, serum, saliva, spinal fluid, sputum and the like. Examples of the test substance in the specimen that can be detected by the test reagent units 3 to 5 include, for example, protein, urea, creatinine, ammonia, uric acid, bilirubin, occult blood, urobilinogen, ketone body, leukocyte, nitrite, specific gravity, pH, glucose , Lactic acid, cholesterol and the like.

The test reagent portions 3 to 5 are formed by holding the test reagent on the support 2, but the support 2 is not particularly limited as long as it can hold the test reagent, and is well-known. What is necessary is just to select suitably from things. Specific examples include paper such as high-quality paper, coated paper, and art paper, and synthetic paper based on synthetic resins such as polystyrene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, and polypropylene.

The test substance in the specimen impregnated by spotting, dropping, or dipping in the test reagent parts 3 to 5 constituting the multi-item test paper of the present invention reacts with the reagent in the test reagent part and reacts. Generate a body. This reactant may be detected by visual observation, but is preferably detected by one selected from a reflectometer and a CCD sensor.

In the present invention, by providing two specimens on one support, the processing time of the automatic inspection apparatus can be greatly shortened, and the space for the test paper bottle required for two bottles can be reduced.
