Description

The present invention relates to a urine collector used when a cared person collects urine by himself.

Conventionally, disposable diapers have been frequently used for urination of care recipients, and as shown in the present invention, there are no tools that can collect urine by themselves and store this urine.

When nursing is necessary due to lower body paralysis, half body paralysis, etc., it is important to deal with urination. Conventionally, disposable diapers have been used at bedtime. Many of these paper diapers contain a polymer absorbent, and urine is absorbed by this absorbent to gel, but urine leaks from the paper diaper for long-term use and other reasons, and underwear and bedding May get dirty. Moreover, since it is difficult to collect urine by itself, a disposable diaper may be used after urinating with a catheter at a predetermined time.
However, in any case, if the disposable diaper becomes dirty, it cannot be replaced without the help of a caregiver. Also, it is necessary to replace underwear and bedding. For this reason, both the caregiver and the cared person have insufficient sleep, which increases the physical and mental burden. Since disposable diapers have poor breathability, they can easily cause eczema, itchiness, rashes, etc. if they are used every day because they have a negative effect on the skin.
Furthermore, depending on the degree of paralysis, there is no such sensation, which may lead to worsening of symptoms.
The present invention was invented in order to solve the above-mentioned problems related to urination means of care recipients, and the care recipient can urinate by himself and without soiling his underwear. It was developed for the purpose of providing a new and useful tool that does not adversely affect the skin.

Reference numeral 7 denotes a rear cap. A female screw is engraved on a part of the inner surface of the rear cap. A through hole is formed in the center of the cap, and a holding tube 8 is inserted and protruded into the hole. The front cap and the rear cap are screwed onto the male screw of the main body.
Reference numeral 9 denotes a urine collection tube, which is a transparent vinyl tube, one end of which is fitted onto the holding tube, and the other end of which is fitted with the holding tube 10. Reference numeral 11 denotes a three-way pipe, which is a T-shaped hollow body, and a stopper 12 is inserted and held in the upper part thereof. This stopper is formed from a cylindrical upper part and a thin cylindrical lower part having a sharp part at the lower end, and this lower part is inserted into the upper part of the three-way pipe. One end of a conduit 13 made of a transparent vinyl thin tube is fitted on one side of the lower part of the three-way tube, and the other end of the conduit is fitted on the holding tube 10. Further, a conduit 14 is fitted on the other side of the three-way pipe, and the other end of the conduit is directed to the storage tank 15.

This storage tank is an integrally molded product of a semi-transparent synthetic resin hollow body, and has a handle 16 and a receiving port 17 on the upper part thereof. This receiving port has a protruding tubular shape, serves as an inlet / outlet port for stored liquid, and has an external thread on its outer surface. A cap 18 is provided with a female screw on its inner surface and is screwed into the receiving port. Two through holes are formed in the upper surface of the cap, and an appropriately long ventilation pipe 19 is inserted and fixed in one of them through a flexible transparent vinyl tube. The holding body 20 made of transparent synthetic resin is inserted and held. The other end of the conduit 14 is fitted into the holding body. The urine collecting device in which the insert, the urine collection tube, each conduit, and the storage tank communicate with each other is configured from the above configuration.
21 is a clamping body. This sandwiching body is a synthetic resin annular body with a part cut away, and is an integrally molded product having an appropriate elasticity, and its side surface is formed in a lattice shape.

In order to use the present invention, first, the respective parts are connected as shown in FIG. 1, and the storage tank is positioned below. (Fig. 1 is an example of connection, and the vertical and horizontal positions of each part can be determined according to the usage situation.) Next, when urinating (male), hold the insert in your hand and apply it to the genitals. First contacts the protective film. This protective film is rich in flexibility and elasticity, and is divided into an upper piece and a lower piece, so that it can be pushed in as it is. In this state, the insert is tilted to urinate with the rear cap side down. The released urine is guided to the storage tank through the holding tube and the urine collection tube and the conduit, and stored. Since the cap is provided with a vent pipe, the air in the tank is discharged from here. After the end of urination, when the plug is removed from the three-way tube, air enters the conduit from here, so that all of the urine remaining partially in the conduit can be moved to the tank.
The cap can be removed from the stored tank, the urine in the tank can be thrown away into place and emptied, reconnected and used again.

In the use of the present invention, it becomes more convenient to use by using the sandwiched body together.
As shown in FIGS. 13 to 14, this sandwiching body is an annular body with the lower part cut off, and its inner diameter is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the insertion body. Therefore, the insert can be covered with an appropriate pressing force. When using, insert the genitals into the insert body, put underwear or other underwear on the insert body, and place the sandwich on it. Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 5, the insert and the undergarment are pressed and in close contact with each other. Since the sandwiched body is made of a synthetic resin and is formed in a lattice shape, it can maintain an appropriate elasticity and obtain the above effects.
FIG. 4 shows another example of the present invention, in which the protective film has an annular funnel shape, and its function is the same as the previous example. Since the genitals are lightly held by the insert with these protective films, stability during use can be obtained, and leakage due to the backflow of released urine can be prevented.
As described above, the present invention is configured by connecting each component, and when not in use, the connection can be released to clean and store each component and replace the component.

Although the present invention has been described above, since the present invention can be used simply by applying the insert to the genitals, it can be used with one hand and can be stored in the tank.
Therefore, the physical and mental burden can be reduced without bothering the caregiver's hands like using a conventional paper diaper and without soiling the underwear and bedding.
Patients with lower body paralysis do not feel urine and control urination is very difficult and may result in unintentional incontinence, especially at bedtime.
Therefore, the caregiver's help is indispensable for exchanging underwear and diapers that have become dirty due to incontinence. However, since the care recipient can wear and use the device on his own, the caregiver's labor and burden are reduced, and the patient's mental independence can be promoted.
The insert size, conduit diameter, conduit length, tank volume, etc. can be appropriately selected and used. As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a tool that is highly convenient for both the care recipient and the caregiver.
