Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a button sewing machine and a button attaching method using the button attaching sewing machine.
A conventional sewing machine with a button has a button holding mechanism that holds a button under a sewing needle that moves up and down, a cloth holding means that holds a workpiece under the held button, a held button, and a held button. A moving mechanism that relatively moves the fabric and the sewing needle, and a looper that captures the sewing thread from the lowered sewing needle to form a loop (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
As shown in FIG. 8 (A), the cloth holding means of the sewing machine has a flat plate surface that is substantially perpendicular to the vertical movement direction of the sewing needle N, and its tip is close to the vertical movement path of the sewing needle N. An extended plate-like tongue G is provided.
However, in the conventional button sewing machine, in order to sew so that no seam is formed on the lining C2, only the outer surface C1 is scooped and sewn, so that the sewing thread T passes only at the front end portion of the folded outer surface C1. . For this reason, as shown in FIG. 8 (B), the passing width H of the sewing thread T of the outer material C1 after button sewing is narrowed, and the sewn button B tends to wobble with respect to the sewing product C and is stable. There was a disadvantage that it was difficult to sew.
Further, since the passing width H of the sewing thread T is narrow and the penetration depth of the sewing thread T with respect to the outer surface C1 is also shallow, there is a disadvantage that the sewing strength of the button B is lowered and the button B is easily removed.
An object of the present invention is to perform stable sewing of buttons.
The invention described in claim 1 is a button holding mechanism that holds a button below a sewing needle that is driven by a sewing machine motor to move up and down, a lower plate that places a sewing product under the held button, A moving mechanism for relatively moving the held button, the workpiece to be sewn placed on the lower plate, and the sewing needle along a surface intersecting the vertical movement direction of the sewing needle, and a sewing thread from the lowered sewing needle Operation control to sewn buttons on the sewing product while driving and controlling the looper that seizes and forms a loop, the sewing machine motor, and the moving mechanism, and moving the sewing needle, button, and workpiece to move up and down relative to each other A sewing machine comprising a fabric folded along a fold passing through a button sewing position, and a sewing needle can be positioned with respect to the sewing needle by bringing the tip of the fold into contact with each other. like, It has a contact part provided on both the left and right sides of the front end of the plate across the vertical movement path of the sewing needle, and a cloth pressing means for pressing the work to be slid in contact with the crease. The control means adopts a configuration in which operation control of the sewing machine motor and the moving mechanism is performed so that needle dropping is alternately performed before and after the fold portion of the positioned sewing product.
The moving mechanism includes (1) means for relatively moving the button and the sewing needle along a surface intersecting the vertical movement direction of the sewing needle, and the workpiece and the sewing needle. A mechanism that is individually provided with a means for relatively moving along a plane that intersects the vertical movement direction, and (2) the button and the sewing object are integrally held so as not to cause a positional change between the buttons and the button. In addition, it is meant to include both a mechanism that relatively moves the workpiece and the sewing needle along a surface that intersects the vertical movement direction of the sewing needle. The same applies to the configuration of the second aspect.
The invention according to claim 2 is a button holding mechanism that holds a button below a sewing needle that is driven by a sewing machine motor to move up and down, a lower plate that places a workpiece to be sewn under the held button, A moving mechanism for relatively moving the held button, the workpiece to be sewn placed on the lower plate, and the sewing needle along a surface intersecting the vertical movement direction of the sewing needle, and a sewing thread from the lowered sewing needle Operation control to sewn buttons on the sewing product while driving and controlling the looper that seizes and forms a loop, the sewing machine motor, and the moving mechanism, and moving the sewing needle, button, and workpiece to move up and down relative to each other And a button-attaching method using a button-attaching sewing machine comprising a plurality of cloths, wherein a part of the cloth to be sewn, in which a plurality of cloths are overlapped and sewn together, is separated from other cloths and passes through the button sewing position. Fold along, Operation of the sewing machine motor and the moving mechanism so that the sewing product is placed on the lower plate while maintaining the folded state, and the needle drop is alternately performed before and after the fold portion of the positioned sewing product by the operation control means. The configuration is to perform control.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, in the case where a button is sewn so that a seam is not formed on a part of the fabric, the operator can At the button sewing position to be sewn, the sewn cloth and the cloth are separated (part of the cloth through which the sewing thread is inserted and the other cloth not inserted through the button sewing are separated).
Then, for the fabric on which button sewing is performed in such a state, the operator folds so as to form a fold along a line passing through the button sewing position, and the tip of the fold formed by folding is folded. Contact the lower plate contact part. Thereby, the position of the crease of the sewing material made of the folded fabric is positioned at a fixed position on the plane of the lower plate. Then, while maintaining the folded state in the positioned state, the sewing product is pressed and fixed by the pressing means.
Then, at the button sewing position located at the front end of the fold, sewing is performed so that needle drop is alternately performed before and after the fold portion (front and back when the direction in which the front end of the fold is directed is the front). .
In the first aspect of the present invention, the presser that holds the folded portion of the fabric to be sewed, which is composed of a plurality of fabrics sewn on top of each other, separated from the other fabric and held in a folded state. Means.
For this reason, unlike conventional sewing machines in which sewing is performed while a portion of the fabric through which the sewing thread is inserted and the fabric that is not inserted are overlapped, the sewing can be performed with the fabric that is not inserted through the sewing thread being separated. Needle drop can be performed at a deeper position with respect to the fold (a rear position when the front end of the fold is the front) without considering the presence of the fabric through which the thread is not inserted. Accordingly, when the work to be sewn is expanded after sewing, it becomes possible to increase the passage width H (see FIG. 7C) of the sewing thread of the fabric, and to reduce the wobbling of the button after sewing and to stabilize Sewing can be performed.
Furthermore, since the passage width H of the sewing thread of the fabric can be widened and the sewing is performed through a part of the fabric, the button can be firmly sewn to the sewing product.
In the invention according to claim 2, when a button is sewn so that a seam is not formed on a part of the cloth to be sewn, which is composed of a plurality of cloths sewn together, At the button sewing position to be sewn, the sewn cloth and the cloth are separated (part of the cloth through which the sewing thread is inserted and the other cloth not inserted through the button sewing are separated).
Then, the fabric for button sewing in this state is folded so as to form a crease along a line passing through the button sewing position, and the workpiece is placed on the lower plate while maintaining the folded state. To do.
Then, sewing is performed so that needle drop is alternately performed before and after the crease portion (front and rear when the direction in which the tip of the crease is directed is forward) with respect to the button sewing position located at the tip of the fold. Done.
In the invention according to the second aspect, a part of the fabric to be sewed on which a plurality of fabrics are overlapped and sewn is folded while being separated from the other remaining fabrics, and the leading end portion is stitched back and forth to sew. Is done.
Therefore, unlike a conventional sewing method in which sewing is performed while a portion of the fabric through which the sewing thread is inserted and the fabric that is not inserted are overlapped, sewing can be performed with the fabric that is not inserted through the sewing thread being separated. Therefore, the needle drop can be performed at a deeper position with respect to the fold (a rear position when the front end of the fold is the front) without considering the presence of the fabric through which the sewing thread is not inserted.

The needle bar support frame can support the needle bar in a state along the Z-axis direction (vertical direction) when the needle swing described later is not performed. Therefore, at the time of sewing, the vertical movement mechanism drives the

Furthermore,
The
By sewing the
As used herein, “rake stitching” refers to button sewing while alternately dropping needles at the tip of the folded fabric fold and the portion of the fabric that is not in front (the rear in the Y-axis direction). This shows the overall sewing to be performed, and includes not only the case where the sewing thread is passed through the inside of the fabric so as not to penetrate the back of the fabric C but also the case where the sewing thread is penetrated to the back of the fabric C and is sewn.

In addition, the tip of each arm can rotate the held button B 90 ° around the X-axis direction in order to perform root winding sewing. 25 (see FIG. 2) is also provided. And it is also possible to hold the button B in the activated state.

The rake stitching using the lower plate is performed when, for example, the button B is sewn on the surface side of the outer surface C1 by inserting the sewing thread only into the outer surface C1 with respect to the fabric C as the sewing material composed of the outer surface C1 and the lining C2. Is the target.
First, a description will be given of an artificial work performed before the rake sewing operation control using the lower plate.
As shown in FIG. 6A, the fabric C as described above is partially sewn with the outer fabric C1 and the lining C2. A symbol P indicates a sewing position which is a target position for button sewing.
As shown in FIG. 6B, the fabric C has a bag shape between the seams, and the outer fabric C1 and the lining C2 can be separated from each other.
Then, as shown in FIG. 6 (B), only the outer surface C1 is folded along the crease L passing through the sewing position P while separating the outer surface C1 and the lining C2.
Then, the stitch position P of the crease L of the folded outer material C1 is the center position in the X-axis direction of the
Up to this point, the operation is performed manually by the operator, and when the

Then, the
On the other hand, the
Further, the
Next, the
In addition, when the threading holes of the button B are also provided on the left and right like the four holes, the
Further, the
Thereby, the needle drop for the fabric C (state shown in FIG. 7A) and the empty drop for the front side (rear) of the fabric C (state shown in FIG. 7B) are alternately performed.
The distance M1 from the tip of the fold line L of the fabric C to the needle drop position in the fabric C can be set by the

The operation control for the
When the button B has four holes, the left and right threading holes are sewn by the number of stitches set for the number of stitches.
After the sewing, the
As a result, when the outer surface C1 is expanded from the folded state to the original state, the outer surface C1 and the lining C2 come into contact again, and the sewing thread T sewing the button B penetrates only the outer surface C1. The sewing thread T does not appear on the surface of the lining C2.
Further, as shown in FIG. 7 (C), the passing width H of the sewing thread T of the outer cloth C1 after button sewing can be about twice the above-mentioned distance M1 (the thickness of the cloth is d). 2 × M1−d <H <2 × M1).
(Effect of embodiment)
In the
For this reason, it becomes possible to fold and hold only the outer surface C1 without interposing the lining C2 between the folded outer material C1 and the outer material C1.
Therefore, unlike the case of rake sewing using the tongue, which folds the outer surface C1 and the lining C2 while overlapping the outer surface C1 and the lining C2 at the front end portion of the
As a result, the passage width H (see FIG. 7C) of the sewing thread T of the outer material C1 can be made wider, and the wobbling of the button B after sewing can be reduced and stable sewing can be performed. It becomes.
Further, the passage width H of the sewing thread T on the outer surface C1 can be widened, and at least only the outer surface C1 is pierced and sewn, so that the button B can be firmly sewn to the sewing product. Become.
